in others. in the meantime, we have a surprise for you. in new york city, sean hannity takes over. the one you gave me my five seconds back. it's time you given set of take, take, take. it's unreal. welcome to hannity. a disturbing new development from the fisa court. knives are out. democratic party headingng to iowa. we will show you how all of the radical 2020 socialists are starting to turn on each other. anti-regime protesting going on in the country of iran, drawingg worldwide attention. many liberals are silent, because it doesn't fit into the anti-trump narrative. we start, once again, in the swamp, where nancy pelosi, speaker by name only and her botched impeachment charade are
10:01 pm
now a source of official embarrassment for top democratsp after months of screaming "urgency," "urgency," she. inexplicably sat on the articles of impeachment for weeks. what happened to urgency? "the senate shall have the sole power to try impeachments." sole power. the senate has every right to dismiss. pelosi doesn't get to tell the senate majority leader,, mitch mcconnell, how to do his constitutional job and what his role is, which is why as mitch mcconnell pointed out, pelosi's stallob tactics have achieved nothing except the phony belief that it was urgent to do it so quickly. never was. take a look. >> on friday, speaker pelosi said that she may finally --
10:02 pm
the strange gambit has achieved absolutely nothing. but it has produced one unintended side effect. the house case is rushed, weak, and incomplete. >> sean: tonight, president trump is right. pelosi will go down as the worst speaker in the country. there's a really good chance she will lose her job in november. right now, even fellow democrats are trashing the speaker behind closed doors. it's not working out well. >> she actually did gain a lot by holding up these articles of impeachment for three weeks.
10:03 pm
a lot of skepticism on capitol hill. >> yeah, definitely. she was clearly putting a positive spin on what a lot of democrats have said.d. i do think there are a lot of democrats, welcome i'm not going on the record and saying it. >> sean: from start to finish, pelosi has obviously botched this political stunt. never knew what was in it. she criticized the call in question before she even read that transcript. she authorized the impeachment inquiry without a vote. she appointed a corrupt compromise congenital liar by the name of, yes, adam schiff, to lead this bogus inquiry. then, she conducted the investigation in secret. he addition to behind closed doors the witnesses grooming testimony selectively leaking material. why? to shape public opinion. the whistle-blower never testified after it was
10:04 pm
discovered that he had been apparently talking to, may be coordinating with schiff's office from the beginning. the only back witness, well, that information was exculpatory for the president and he refuted the democrat's wild accusations. and yet, they still passed two articles of impeachment. zero report. democrats actually voted against the articles. these are the weakest articles of impeachment in the history of the united states, not worthy, frankly, of the senate's kind. despite their best efforts, even the mob and the media failed to bolster the support they wanted. look at this. according to news, a whopping three force of the media's coverage centered around impeachment.in naturally, 93% of that, negative. but americans are not buying it. the polls have shifted in the president's favor. pelosi is trying to save face. good luck with that.
10:05 pm
mission and life. >> we have confidence in our case that it is impeachable and this president is impeached for life, regardless of any gamesmanship on the part of mitch mcconnell. however, that could still come to bear. but we are confident in the impeachment and we think that it is enough testimony to removeom him from office. >> sean: now, the only person less self-aware than nancy pelosi may be her colleague, the congenital liar, schiff. he appeared on "the view." you know, the show where they all hate each other. they are complaining that the senate won't fulfill their constitutional duty. take a look. >> he believes he is above the law, unaccountable, and we needed to move forward.
10:06 pm
even if the senate won't do their constitutional duty, we in the house need to do ours. >> sean: so why is a congenital liar appearing on "the view?" why not this show? we offered him three hours nonstop. 625 of the best talk radio affiliates in the country. one hour, thanks to this great audience, the number one show in cable news.es oh, that's right. he will actually have to answer for his malignant behavior. after all, this is the coward who afforded zero rights, zero due process, basic fundamental fairness to president trump, the way newt gingrich did with clinton. it appears he tampered, perhaps, with witnesses. remember, he actually fabricated a transcript that didn't exist. of course, he lied about all of it. schiff doesn't apparently care about constitutional duties.
