others are choosing other people just to sway the internal fight over who the nominee is going to be. >> i don't think it sways the internal fight so one democratic campaigns for 20 years and what you find out is that celebrity endorsements are great for fundraising not so much for voter turnout on election day so these videos are fundraising videos to push forward presidential money coming in and democrats do like republicans have done which is cut out the middleman and had celebrity run for office, two of the last four , look, two of the last four republican presidents have been hollywood celebrities, ronald regan the famous movie star, and donald trump that hosted the apprentice so whereas democrats get celebrity endorsements, republicans just elect celebrit ies president. pete: so jenna roberts talking about celebrities and fundraising but even with all of those celebrities the fundraising of democrats far behind the trump campaign. >> oh, absolutely, because donald trump has the biggest endorsement which is the american people, and his approval ratings are sky high right now, and that's really all that matters and so the democrat s are actually the hypocrites here because you have bernie sanders, elizabeth warren who we're talking against

billionaires, and then, they're sitting down with billionaires wanting their endorsement, so what's really the mixed message there? so i think that the hipocracy of democrats is really showing when you have bernie sanders sitting down at a diner, i don't think that's really inspiring and motivational there and we were talking about kevin costner in the green room i couldn't remember his name so it's spark that pete buttigieg whose kind of the b list candidate is getting the b list celebrity endorsement so again, i don't think it's going to help them. pete: the next time we meet in a wine cave we might meet a democratic candidate and a celebrity. that's the upside, all of you thank you very much and merry christmas. all right, well big money is betting big on president trump's economy in 2020, the signs they're watching in the new year we'll bring that to you. plus, you've been sharing our christmas photos all morning long. this one is maria bartiromo. she will be here on the economy, look at that. plus we'll be getting some christmas photo tips, there she

thoughts on all of this please. maria: first of all that whole idea that all of these money managers are now saying the recession is unlikely, just take us back a year ago when everybodies heads were on fire, oh, interest rates are so low, a recession is at hand. it was complete nonsense the economy is growing we continue to see growth, and you no one thing that keeps getting lost in all of this the fact that we have unemployment at a 50 year low and we've got a solid consumer that continues to show economic growth, we had a gdp out which was better-than-expected on friday, up 2.1% but listen to this from the census. with incomes rising for americans, the poverty rate fell to the lowest level since 2001, and what is not being spoken about in his whole economic boom , income inequality is narrowing, it is lessening. this is a major issue from the left for so many years and it's an important issue that the rich kept getting richer and that it wasn't filtering through. it is 100% filtering through.
