president misused power and obstructed congress. the judiciary committee will meet hours from now. >> reporter: chairman jerry nadler, the judiciary committee, after receiving that 300 page report by democrats accusing the president of serious misconduct and accusing him of unprecedented obstruction. also new phone records from rudy giuliani. adam schiff had this to say. >> phone records are consistent with the coordination of a lot of the schemes. the president of the united states solicited foreign interference in our election and used the power of his office, the power to convene a meeting in the oval office, the power to withhold hundreds of millions of dollars of aid to an ally at war

to get his political dirty work done. >> he is paying attention and fired back at chairmanship. >> he is a deranged human being, grew up with a complex for lots of reasons, a very sick man. he lies. >> reporter: today we get to hear from four constitutional scholars weighing in on the merits of whether this rises to high crimes and misdemeanors and gavilan at 10:00 am. follow the format to the last time, questioning by chairman nadler in his counsel followed by doug collins. there are 41 members on the committee, 24 democrats, 17 republicans. the ranking member had this to say.

heather: abu bakr al-baghdadi was killed during a special forces raid in october. he did not say what intel was found or if any of it will be released. a manhunt intensifying, accused of dragging police officers 50 yards with a stolen car. the incident in dayton, ohio, may have been premeditated. >> all this violence is just ridiculous. >> reporter: one officer is injured but is expected to be okay. suspects nearly ran over two other officers with another stolen car. and the four teenagers, from a juvenile detention center. they were found at an apartment complex outside nashville.

the teens in two others escaping from the front door of the detention facility saturday night. two teens are still on the run including murder suspect, brandon carruthers is charged with armed robbery. former chicago police chief eddie johnson is speaking out for the first time since being fired. johnson was ousted by the mayor weeks before he planned retirement. he says, she says he lied about an incident in october when he was fell asleep at the wheel. in a statement johnson says i did not intentionally mislead or deceive the mayor or the people of chicago. i acknowledged i made a poor decision and had lack of judgment. johnson fell asleep after forgetting to take blood pressure medication.

republican congressman devon nunez suing cnn for defamation. the $435 million suit was filed after the network reported nunez met with a former ukrainian prosecutor in virginia, nunez telling fox news this. >> it is clear to me, cnn had an ask to grind, always with spears, lies, fake news, just happens this time they went overboard and i'm not going to take it anymore. heather: cnn has not commented. a high school kicker making a longshot play as time runs out at the state championship game. scoring a field-goal from the 55 yard line to win the state title in hawaii. the high school football team

disrespectful to the other nato members. heather: a lot of folks saying macron is trying to follow donald trump's leading reference to how donald trump confronted nato in terms of defense funding and all the nation's 29 bringing their contributions up to 2%. >> macron does want to be the number one european leader on defense and he has always wanted a more independent defense and foreign policy and wants to sell french military systems as well. heather: you wanted to mention it. they talked yesterday, the president asked about turkey buying missiles from russia. in reference to russia should they be allowed to join and what is the latest on that? >> macron is half right, nato