10:07 pm
now, since 2016, democrats have cared about one thing, one thing only, destroying it by any means possible, donald trump. this is a desperate last ditch attempt and it has been an absolute failure. meanwhile, the trump agenda continues to be an absolute success. the unemployment, wow. in spite of all of the noise and all the conspiracy theories and all of the hoaxes, it is now at the lowest rate since 1969. many of you watching and probably weren't born yet.es that's 3.5%. labor, underutilized rates, you know, the forgotten men and women, disproportionately negatively impacted by biden and his economy, yep, they are actually outpacing the growth of high income earners. wow. the rich.
10:08 pm
earnings, growth among every race, every gender, tax bracket is far exceeding the obama-biden. the economy firing on all cylinders. here now is house minority leader, kevin mccarthy. i don't know how you explain it. there was all this urgency. they came back from vacation and they had no urgency there either. the only urgency seems to be just to try and get everyone at christmas time talking about donald trump and he was impeached for nothing. >> you see the hypocrisy. do you remember the letter i sent to nancy pelosi when this first started? let's lay this out.. a fair process, a due process. now, she holds it up, but i believe she held it up for a number of reasons. one, she has a weak case. remember what the democrats did in 2016?
10:09 pm
they beat bernie sanders. why? they used superdelegates. they also had the dnc chairperson resigned the night before the convention, because they got caught cheating. what this does, it harms every senator running for presidentau with iowa being february 3rd. joe biden should actually make a pledge not to campaign. >> sean: now, they are going to go back after they impeach and try to get more witnesses to re-impeach the impeached, because they were ready before? what is the new process or the new conspiracy theory, or the new witch hunt?he it's not the role of the senate to bring any new witnesses in. they are talking about bringing other witnesses in, but the house never subpoenaed. the house never went through. when you watched an interview with nancy pelosi. they said, why didn't you go to the courts? she said, oh, it will take too long.
10:10 pm
she said she wanted to hold bacy and now --ou this is the weakest, fastest impeachment in the history of america. the only person who abused the power were the democrats. >> sean: let's go over constitutionally. does the senate have any role in impeaching the president? the sole power to impeach is where? in the house. okay. the sole power in the senate is where? now my question is this. the house impeach the president along party lines. not one went along with this. so, you have one fact witness and that was ambassador, whose statement was expository. >> you had another fact witnessr in adam schiff, because he lied and met with the whistle-blower.
10:11 pm
remember that. he was a judge. that would never hold up in the rule of law in any court in america. >> sean: all right, the house, then, has the sole power to do the impeachment. they've impeached him. now, house managers will go to the senate. they will have the big, you know, i guess they will bring it in with such sobriety and pompte and circumstance. all right, whatever. and then some of senate's job, again, they will get sworn in by the presiding judge. that will be keith justice. that will be john roberts. they are not supposed to do the house's job for them, are they? >> no, they are the jury. they can't have cell phones, they can't talk to one another. they can't raise questions. they write their questions down. just like anyone who has ever served in a jury. it is not their case to say, oh, i want to call some other witnesses. i want to try the case for you, because it's a week. they have their opportunity.
10:12 pm
but one thing that wouldn't happen in america, you havee people in this jury box, who are already made a decision on this case. like kamala harris. she said back in october that she would impeach the president before he was even impeached in the house. in any jury, she would be kicked out.wa >> sean: all right. thank you congressman kevin mccarthy. the republican leader in the house of representatives. now, let's turn to iran. look at this. this time, demonstrators want burning american flags or shouting death to america, death to israel. no, these crowds turned up to denounce their own hostileae regime. they were ripping down posters of the dead terrorist leader, soleimani. they were chanting, "our enemy is right here."r, they lied to us that it's
10:13 pm
america. firing live ammunition into the crowd, beating protesters. look at this powerful scene. see that? undeterred demonstrators, they chose to walk around a large american and is really flag painted on the sidewalk. look at this. pretty amazing stuff. to avoid stepping on it. then, they were booing and cheering the few who did not follow suit. they are leading the chance, death to america, death to israel, burning the israeli flag. hatred, bigotry as far as the eye can see. no, we can't do it for you. we believe in freedom in america. we don't believe in the suppression of freedom and liberty and rights. we don't like how women are treated. we don't like sharia law. we don't like how gays and lesbians are murdered.
