rob: no choice but to act. that is what nancy pelosi claims when announcing democrats will move forward with articles of impeachment. jillian: republicans demand their own opportunity to call witnesses. griff jenkins joins us live in washington with the possible next step. >> reporter: drafting articles of impeachment is on its way, the fourth time in history congress has taken such action, the judiciary committee entering evidence in the intelligence committee reported hearing on monday, abuse of power, bribery and obstruction. they will vote on them and send them to the rules committee and the house floor for a vote as republicans remain unified behind donald trump. kevin mccarthy quoting alexander hamilton in reaction. >> there will always be the greatest danger, the decision to use impeachment power would be driven bipartisan animosity instead of real demonstrations of innocence or guilt.

staff. that will come out and that is why adam schiff is making such a deal about he doesn't want to testify before the senate. he complained about others, said he didn't want to testify before the house impeachment inquiry but he has taken the position he doesn't feel like he should be called to testify. this is such a rush. i listen to the audio with nancy pelosi talking about this wasn't political, it is exactly what it is, highly partisan, highly political, that is why they are moving with such speed. the president made this clear, this is happening to future presidents. if anyone is doing anything to report -- protect the republican is the president because he said bring it on, i want my day in court. rob: when i said abuse of power and what articles might look like, adam schiff doing the same thing. and what democrats say he didn't
