legislation that got sign intoed law at the same time. heather: but at the same time here is the question, can the president get a fair trial in the senate while democrats, you know, control the house? >> i think he can because in the senate ultimately the procedures are going to be set by leader mcconnell and we need to look no further than the kavanaugh confirmation hearings where justice kavanaugh got a fair hearing and that result worked and i think you will see a commitment from the senate republicans to follow precedent, follow the procedures that it had been used before and give a fair hearing, i think the democratic control of the house, some of the democratic externally, i don't think that will matter as much. heather: even though that's what we've seen, that's all we've seen leading up until now?