10:14 pm
we don't like any of that. we don't support any of that. they will have to act themselves. one thing is clear, under president trump, iran can't have a nuclear weapon. you are going to have to win your own independence. we can't put american troops on the ground. this president has promised hee won't. we can't attract conflicts of any kind. what you do have the right, it is a god-given right. we are endowed by our creator. we believe that for all human beings. sanctions will not be lifted if iran continues to engage in hostile behavior all around the regime, all around the region,hu if they continue to attack americans, if they continue to attack american assets, or kill americans. more freedom, more prosperity
10:15 pm
for your country, you must take control of your own destiny. joining us now, arizona senator. i watched this and i watched a few people that did step on the american flag and i watched the majority who didn't. i'm i'm thinking, wow, ever since the president's sanctions have been put in place -- now, if iran and people could figure out they are the ones causing all of this, they are the ones that make us live in o this oppressed society. do you think they can over turn this government? >> think about the courage they are having to show to risk their lives to stand for freedom. when i saw those images of them walking around the american flag, the israeli flag, you know
10:16 pm
what is in their hearts. this is in strong contrast to those that were forced to come to soleimani's funeral. this is what is really happening to the iranian people. they are freedom loving just like every god created person. our prayers are with them tonight. >> sean: i would agree. the sad reality that we do now, and i would love to be able to fight the evil around the world. we don't have the resources. we don't have the money.e we can't lose american treasure. when they kill americans, or even shoot down drones, i don't think i would have the patience that donald trump are showing. >> that's exactly it, sean. it not only has killed over 600
10:17 pm
of my fellow servicemen and women, but it is responsible for the killing of so many iranians. this is a bad guy and somehow again, the media and the left, they can't seem to figure out that it's not that difficult. we've got the good guys, us, and president trump making a bold decision to kill this terrorist leader and then you have the bad guys, the iranian regime. they are continuing to oppress their people.le but with a maximum pressure campaign continuing to crank upp though sanctions, we need the europeans to get off theh sidelines. stop trying to bypass the sanctions. work with us to squeeze these regimes. let the iranian people find a better path for themselves. >> sean: all right, thank you. as the house leader -- puzzle democrats have been noticeably silent. why would they be silent about liberty and freedom? we hold these truths to be self-evident, all men are created equal.
10:18 pm
life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness. would they support that for all people? their silence is deafening. after spending more than a week hyperventilating over the president's actions, they have almost entirely ignored the into a regime protesters. most couldn't be bothered to even issue a tweet. democrats bashing trump is more important. b what part of the mob and the media. here, we have millions of iranian citizens now crying out for freedom. we should stand with them in solidarity at least. we can't save them. we wish we could.st they have turned a blind eye to evil. i thought they cared about the right to women, gays, and
10:19 pm
lesbians. all by turning their backs on the citizens of iran. you know, dan, i don't think this is that complicated.ze i know we can't save every part of the world were dark and evil and regimes like this exist. i would like to think, though, s we'd stand in solidarity with the people and watching the majority step away from stepping on that american and israeli flag was inspiring. >> it was inspiring.tc this is right. we cannot be expected to -- having said that, if we have an opportunity, an open opportunity to minimize risk to americans around the world, with minimal exposure to u.s. assets, we should take it. i have to ask the democrats, and i've asked this a couple times.
10:20 pm
i'll ask it again. seriously, i'm not kidding. what side are you on? we should turn the table on them, sean, and we should ask them the question. you keep challenging president trump for killing one of the world's worst terrorists. explained to me in a paragraph or less, what was the benefit of keeping the world's number one terrorist alive? please explain. tell the american people what the benefit was. they will never do it. they will run from the question. >> sean: you are more over and then maybe i am. i'm a registered conservative. who are the most outspoken in the way women are treated under sharia law? i thought these were liberal values. m
10:21 pm
>> you know, sean, and dan, the reason you are hearing the deafening silence is that they don't want to give trump a political victory. it seems to me that he is getting credit for the way the iranian economy is imploding. this regime might be on the way to collapse. you have people going to the streets to protest this regime. you aren't hearing any support from the democrats. this might avoid a war. they don't want to give him a victory. >> sean: so they care more about hating trump than the simple basic fundamental that wa are endowed by our creator with inalienable up rights? they lecture us all the time on even the words we say, never mind the actions some of these countries used to treat their citizens.
