the president saying, you don't like my tone? whatever you think about the way he delivered his speech when he announced this, this is the way that president trump does things. he is completely under siege. this was in them and enormously risky undertaking. what bothers me the most in hearing all of these harsh reviews is that we are losing sight of these extraordinary achievements by these incredible members of our service. could the president have given other people a little more credit, could he have been more humble? of course he could. with that make him donald trump? no. it wouldn't. i know people like things to come out in a different tone, but this is the tone of president trump. i think the bottom line is that he said yes to something that he easily could have said no to. look back. joe biden did not want to do the bin laden raid, right? this is a difficult decision process. ultimately, what matters the

millennials. what would you tell them? >> jesse: i would tell them that social and scandinavia is a complete and utter myth. they are ranked some of the top capitalist economies in the entire world. they have a very generous welfare system, because they have an amazing capitalist system with low taxes and regulations. scandinavian countries were going down the socialist route until about 40 years ago with the economy sort of tanking, they kicked all the politicians out and they/income taxes. they don't have a lot of regulations. the unions are not very tough. there is no minimum wage laws in these countries. they can afford this great health care system there that takes care of everybody, because they don't get involved and overregulated these individuals incomes. have you ever heard a groundbreaking result in the

health care industry in scandinavian countries? no. all of the groundbreaking medical research happens in america be have done my because we have the freedom we have today. >> juan: i will say this. we have young people in this country who feel that the system has been rigged against them. young people say, hey, why am i paying all these high bills for school? why is the health care system so bad? why are these not good stoles dominic schools? they don't see venezuela. what they see is scandinavia. they say, hey. these people have good health care. these people have good schools. less income inequality. >> greg: they have less opportunity, juan. >> juan: by the way, when it comes to a happiness index, the happiest countries are these countries.

>> jesse: then why does everybody want to move to america juan? >> kennedy: i would challenge thesthat assertion that they are happiest in the world. there economic mobility has essentially been slashed and shackled. yes, you have to cut taxes. people have to be able to take more of their money home. that's what improves consumer confidence and allows people to spend more money and higher more workers for their small businesses. that's an incredible thing. people who embrace capitalism have to have creativity. that's the best thing about america. if you have good ideas, you are not strangled by a cultural caste system. by the way, some of the countries that you idealize are actually very homogenous. >> martha: it's true.

>> juan: but big companies like google and amazon are making it harder for small business. that's what's going on. >> kennedy: but we need more freedom. by the way, my mom came over on a boat from romania. her parents took three kids and one suitcase because they had to outrun the communists. their country was decimated by socialism and communism. was a real stories and those are people whose private property was taken away by force and they had to craft all their dreams and they did that here. my grandparents sent all four of their kids to college, three of whom served in the navy. >> juan: that's the american dream, but i don't think that young people are talking about state ownership of major industries. >> martha: many of the younger people on this spectrum have grown in a period of ten plus years of economic expansion. they don't actually understand

and equal access to both sides. >> he has prevented the witness from answering certain questions we have during the deposition. >> now, he is directing witnesses not to answer questions that he doesn't want the witness to answer if they are asked by republicans. >> martha: that's problematic. kennedy, what do you think about what's going on? >> kennedy: i know that lieutenant colonel has been vilified. he has served his country. this is what is interesting about the president. he is such a nontraditional thinker. it's like someone who goes to a loosey-goosey progressive school, all of a sudden, trying to fit in. they are going to have a very difficult year. the president kind of has an extended year in terms of washington protocol. this is a man who has served for decades in the armed forces. if you read the list of his accomplishments, it's very, very stunning. for him, about his protocol lane is pretty straightforward and

very systematic. the president is more like a series of wild tangents. where the president operates may not make sense to this person and hearing what he heard, he may have felt that the president crossed a line. have democrats proven that that line is impeachable? i don't think so yet. i don't think we should be vilifying this person, though, because he does have an interesting history. >> greg: i don't trust twins. that's all. you can't trust twins. >> juan: what? my granddaughter's a twin. say to every horror movie has twins. >> juan: i thought the black-eyed gets killed first.

>> martha: do you come as a democrat have a concern that this could go down the wrong road, because you look at newt gingrich, it didn't end up working very well in the coming election. >> juan: look, i think that president clinton, his numbers went up during the impeachment hearing. i think it damaged al gore going into 2000. i just think that they feel they have an obligation to uphold the constitution, which is equal branches of government. i think they didn't need to do this, but they have done it and they are holding now to the same that applied in previous impeachment hearings.
