security, and just the regional issues including tensions between pakistan and the growing influence of china in that area. we are hoping to bring in the fox news white house correspondent kevin corke, and let's see if he standing by their to summarize. okay, getting to him in just a minute, we don't have them just yet, but talking about what we were hoping to hear from the bilateral meeting that just occurred. we know that trade was going to be front and center in the talks iin the u.s. obviously wants access to the indian market when it comes to poultry, dairy, they also want relief from tariffs on steel and aluminum exports to the u.s. they also, probably, talked about the deal that they mentioned at the large rally yesterday, the $3 billion deal

where india will apply military helicopters from the u.s. and that was a big moment there at the rally yesterday. this is an incredibly important point because china, of course, is expanding the economic clouds in that region and important to bolster security in india. also, pakistan, might've been talked about in the bilateral meeting and find out in just a moment and pakistan, of course, u.s. you know, a few short days is looking to sign a peace deal agreement with the taliban and i believe it happens on the 29th. they want stability in the region with the two nuclear power spots enough pakistan and they want dialogue between the two countries as they get ready to sign the very important peace deal with the taliban and they want everybody on board. some other items that may have been on the agenda, of course,

counter terrorism as i just mentioned, energy security, religious freedom in that region, and again, a proposed deal with delavan. again, watching live pictures from the president's trip to india and canoeing to monitor the situation and bring it back when something happens.

and let's go to fox news white house correspondent kevin corke standing by. kevin, if you can for us, would you please summarize what the two leaders just talked about? >> very briefly, i can tell you that they wrapped up the bilateral conversations without making questions although, i found it very interesting, the president said that he thanked before the overwhelming, he called amazing and welcome to the beautiful country and he mentioned the energy and that sort of duck tales do something that you and i spoke about earlier. we talk about the idea for military aircraft but also, it could involve the energy that could impact the nuclear power center here in india and the president did not go that far but he mentioned energy sector so it maybe it will turn out to may be the case that get something hammered out here this afternoon. they wrapped up a few statements as i mentioned that they did not

take questions but they were both energetic about the price for each other. and do keep an eye for the body language when the two came out to make the statements and i'm curious about who goes first, how they receive each other and because the men are so close and have a great fondness for each other, it might be very interesting as we watch that unfold. lastly, if i might add this very quickly, i was told by her sources coming into the trip to india the president really wanted to reassure the indian government that the u.s. will be a steady hand and are consistent partner as it relates to physical operations and the president can be volatile sometimes if he gets upset about a particular slight that might upset the respect to the relations. i was told by an administration official very carefully that he is steadfast and commitment to the indian people and the government here and i could be
