i have not been able to understand the strategy of holding these articles back. we tried to ask juan but we will give you a shot. why is this such a good move for the democrats? >> i think we have heard them say she's trying to get the upper hand because she doesn't have director jurisdiction over what is happening. this is what i think the strategy is and no one will ever say it in speaker pelosi will not lead with this, but i think it is because there is a lot of apprehension about impeachment and public acceptance. they were able to actually do some kind of photo on impeachment and the house, but they know that there's going to be acquittal in the senate. they have to slow down the train to essentially, you know, play both ends to say look, the senate would not be fair. we will not let this go forward because this will be raked. >> jesse: they are still acting tough? >> i think they are acting

different but i think ultimately they don't want to be hamstrung within actual acquittal. >> jesse: but there is going to a and acquittal. so they want the impeachment without the a acquittal. >> that is my theory but i think that's what's happening. >> jesse: they might be ready with that. >> problem with the strategy is the fact that they didn't need anything additional. the votes that do matter more for retaining any support for the democratic party which is those independents are the ones so exhausted by this and showing fatigue and are not supporting this. so it's like an unnecessary rally. the other problem is the lies the entire point of this, gamesmanship. never had to do with substance otherwise a commitment to evidence. there wouldn't be there hurry up and then slow down that there is now an consumer citizen confusion. no one understands the strategy. during this break, this is not an average break but a holiday
