clinton. >> i think he may be right. i use this analogy a lot. there are three lanes in every election. but you have generally the stab many pick, you have the kind of in this case the liberal pick or in our case the more conservative pick. then you have the outsider pick. the problem democrats are having, each one of those lanes is occupied by people who don't fit that label. biden was not the safe pick. they are both terrible candidate. the other lanes are occupied by people who are fraud. the liberal radical pick bernie sanders is a millionaire himself. but jason, i think the democrats will have the 2020. they made a series of strategic miscalculations that will come back and bite them in the butt.
9:15 pm
they buried themselves in identity politic thinking if they called 50% of america racist that the 50% would vote for them because of it. they buried themselves in the impeachment disaster which the polls have shown has been an abomination for them. they married themselves to the collusion hoax which turned out to be one of the american history. reporter: you combine that with the american economy. i think donald trump is stronger politically today than he has ever been. i want to get your take on elizabeth warren. she has gotten a lot of credit for being specific on plans. shy just hasn't been so specific on her personal life. it was her own brother who called her out for saying she called her dad a former janitor and her brother is saying he wasn't a janitor. where did that come from?
9:16 pm
>> that's quite an endorsement when your brother anti-endorses you when you are running for office. she gets credit for having a plan. what they don't tell you is the second part of that sentence. the plan always sucks. it's always awful. i have a plan, too. i want to knock down this brick wallaby bashing my head into it. that's a plan. there is a thing in politics. it's called the big mo. it means momentum. you probably heard it before. she just has lost the big mo. she doesn't have that momentum anymore. i haven't seen anybody on the democrat side pick up that baton. i was not a fan of barack obama's politics. but everybody knew the momentum was behind him. do you feel any of that momentum
9:17 pm
with these democrat candidates? the short answer is probably not. reporter: you saw the surge, it was an intangible thing with barack obama that he would be the person that broke out there. but i do believe voters -- one of the things they seek out, they smell it, they snift, they understand it. is a then isity. you may not like everything donald trump says. but he's a stream of consciousness. he doesn't pretend to be to be he isn't. >> yes, you just nailed it. that is absolutely right. they always tell you knees political consultants. they say the most damaging political narratives are ones that change some preexisting version of you had of who that person was. there was no guesswork as to who donald trump was. you may not liked him but he was honest about who he was.
9:18 pm
who is elizabeth warren? nobody knows. was she the daughter of a janitor or main members man? was she a native american indian. or was she fired because she was pregnant. nothing she tells you comports with the preexisting narrative she tells you she was. she is a completely 100% inauthentic. and that's the most damaging political narrative of all. you nailed it. >> i think that's a death nel kl for her. dan, thank you for joining us. happy new year. last week it was the pastry shop. tonight judge jeanine gives you an exclusive look inside the white house kitchen. she is the darling of the democrats. but are some in the party look

recent bernie rally. some on the left are trumpeting the fairly newly minuted congress woman as not only a face of the democratic party, but a possible candidate for the white house. joining me, charlie kirk. thanks so much for joining me. when you see you aoc kind of co. what comes to mind? >> she represents what i call the kolin kaepernick ring of the democratic party. always enraged about the beauty and blessing in america. she should be mocked for her constant stumbling over the facts. there is something quite serious here. she embodies why i do what i do on college university campuses.
9:24 pm
there are hundreds of thousands of young people being taught her philosophy and ideology. that america was a mistake. that free markets are not the answer. that socialism must come to america. whatever happens on the there will be more young socialists coming if we don't halls of congress. marxism and continue to push back. jason: bernie sanders is a self-he a vowed socialist. the policies she pushed forward are not compatible with a nation with a growing economy. you are talking to college students every day. are they as liberal as we think or are there conservatives. >> i visit college campuses everybody year. students are more times than not
9:25 pm
curious rather than combative about conservative ideas. they haven't been exposed to conservative ideas in the first place. alexandria ocasio-cortez is a proat to type of the radical university. she was instructed to believe this by the elitist professors that america is a horrible, racist country that should never have been founded in the first place. this so dangerous. if we do not understand that we should be thankful we live in america, not angry we live in america. i'm afraid our country will go in the right direction. young people will continue to reject these ideas if we reach out to them. >> are they repelled by the idea that they are going to be mocked by the mainstream media, that it's not cool to be conservative?
