speaker today because in 2018 the democrats convinced the number of voters in the swing states to switch and vote for them and put them in the majority in the house. if they want to keep that majority they need to win over those voters again. a new york times poll shows two thirds of the voters who voted in the swing states who voted for donald trump and switched to the democrats in 2018 plan to vote for the president was what that means is they have an uphill battle. throwing impeachment into that. nancy pelosi is asking these people not just to approve an investigation but an inquiry which american support, to take that choice away from the voters. shannon: if the case does moved to the senate voters will have a lot more to digest. republicans have said they intend to call the whistleblower, the bidens, hunter and to joe, and adam schiff, to take the stand.

armed individuals. >> a witness in the office next door heard several gunshots. >> we heard 8 to 10 rounds fired. >> reporter: after the suspect exchanged gunfire with the storeowner they took off. >> the suspects fled the area, hijacked a ups truck and kidnapped the driver. >> authorities located the stolen truck and started pursuing the vehicle in a harrowing nearly hour-long chase. the truck, the suspects and ups driver inside headed north on the interstate with dozens of police cars on its tail. it got stuck in traffic, that is where law enforcement surrounded the vehicle. >> the suspect engaged law enforcement, opened fire, there was exchange of fire between law enforcement and the suspects and the suspects are now deceased. >> reporter: the ups driver was also killed. the company releasing a statement saying we are deeply

present. there has been no direct evidence the president has done anything wrong so we need to focus in congress on trying to undo the 2016 election, we should focus on getting things done the american people sent us to do and that is prescription drug reform, funding our military, getting the budget done. many things we could be working on, trade deal with mexico and canada. a lot of things we could be doing rather than continuing to try to have this narrative that has been put out since donald trump -- bill: the trade deal had bipartisan support. the only reason it is not getting done is all of this is going on. this is what the white house had to say, nancy pelosi and the democrats should be ashamed, donald trump has done nothing

but lead our country, a booming economy, more jobs, stronger military to name a few of his major accomplishments. we look forward to a fair trial in the senate. speaking of that i think some of what nancy pelosi had to say gives away what they plan to do because she mentioned this isn't something, pushing this forward so quickly, something going on the past 21/2 years so is that an indication they planned on pooling in the mueller report? >> that part agreed with her because she's trying to undo the election that long and since before the president was elected because when you go back to what we learned about peter stzrok and page, look at what he has done, strengthening the military, trade deals antenna with one hand tied behind his back because democrats have been

abscessed with the fact that donald trump got elected president and kept his word. a lot of people talk about politicians, tell us what we are going to do and keep our words. if anybody has done at donald trump has done that. heather: monday will be a busy day. what does it mean for the impending release of the fisa report, horowitz and the testimony on the 11th as well. that was another question i was wondering. >> i think it is hard to say what is going on, what the speaker's timing is. she said a lot of things, we tried to get us mca done, then all of a sudden - to determine the timelines. the most important thing is to look at the facts. they don't seem to be doing that. the whole thing was brought up on hearsay and innuendo and feelings if you watch for

>> welcome back to "fox and friends first," a stunning safety report from uber revealing the ridesharing company received 3000 reports of sexual assaults in 2018, that includes 235 reports of rape, an average of four a week. 9 people were murdered, 58 killed in over crashes during the same period. uber maintains these incidents are rare, 99.9% are safe. the company provided $1.3 billion in rides in 2018. the department of homeland security is withdrawing its plan to require all travelers to have their faces scanned. we talked about this yesterday. when entering or leaving the

you are too old to vote for me. >> he called him a liar, too old to vote, challenge it his iq and seemed to call him if that. a biden spokeswoman tried to clarify he said the word facts, not fat. what do you hear? not many people are buying that. after all of that biden later admits it may not have looked so good for his son to have taken a high-paying job with the ukrainian gas company. he says what may have looked bad but wasn't anything wrong is totally different than whether a president held up $400 billion in aid for the ukrainian military when ukrainians are dying, that is criminal. gorman says he has no regrets about the heated exchange with a former vp, he is glad it happened since all the other questions were, quote, softballs.

this is from russia but we can say nato, the secretary-general yesterday when he spoke with donald trump talked about nato expanding to space and the president has talked a lot about the space force at home. pretty cool. new york city mayor bill diblasio back at home defending his homeless relocation program slamming newark, new jersey for suing to stop it, the suit accuses new york of sending people to newark to live in rundown buildings with mold and no heat. bill diblasio says it is a good program. >> we are paying for it. we are not saying we are dropping people off on the corner in the work and good luck, everyone. we are finding apartments, inspecting apartments, paying for apartments. heather: the mayor says the program should not be shutdown.

nation. restores dignity. heather: work restores dignity, people impacted by food stamps, this ruling could be 688,000 people expected to be impacted by the new food stamps rule and bring the number of for everybody. you respond. >> there is a misconception that people who receive snap which the food stamps program is called, that they are not working. a lot of people working to receive assistance for food. food assistance. they are afraid that along the line more people will lose assistance that might affect children, 1 million children coming down the line. this is one part of the proposal coming april 2020. 36 million people do depend on food assistance in this country and they do not want to. no one is proud of being on food

people are working but we have millions of people that still don't have wages that can pay for food and pay for healthcare. they are not making enough money to make ends meet, it is paycheck to paycheck, people need the help. >> virginia unemployment rate even lower, 2.6%, you get the final word, mark. in terms of wages those of been going up as well. >> absolutely and the virginia economy, we should be encouraging people to stay on their couch. i want to make it clear what happened in virginia is a bait and switch. the republicans do not want to expand medicare and compromise by putting in work requirements and it is coming out. when you compromise your principles you end up getting rolled over and i am hoping the people of virginia do get to work, the fact that it is being tied to their healthcare. with every free benefited is a social contract.
