enough info to decide this case, 44% say there needs to be more witness testimony, i guess my question for you, you're excited about dershowitz, do you think he focuses on facts, or do you think he goes into procedural which would be boring for the nation but could be important when you're trying to prove a case legally? >> yeah, he's going to be focused on legal. it's going to be very dry, i mean, so most are not going to be as excited as i am as an attorney, but it's going to be a great background as to impeachment, the rules, how it's been handled in the past and all of that is going to be consistent with what i expect him to say that this is not impeachable, they can't do this and even if you assume the fact that is the democrats are presenting, that does not result in impeachment. >> that's the key there, even if what the democrats are saying is true, is that even an impeachable offense? >> sure, that's it, like i said there's the bolton story that's going to come out and all over

the press today and going to lead to a push for the democrats to say, we need to subpoena bolton, right, but, again, if you follow the dershowitz plan and model here who cares, even if that story is accurate and impeachable. >> how does this week play out for you and what happens at the end of the week, vote to dismiss or acquit this. there's a difference there? >> the first vote that you'll hear is whether or not they'll have more witnesses or not, i expect a motion, i would hope that they just let it play out instead of going with the motion to dismiss, let it play out, so republicans will get 2 days, they will have two days of presentation, 16 hours of questioning, so the senators will be able to break down questions and then come through chief justice to the witnesses and then day of argument and hopefully the vote on witnesses,

>> given your area of expertise, when you see something like this, what do you think happened? >> right now the key is the weather, that's what i'm concerned with, there was fog reported in the area in the morning, so in that area of calabasas, california, mountainous terrain, fog hugging the ground, heal of thers are notorious for skirting around fog underneath, they have different weather minimums and airplanes, they could remain clear of the clouds and still be legal to fly, they might have perhaps been pushing the minimums too much. >> assumingassuming that kobe b, everybody talked about it, take helicopters to and from, presumably, we don't know this, this pilot has flown with kobe before and therefore flown in southern california and should know the fact that you start kind of low there in orange county and when you get up to mountains in calabasas, there are mountains, there are hills, you need to be aware of that and you mentioned to me when we were off air that this helicopter, sikorsky has the ability to

fight in fog on instrument, was the instruments not working, what -- what is reasoning behind this? >> typically sophisticated has autopilot, instrument approaches, when you're pretty much maneuvering around that one, you're referring to visual references, but, of course, being instrument certified they can push a button and put on auto pilot and the helicopter will hover, the other concerning apparently one pilot on the helicopter, but if i was a passenger i would want two pilots on there because you're talk about a 13 million-dollar machine with lots of avionics. >> the la county sheriffs spoke about the issues that you were mentioning, let's take a listen. >> we do know that there was a issue of visibility and low ceiling, the conditions at the

time of impact, that is still to be determined. we had none operating at the time. >> why? >> because of the weather. >> la county sheriff grounded their helicopters. >> typically helicopters don't have black boxes, however, aftermarket black box that is you could buy as an option, so it is questionable whether the operator of this aircraft would have had that installed after market or as an option, we will have to wait and see on that. >> 10 seconds remaining, what does the debris field tell you? >> you know, it looks like it's in a lot of pieces, impact was very hard to the ground, typically if you have an engine failure, this has 2 engines, probably engine failure is not an issue, normally you might see the tail slice off from main

[speaking in native tongue] carley: doctor, thank you for joining us this morning, what the nurse said f it's true what does that mean for china and the rest of the world? >> the numbers haven't been validated, there may be some truth to it, here in the united states we have 5 cases confirmed, we have no fatalities here in the united states, we should be concerned but i don't think we should panic the alarm, the number one priority and

concern is prevention control and it can start at home, keep your hands washed and clean, avoid rubbing your eyes and nose, stay away from known sick contacts; don't travel to that part of the world right now, if you are sick stay home, but that's one of the biggest things and then, of course, making sure that hospitals, healthcare providers are educated and trained and know what to do if someone comes in with, you know, signs and symptoms of the coronavirus, you know, it could be chest pain, shortness of breath, cough, fever, one of the most important things is strict adherence to, that sort of thing, if someone comes in, i just came from wuhan, china, we will put them in a mask and ice lately them and determine are they at a risk and then follow the cdc and department of health compliance. >> now the u.s. is evacuating citizens and diplomats who were living in wuhan and they'll be flying to san francisco this

week, does that concern you how easily does this virus spread? >> it is -- seems to be very highly contagious and spread very rapidly, looks like the numbers are doubling in china, so -- but what's going to happen anyone that flies back in into the country, they'll be screen, the temperatures will be taken, ask if they have chest pain, shortness of pain, difficulty breathing and they are going to be closely monitored an watch because there's a risk that they may have it and you may not show symptoms for up to 2 weeks later. >> that's right. there's no cure, that means that it has to run its course and hope you survive? >> in this country what we will do, there's no specific cure, no specific vaccine, we will provide supportive care, fluids, hydration, medicine, supportive care, there's a vacdean that's in the works, fortunately there's no -- they are looking at a few months for that to come

out but there's no specific cure right now but the best thing you can do is live a healthy lifestyle, don't smoke, get enough sleep, good diet, pick common sense precautions. carley: a lot can happen now and a few months when the vaccine can come from the market, do we know where the strain originated from? >> yes, this particular strain, the 7 strain of coronavirus it was originated at wet animal market in wuhan china, spread from animal to human and now human to human transmission, someone who may have it who is coughing and sneezing, air borne particles, human to human, it's spreading rapidly like wild fire. carley: not often that a new disease pops up and puts the medical community on its heels, appreciate it. we will be right back.

which quite frankly for most of their adult life has been pretty much out of wack? >> i think they should care, when it comes down to it voters will care about bottom line and incomes have increased, what we have seen in first 3 years of president trump's presidency that the average american household has increase of $5,000 in annual income and it's actually $7,000 of tax cuts that president trump passed earlier this year. i think how this is going to my out, general election matchup between president trump and bernie sanders, remember back last year when bernie sanders try today punch the speed bag and the speed bag popped back and almost knocked him on his butt, that's how this will end up, he can talk about the programs but voters want economic opportunity and they look at the programs that he wants to expand and grow and they know that they are going to have to pay that back.