9:26 pm
how does that go down in a place like arizona state or florida or wherever you might be. >> we are make it cool to be conservative again. we had 5,000 students in florida a week ago today we had the president of the united states address the largest ever young conservative gathering in florida. it was unbelievable, something the traditional media did not cover at all. you had 5,000 students coming to florida on their christmas break. there are so many young people being indoctrinated to believe the same things aoc parrots every day. fighting for these ideas. she shouldn't mocked, she should be laughed at. but there is a serious undertone to ocasio-cortez before because she is a harbinger of things to come unless we do something about it.

9:30 pm
it's extremely tragic what we heard tonight. we are standing in solidarity with the jewish people. we stand with our entire community united and say we'll go after the perpetrator in this case. we don't know all the facts. there are five families with family members seriously wounded. we are hoping they have recovery. and we'll stand united with our entire law enforcement community to say we cannot tolerate hate in any form. we'll do egg we can to make sure here in monsey the entire rockland community feels safe. i'm senator david carlucci, representing rockland county.
9:31 pm
jackie: they just wrapped up a press conference there. let's go to ted williams, a retired detective. what are you making out of what we are hearing tonight in monsey it looks like five people went to the hospital after a man went into a a pipes home celebrating hanukkah and stabbed them with a machete. >> from what we are told there was a hanukkah party going on at the rabbi's house and there may have been more than five people injured as a result of this person going into the home with a machete and stabbing and cutting various individuals. from what i am told he made it to an automobile. my understanding there is a great possibility law enforce' has the tag number of the automobile.
9:32 pm
it's alleged a witness has given some information to law enforcement. and so they are on the lookout for a vehicle. ja heard 10 or 15 minutes ago that there is a $20,000 reward leading to this individual's arrest. are you surprised that type of reward was put out so quickly? >> no, i'm not. we have seen in the recent past weeks here numerous attacks on the jewish community. and this seems to be just another one of these sad incidents in which the jewish people are victims and targets. there are indications that they have given a scruption of the man -- a description of the man who had the ma complet -- had td
9:33 pm
fled the scene in a vehicle. i understand they have the license place number for that vehicle and they are looking for the vehicle. jackie: he went in during a hanukkah party. the individual's face was allegedly partially covered and he's said to have been an african-american. what is the next step if they do in fact have his license plate number, where could they go from here? >> that's a wealth of information because having the license plate and possibly the tag number. you can put out all point bulletins that can alert law enforcement in that area. if they have the tag number as we believe they do, they are able to trace that tag number to a specific address.
9:34 pm
and all of those things are very, very important in the combining stages of this investigation. what our viewers must understand is there is a great deal of confusion when these tragic incidents happen. and many people see didn't things. so what law enforcement officers are trying to do is to talk to as' people as they possibly can to get an idea of what has taken place here to be able to put somewhat of a composite together so that they can feed that information to other law enforcement officers in the area. but this is a very tragic situation. i have covered numerous synagogues or stabbings and shootings. we had one at the tree of light in pittsburgh, pennsylvania. we had one in california. now unfortunately it appears as though someone has gone into a
9:35 pm
hanukkah party where people are celebrating. and at a rabbi's home. and to have used a machete on individual is a sad, horrific scenario of events. jackie: there is something so horrific about those intimate peaceful religious moments being marred by something so ungodly, to go in there with a machete and stab people while they are worshiping. it happened two months ago where a man was slashed outside a synagogue and new york police stepped up patrols in three brooklyn neighborhoods after they are having what they call an alarming increase in incidents there. they talk about this being a hate crime. they don't have exactly what this individual's motive was. but what's the difference
9:36 pm
between investigating hate crime versus some other type of crime. >> like you said, jackie. it's early on here to establish a motive. but any time, any individual goes into a party of a group of people of a specific culture and carries this kind of act out, irrespective of how we name it. as far as i'm concerned. it's domestic terrorist act. and when we use the word terrorist, i use it rather loosely. we do not know the motive at this time as to what is going on. but this person was hell bent on going in there and injuring as many people as he possibly could with this machete before running and fleeing in an automobile. so this was not just something that happened at the spur of the
9:37 pm
moment. this was clearly something you would have to believe was planned. jackie: i'm looking at the twitter account at the jewish council for the hudson valley region. new york governor cuomo said i am directing the state police task force to investigate and use every tool available. it looks like there is another press conference. >> the hate is out of control. >> that's a complicated question. why do people hate jews. why do people hate me? because i'm a jew? what did i do to anybody. the people stabbed tonight. what did they do? did the perpetrator know who they are? or just knew they were jews. there is so many hate on social media coming from didn't areas.
