infrastructure around the facility. >> reporter: also in southern california the hill fire is still burning near riverside. that fire burned 600 acres and is 30% contained. evacuations were lifted from that area but people returning home were told to be careful because fire crews are still working that fire. in wine country in northern california the campaign fire has burned 70,000 acres in sonoma county forcing thousands of people to evacuate. that fire is at 45% containment, good news considering the peak fire conditions we've had over the past few days. >> reporter: >> we are making significant progress on the fire. there's a lot of optimism we have turned the corner for the better on this fire and i think it is indicative of the fact a lot of evacuation orders and the warnings were lifted. >> fire crews are still actively fighting at least 7 other fires

>> the concern is if student-athletes are opting in payments, have they really benefited? 18-year-olds every single year, that is not something we want in college athletics. heather: on the other hand, the ncaa chairman michael drake saying we must embrace change for the best possible experience for college athletes. >> there. said embracing change has to be done in a manner consistent with the collegiate a medical model, meaning they have to be equitable and if they are able to find a way to do that i will be first in line for that. i am concerned we are thinking of 1% of college athletics about student-athletes that go to duke and the student-athletes in this generation.
