that important because based -- heather: really? >> there's a lot of hearsay, it's not like he has personal knowledge, he got it from other sources, the most important thing about whistleblower is to identify where his sources were, where did he get his information and then take that road down to try to get to actual witnesses with personal knowledge to testify. heather: interesting to add that they said they will not answer any questions that lead to his identity, so that's the only thing that apparently is off the table, whether or not we will see the full questions and answer that is remains to be seen. >> sure. heather: let's talk about impeachments, americans are split on impeaching and removing president trump, 47% do not want impeach and remove, any of this going to make any difference, does that surprise you? >> i don't think this is going to make a difference at all because we see what's coming from the senate, i mean, they will need 67 senators to impeach in the senate and if they can't

get that this is campaigning at its best for the dems, but what's going to happen this week, there are 4 people to testify. heather: we can bring that up actually as you get into this, what's happening this week and what we can expect, bring up the full screen. >> four individuals, now, today everybody that has testified has done so against white house directives, white house said that there's immunity for all of the current employees and who has testified to date has been against what the directive has been and that will end now, i don't see any individuals coming and i think the courts will have to determine whether or not there's a blanket immunity that the white house can rely on and last week there were 2 cases, it's don mcgann and also charles in court, federal court last week and timetable for determining that specific issue, whether or not the white house can prevent people from testifying got pushed back, the

case got pushed back to december 10th and what that does, really creates a problem for the democrats timeline because they want to push to a vote by the end of the year, if they don't get the answer and we don't get people coming from the white house in front of this committee, well, then it could be possible that it's pushed become and pushed back and we are one year from the presidential election. heather: some of them may try to spin that and saying it works to their benefit. >> it's going to create problem. heather: that's true. >> they will have to be in dc, they can't be campaigning. heather: in the meantime as a result john bolton does not have to testify. >> bolton has the same lawyer. heather: got it. >> same exact legal issue, it's a little bit different, they are both former white house employees but certainly the issue on whether or not the white house can tell witnesses

democratic strategist, thank you both for joining us, we appreciate it. let's begin with the breakdown amongst the 2020 democratic nominees and the preference there first, joe biden coming in at 31%, then you have elizabeth warren at 21%, bernie sanders 19 and then it goes down from there. taking a look at this, the one democrat who is rising significantly although she's not in the lead is elizabeth warren. so joe or robert, i will begin with you, what does this mean for joe biden? >> well, i think what this means is he's been in the lead since the beginning of the race, he continues to be in the led at this point, elizabeth warren had a disastrous rollout to medicare for all plan this weekend with staggering price tag that many americans are not going to be amenable to, i think joe biden has held the steady course, presented himself as the reasonable alternative to donald

trump, i think he's the candidate who has the best chance of winning the upper midwest rust belt states as opposed to fringe candidate, let's understand even with bah b's rise, her and bernie sanders combined at 40%, so 50% of the party that's against the form of government i think joe biden is still strong. heather: interesting. holy, what do you think? >> those are the numbers but what we need to be looking at are primary states and biden is not doing well, iowa, new hampshire, south carolina, he's doing okay there, but, you know, his funding is drying up, he'll got to really improve his numbers if he's going to come in first or second in the early states, if you aren't winning the first few states, then your popularly plummets quickly and an opportunity for sanders and elizabeth warren to take the nomination at that point. heather: well, this is the presidential vote preference and in this particular vote you have

joe biden coming in at 41%, president trump getting 39%, bernie sanders 49%, president trump getting 41% and you can see it go from there. holy, i will get you to respond to this? >> yeah, i mean, these are interesting polls, it's fun to talk about, but it doesn't really reflect what might happen in november of next year. if we want to really see what's going to happen next year with the election we need to be looking at florida or pennsylvania, these national polls oversample the east and the west coast, they are not a true reflection of the electorate college. they really can't tell us -- and when was the last time president trump either as candidate or president won national poll, this is no different than anything we've seen in the past 3 to 4 years. heather: joe biden 51% compared to president trump 39%, what do you think about the polls this far out?

>> well, i think it's kind of like looking a forecast 30 to 60 days out, you can't read into it, it's a snapshot of what the american people see right now, comforting figure, a throwback where time didn't run our foreign policy, so i think what president trump needs to be doing at this point in time is exactly what he's doing by moving from new york to florida, concentrate on the swing states, don't try to win the popular vote because more than likely you will not be able to, win florida, ohio, pennsylvania, wisconsin, michigan, win those states and that's his best chance to victory and that's why joe biden scares the president the most of any democratic candidate. heather: interesting, thank you both for joining us, holly, robert, we appreciate i. >> thanks, heather. heather: we will be right back. is that ireland...1953?

believe that if someone with a bigger heart tries the same failed policy over and over again things will get better, they don't get better, they get worse, we are seeing that right now in austin, sadly. heather: let's take a look at the number of homeless in austin, texas, over a thousand, a thousand 37 and that's just the people that they know about, you're standing outside for us this morning, one of the underpasses and when it comes to the underpasses you were explaining that the governor has responsibility for those areas? >> absolutely and not only that but we live in a post 9/11 world and it's purely a safety issue, i mean, you can see behind me a fairly significant size tent, that's an area right next to a major structural foundation that the police can't see what's going on, no one can see what's

going on, that's a serious potential safety issue and that is not something that can be allowed to happen, so the governor has announced at least weekly they'll be cleanups to make sure that the -- you do not have major -- major sections of our infrastructure at risk of something going wrong. >> what does the police chief say about that? >> well, he's weighed in as well and agrees, you know, it was -- it was obvious that even the leftist who were pushing this through knew it was not a good idea because when it pushed in the repeal, they said now homeless can camp anywhere they want, oh, except in front of city hall, if they actually believed that this was not a problem they would not have excluded their own place of work. >> james, i do want to ask you, though, when you talk about or they said they would clean the areas out periodically, what exactly does that mean?

where would they go? >> well, there are numerous places around that both public and private that are available and i think this may actually be part of the ploy, governor -- the mayor, mayor adler has really wanted to increase taxes, increase expenses, get more money in for the city of austin and constantly pushing to set up and that's what he's trying to do, set it up so he can demand more money but there are private organizations in the austin area that do serve homeless as well as all of the other needy, we have contributed to charities like that, like mobile and other significant charities in the
