seem to care, we raced to new highs today and all the market averages will be pursuing this a lot more, fox business tomorrow at noon eastern time, it's appreciated now since the president was first elected, the impact tomorrow. >> dana: i am dana perino along with dagen mcdowell, juan williams and greg gutfeld. this is "the five." senator chuck schumer ready to accuse republicans of a cover-up, another huge week on capitol hill, house democrats are preparing a historic vote on impeachment and that over in the senate, chuck schumer says the trial won't be fair unless republicans give into his demands on witnesses, other democrats rampant at the rhetoric even further claiming that if president trump is not impeached, the 2020 election itself could be compromised. >> we cannot take the risk that the next election will be

2:02 pm
the political tea leaves and it's turning out she was right and her instincts were right but now chuck schumer has to deal with this in the senate and he is suggesting that mitch mcconnell would be involved in a cover-up if they don't do what they want. >> do what i say or else you're guilty of a cover-up. who cares what chuck wants? they've been so ruthless this whole time, we are not going to bend over backwards after they've treated the republicans so unfairly. the whole thing to say that trump has rigged past elections in his rigging future elections is a lie told by losers. they can't win so they have to spin. these are now election birth there is. at any time a republican wins in election, it is some vast republican russian conspiracy. the republicans haven't even begun a senate trial and they are being accused of it but they should ask democrats had a rig stuff because the democrats are pretty good at it. hillary rick the primary against

bernie symmetry tried to rig the general by paying for foreign interference in an election with the dossier, the witch hunt was rigged, 17 liberal lawyers, i believe the midterms are rigged because he knows there is no collusion but elicit dark cloud hanging over the election and then rigged this hearing in the dark by a whistle-blower, it's ridiculous and i brought charts and graphs i'd like to share because i know that's the only thing juan was listens to. this guy is supposedly legit. his approval rating at 44%, and that's a percentage higher than when this whole impeachment thing started and higher than barack obama's was at this term in his presidency, impeachment nationally for the first time is underwater according to the real clear politics average which i have right here and then my favorite chart, this. i've been saying this for a long time, the people don't care

about impeachment, they care about football. these are searches in search engines the last month, everyone is searching, no one is searching for impeachment. when matt can you plug anything in their? >> i just copied it from someone else. >> dana: what do you think about nadler saying that adam schiff is correct, president trump campaign research is a total threat to the 2020 election? >> it's the language, coverups, traders, again it reveals the democrats constant love of overreach and exaggeration and it always without fail results in an over correction. you look at the tea party, if you look at 2016, a look at coming to covington and kavanaugh, they are the masters of overkill and it always blows up in their face even if you look at the dossier, it is a die packed. rob the bank, put it into the

bag of money and then get home and opened it up and it explodes. the dossier like almost everything in the democratic political light is a die packed. they think they've got all the money. they get home and it blows up in their face but i'm a nice person, i want to give them advice. i think they should change the narrative and let go of the outrage feed. i think we have been greta to death before she was born. we are guilty of it. we are both guilty of outrage speak but i think realizing the end of it when people are noticing that the louder the noise is in the media, the quieter reality is. you can't get much better than this economy, we know that. seems like our troops are coming home, people are able to search for things because they are not worried about other things. life is pretty good but the better life gets, the louder and screechy or the media gets and they've got to tell you there is something emotionally wrong with

2:07 pm
back there and give the opponent, the democrats fodder. >> greg: because they think it's right, they're not hiding anything. >> juan: because they are stupid, okay. the second point to be made is this, we have a new fox news poll that says half the nation still favors not only impeaching but removing, so what you have his eye think there is not much mind changing. in either direction, but half the country wants him impeached i don't think a whole lot has changed on that front but i do think we can agree, a fox poll is a good pole, president doesn't like it but it's a very good pole. i think the people who were freaking out are the people who -- is his name donald trump, making fun of nancy pelosi's teeth, picking on a 16-year-old girl.
2:08 pm
>> these tweets are horrific. you can ratchet back your hysteria, people might actually trust you. >> juan: he is the one acting in a hysterical manner. >> he is acting like donald trump. we've known since before he declared his candidacy for the republican nomination, when someone gets loud, you know what that means? they are desperate. they sound desperate and they look desperate. they don't have a constitutional right to try and do a preemptive impeachment to stop an active the president might do as the page has pointed out, they are using scare tactics. and what chuck schumer is doing, he doesn't want to call and these witnesses and he's actually calling out nancy pelosi for not doing her job saying we don't know what evidence these witnesses would present. might be in the exculpatory or incriminating. he's basically saying pelosi has fallen down on what she was
2:09 pm
supposed to do. >> dana: that's what i was wondering about, is schumer having to deal with this. they are going to use scare tactics, real rats are scary, terrorism is scary, clowns are scary and people with cold sor sores. >> greg: it went away and we shook hands. can i ask something, juan brought up the polls and these two things we have to remind people, they were skewed towards democrats which we already know, that always happens but the other thing is, people who support trump are going to live. because we are in a climate where it's unpopular to voice your opinion so some cultures going to call me, i'm wondering if that pollster is going to talk about what i said. i don't trust them. >> dana: the skewed towards democrats is because there are more democrats. >> dana: the battleground states is where the president is doing a lot better.
