[applause] heather: american firefighters cheered as they arrived in sydney where we find anna coleman at the command center where they are tracking the flames. >> reporter: it was beautiful to see. i spoke with the fire commissioner at the emergency operations center and he said that applause was impromptu and went on and on and on for american firefighters. it is 8:45 at night and fire commissioner is telling me will be a long night because fire conditions are getting worse. he told me just moments ago one of his volunteer firefighters was airlifted out for severe burns, details are thin about how bad this could be. everyone is hoping for the best but the state alone has lost three volunteer firefighters since this wildfire season began

sanders, buttigieg, klobuchar and tom stier. what does it mean for others who have not made the cut? >> it means they will have a difficult time going forward as the barrier to entry to this debate was raised a little bit but is still not that high. you have to be five% or more in several polls. at the club for growth our prediction is these will be the six that make it into the final race for iowa and new hampshire and south carolina and you have two tears there, that top-tier you should with biden, sanders, and elizabeth warren and the folks who are pushing to get into that tear, amy klobuchar is the only moderate on the screen. the others are fairly radical progressives and she has been able to hold on because unlike biden who decided to go to the left she stayed pretty standard, common sense midwesterner.

we will see if she can make it to the top-tier. heather: we will see if she stays in that position in the next debater if she goes further left. democrats must at five% in approved national polls or seven% from early voting, iowa, new hampshire and south carolina. we mention the last two because you are looking at the polls now that allowed tom sire to make the cut. in nevada you have biden with 23% followed by sanders and stier above warren and pete buttigieg and in south carolina we have 36% for biden. pretty far ahead, tom sire in second place. does that surprise you? >> it is surprising. he has surged far in the last poll. what it shows is when you have a lot of money and can buy ads for several months, nobody is catching on you can put yourself