9:38 pm
there is not a shock that somebody will come out and do something terrible. word have up reply cases. the word that come out of your mouth, the word on social media. they result in people being murdered and assaulted. it results in people being called dirty jew. that's a regular thing. that's not even -- >> some people want to know what would be the plan of attack. they need to have first of all [inaudible] law enforcement and political leaders. tonight we have elected officials and county sheriff, local police, everyone is out in force. any time there is an attack there need to be a full
9:39 pm
response. there need to be a full response. secondly when we have the news law enforcement is increasing patrols. it need to be more than 15 hours. it need to be better than what we saw in brooklyn. the only thing it does is take up parking when they put in the bus. >> they put police cars that are empty. >> the final thing is we keep hearing in the news, another jew has been beaten, another one has been stabbed. what are the consequences. we need a report from the brooklyn d.a. give us the consequences. jail, community service. tell us the other side of the story. hopefully more people will see that part of the story.
9:40 pm
they will say beating up on a jew isn't about beating up and . it has no consequences. most of the people -- the point is that's of the people perpetrating these acts of hate, there are no consequences. you read an arrest but you never read of the consequence. what happened to the person who committed the act? almost nothing. political leaders. i work with the community. but the major -- people want to know, what's the plan. a, b, c, d. bring your commissioners and top people together. there is an emergency situation. the governor should declare an
9:41 pm
emergency situation in the state of new york. i mean, what are we waiting for? first it was just verbal and okay. how people are being murder and assaulted and stabbed. so the governor should announce an emergency in the state of new york. forget about the mayor of the city. he's missing in action. i don't know where he is. but the god makes the statements, says the right thing. but those are all word. and words are cheap and people are tired. they are tired of people putting things out on twitter, how much they care. they are tired of press conferences. the courage of many leaders, they condemn anti-semitism. that takes a lot of coverage. wow, we'll give them a medal of honor at the end of the year. what's the plan to deal with this? how much more of this is going to happen.
9:42 pm
there is no guarantee to get rid of hate, racism and anti-semitism. but does anybody in this state feel anybody is doing the job really addressing issues? find me one person who said they are doing a great job, the mayor of new york, the governor of the state. no one feels that way. i wonder why? because they are not doing anything. just condemning it. then they condemn it again and again. what's the plan. we want to know the plan. there is no plan. people want to know the plan. something needs somebody done. my god, i'm sick and tired of jews asking me, is this prenazi germany? the 9-year-old man from new york who died.
9:43 pm
got belted in the face, then stomped on the floor. he said he has never in his life seen such hate. manhattan, 41st between 2nd and 3rd. he says to me, is this pre-nazi germany? i am sick and tired of people asking me that question. it isn't. these attacks were happening against any other group, fit was happening against transgender or gay people or plaque people. can you imagine what would be going on in the state of new york today? can you imagine the reaction, the marches and the yelling and screaming that would be going on? but jews, no, not a big deal. we are fired, we are sick of this. of what's going on. the fact that we don't feel that the powers that are doing what they need to do.
9:44 pm
>> member of the new york state assembly and founder of americans against anti-semitism. >> if i can jump in there as a state senator. jackie: you heard members of the community in monsey, new york, upset about what happened tonight at 9:50 tonight. a man went into a rabbi's home where they were having a hanukkah celebration. and stabbed five people with a shah she tee. steve rogers is a former joint terrorism task force member. understandably emotions are very high there in the jewish community. and what we were getting -- what we were just hearing from them. the members saying the government, the mayor, elected
9:45 pm
officials are not doing enough. words are just words. they want a plan. >> they are absolutely right. there is a war being waged in this country on jewish americans from coast to coast. and government officials whether they be from the united states congress, local officials have to step up and develop a plan. my colleague ted williams was absolutely right. this was an individual who planned this operation and knew they were going into a hanukkah party, and what should be the plan b? well, years ago i headed up an a bias crime program in new jersey. first being proactive, community policing, get the cops back out on the street. get them to know the who, what, when, where, why.