10:22 pm
>> well, that's right. that's why joe lieberman came out and said, why can't i follow democrats at least give trump credit for taking out this president. they couldn't even do that. it's all about hating donald trump and trying to win back in 2020. >> sean: all right, last word, dan. >> yeah, i mean, they are actually advancing iranian propaganda. we've actually seen it finally, that this was a revered figure. so revered, they are ripping posters down. give us a bright, guys. please. this is america. get on team america for once. >> sean: wow. what a reception the president just had earlier tonight. we are going to play it straight ahead. also, unbelievable fisa court has now capped a lawyer who has appeared on the rachel maddowtr

10:29 pm
bureau. he is the same man, as you said, who both defended the fbi's surveillance of carter page and went directly after congressman, devin nunes, which was validated. he still defended the fbi. he played it down horwitz's report. he is going after devin nunes. he accused him of obstructing justice and says he should be charged. people are asking the very question that you asked. why was he appointed? senior republican lawmakers led by mark meadows are going to send a letter to the judge
10:30 pm
demanding that he be removed from this oversight. they actually threatened that come march when there's a reauthorization for the fisa, that they might not reauthorize it at all, regarding the fisa report. this is a serious situation. it can change at the drop of the hat. it looks like dave is in for a fight. it looks like republicans are pushing back. come march, fisa may not be reauthorized. >> sean: there is alsoso concerned that paige'sin application may not be the only one altered. is that true? >> that's absolutely true. she is very concerned. she was the former head of the foreign intelligence surveillance court. she suggested that this wasn't the only one. there are a number of people saying we need to review all of these fisa applications. that's something that he is going to be doing.
10:31 pm
remember, reauthorization comes back up in march. if nothing changes and if the fisa is reauthorize, we may never get those changes. that's what a lot of people are all concerned about. about. >> sean: unbelievable. great reporting. sara carter.ne he is the republican leader in the house intel committee who happened to be vindicated by every single word of the inspector general. devin nunes is with us. can you explain this to me? you told the truth. adam schiff is now proven to be a liar for the 400,000th time. >> sean, you really just can't make this up. it's almost like they wanted this to happen, like they knew the republicans were going to go crazy over this. a i sat down a few times in interviews. it's like the court wants to get itself abolished. and so, what sarah is talking about is the section of fisa that we authorize.li
10:32 pm
it was a five year authorization. that's a tool that we use to really target terrorists.fi the bigger problem is that fisa itself is a law that dates back 30 years. we would actually end up shutting down a critical program because of the abuses that have taken place on a larger program. but i agree with mark meadows and others, that if we are going to appoint people like this, and it's not just the guy accused me of federal crimes. it's more that the guy has really downplayed this and has been an apologist, really, about what has happened with the fisa report. so i just don't know that what we've read is that there were eight people that were selected as possibilities to implement these changes in the court. this guy is the only one of the eight that has this background. >> sean: i'm not particularly impressed with this guy.
10:33 pm
you even pointed out this weekend that you needed to look no further. this guy's mind is made up when you look at his twitter feed. he not only went after you, he's gone after the president and as you set as well, that the fbi lied to help make sure this doesn't happen again. i would think if i was a judge and i was lied to and it wases premeditated lien against me to take away someone's civil rights and spy on a presidential candidate, that i would want the truth told to me. >> yeah, so that's why this is going to be important. i think if congress sends a letter to the court and if the court doesn't take action, thenn you know all that you have to know, which means if the judge knows exactly what he's doing, he wanted to get a partisan act to implement these changes, if
10:34 pm
that's the case, it's going to leave us very little choice in terms of reauthorizing fisa 702. >> sean: i don't see thehe urgency. >> well, i think the disappointing thing with director ray is that he knew, john ratcliffe, the things that we were talking about at the time, and they really did nothing to help us. i'd like to see him at some point talk to us about the decisions he made at the time, because a lot of it doesn't make any sense. >> sean: all right, congressman nunes, you told the public the true. it's being called an act of terror. new updates on the shooting of late last year at the naval air station in florida.ct trace gallagher without report. wait until you see the reception
