area of the canyon located in the northwest portion of the island were rescue crews are searching right now for a pilot and six passengers including two children, weather conditions they are complicating the desperate search, clouds and rain yesterday severely limiting visibility to 4 miles with nearly 30 mile-per-hour winds. as of now, coast guard officials have seen no sign of the helicopter. today's forecast predicts scattered showers and higher winds around 23 miles per hour, the conditions just not letting up or helping in those search efforts. >> what do you know about this helicopter to her? >> what we can tell you about the company, it is called safari helicopters. they've been in business since 1987, they offer a couple of tours on the island of hawaii. fox news has reviewed records and could not locate any accidents or incidents that the company has been involved in. the company's own web site

>> alicia: amazon apologizing after the company refused to help investigators track down a delivery driver accused of stealing a package. surveillance video shows the driver dropping off a package before picking it back up and walking off. the polk county sheriffs as he called amazon for help identifying the driver but the company refused unless the sheriff got a subpoena. investigators eventually tracked down the driver on their own and charged him with burglary and theft. in need of local reporting live from a west coast newsroom. >> there is nothing better than getting an amazon package at your door except when your delivery people are caught taking the package back. that's exactly what happened in davenport florida recently when cameras caught the amazon worker delivering the package, snapping a picture of it for proof of delivery and just a few seconds later snatching it right back. detectives had all the

information they needed to arrest the thief, they had the date, the time, the location and a photo of him caught in the act but the sheriff says amazon refused to provide a name and instead was told to serve a subpoena to the corporate office. yet police were able to arrest anyway and charge him with burglary and theft on christmas eve. >> it was just really frustrating to us because it should've been a no-brainer investigation. instead, we had to spend the whole day figuring out what amazon could have told us in 2 minutes. >> in a statement, amazon tells our tampa fox station "we work regularly and closely with law enforcement across the country and are working to understand what occurred here to make it right and to reach out to the polk county sheriff's office to apologize. the sheriff says amazon did end up giving them a call the next day and said the whole thing was a big mistake.