9:46 pm
also, and i think it's very important. most of these people involved in these horrific attacks have long criminal records. individuals lining this have to go to jail for a very, very long time. that should be the plan, lock them up, put them away. ted, i want to ask you, there was an individual there that said there should be some type of a plan that said if you do this, the repercussions will do this. if you do x, you will get y. is there anything like that in place? what needs to be done in that regard? >> well, you know, i have to echo with each rogers has said. the fact about it is, unfortunately in america jews are definitely being targeted. they are not only being targeted
9:47 pm
in new york, but they are being targeted all over this country. and i can -- as i listen to the gentleman speak, i can feel his frustration. and we have laws on the books. but the problem is these laws, individuals are given slaps on the wrist and they are not mandatory, they are discretionary laws. but one of the things that must be done right away is to try to determine if this is an isolated incident just in new york or is this something of a bigger scale. my assumption is you will find synagogues all over the country will be on a high state of alert for the next few days. i can tell you, jackie, and i think steve would concur with this.
9:48 pm
we have seen in recent weeks the percolating of this over and over again. because there have been attacks on individuals of the jewish race. and that's the unfortunate thing going on. so while they are frustrated, law enforcement specific duties tonight is to try to get this perpetrator and try to find out if this perpetrator is part of a bigger package of terrorism possibly out there, or is this an isolated incident. i have got to tell you, and i think steve would concur with this. i don't see this has an isolated incident. there was somebody who i believe from everything we know was targeting jews. he specifically went into the rabbi's house during a hanukkah party and specifically started shark away at jew -- started
9:49 pm
slashing away at jews. then he fled in an automobile, getting away from that scene. there is some word it's possibly a black person. we don't know that because the authorities have not given us that information. but irrespective of who it is, we need to determine of a largee attacking jews. heard what ted has to say. what are your thoughts on that? >> i believe ted is absolutely right. it goes back to the information that we have. and ted put it together well. we have an individual who no doubt in our minds targeted these people because they are jewish. he went into the man's house with a machete and then was able to get to a car. tomorrow morning i will be on my way to atlantic city, new jersey
9:50 pm
to speak at a synagogue on another subject. what's going through my mind right now, these poor individuals, you can't even go to your house of worship quote worrying about a maniac for some reason who can cause such harm. government officials are going to have to step up and do put ao this. there are ways to solve these problems and they have to the community closely. those individuals who talked about police cars, cops in them, buses, taking up parking spaces. it takes more than cheap talk to solve these problems. i believe ted nailed it with the information we have. these individuals, if there are more than one. but this one individual will be caught rather quickly. >> steve is on target here.
9:51 pm
particularly if they have a tag number of an automobile. naturally that automobile could very well be stolen or not associated directly with the perpetrator. but again, this was clearly a targeted plan scenario where this person wanted to not just slash. when you use a machete on somebody, you are trying to kill them. he went in there trying to kill these people. and this coward ran out of there and got into an automobile. and i would have to believe earn all points bulletin is out and they are going to bring somebody to justice and i think very soon. jackie: steve and ted stick with me for a moment. it's 12:50 in new york city.

i'm thinking of ted and steve, any time there is a mass stabbing, a mass shooting of any form it's upsetting. we all now that. when it comes to religion or children. we just hold those so sacred and that's what gets everyone riled up. these individual went in for a hanukkah party at a home. and people left stabbed with a machete. you could seat pain and anguish that was in this community. they touched on how the mayor and governor and elected officials are not doing enough. words are just words. i want to go to governor cuomo's tweet. he said i'm horrified by the stabbing of multiple people in a synagogue in rockland county tonight. i think it continues to go on

here. people upset about that. steve, what would you say when it comes to what elected officials are doing or aren't doing when it comes to these types of stabbings and possible hate crimes? >> the governor should have cut and pasted what he said the last time. this is what the people are saying, all we get is tweets and committee meetings and hearings and investigations. in this case and others some cops, city officials, be it the mayor, the governor, should be sending somebody to the community right now, get together with those people, calm their nerves, and let them know there will and plan. and the plan haslude people in the community. leadero
