to endorse a candidate what if he endorses someone and -- what he endorsed bloomberg and bloomberg gets up there and doesn't have a good debate it. makes him look like he picked the wrong person. i don't blame him. over the weekend there were rumors if this does goes to a brokered convention that michelle obama might get in or hillary might jump in. brian: here is a couple things to think about. joe biden had an unbelievable day in south carolina. he proves he has the african-american vote. bernie sanders shows he has almost made no ground in noe four years in the african-american community. number two, the joe biden campaign has no tomorrow. tomorrow is super tuesday. he has had one appearance on california. none in texas. a few in north carolina where he is doing okay. he has got very little money. it's like having a great year at 65. but you have to retire the next year. you haven't saved money the whole way. so, in a lot of the early voting took place already when joe biden was just a gaffe machine who couldn't get out of his own way in nevada, new hampshire, and

iowa. steve: well, joe, as it turns out is going to start his day in texas. is he going to be going all across the country winding up in the great state of california. he did yesterday get the endorsement of tim kaine, former senator. and -- or rather senator from virginia and also terry mcauliff. some of the party leaders, current senator. some of the party elders are coalescing behind mr. biden. i mentioned bloomberg a moment ago. bloomberg doesn't cover the democrats only covers president trump. brian: virginia is a place where bloomberg is actually in second. biden is not even going to get virginia. and first in all these states except north carolina in most of the polls is bernie sanders. so, in case you think that. steve: he is the front runner by far. brian: not only does joe biden not have money he has been a terrible candidate. he has been terrible on the stage his rallies are nonexistent when they do take place they don't draw people. when he does ad-lib they

this if you just put me on the ticket. brian: very interesting. i think she is trying to pair herself with beach. if you are bernie, you look at elizabeth warren, you have the woman card you can check that but you have somebody that is just as left wing as he is. he needs to tell the moderates. i got your back. and that's not putting elizabeth warren there. >> oh, no. that's exactly right. i think biden might b thinking of warren. all these delegates up for grabs. bernie sanders is clearly advantaged. particularly in the west coast states of california and texas according to the polling. what's interesting is those states don't report until early in the night. early in the night you have states like north carolina, alabama, virginia whereby den has a chance. there is a real good chance that biden is going to do okay in those states. we are going to go to sleep thinking biden is having an okay night. when we wake up on "fox & friends" on wednesday we will find out that bernie has swept california. and he could emerge on webs with a huge delegate lead.

people die from the flu than from coronavirus not only in our country but across the planet. steve: apparently the virus may have been spreading for weeks up in washington state. someone came in from one of the hot spots. the first personal i believe to die in the united states. and nobody else really until this high school student or this young person was detected a couple of days ago. there was a six-week lag. is that because for the most part the symptoms are so mild people just thought i have just got a cold? >> well, that's a great point. we had an aggressive stance towards containment initially. where we knew most of the cases were coming from china and that's why the president took an unprecedented step of making sure we restricted travel to those areas. but containment works less well when you start to have community spread, cases of people who weren't exposed to someone who was known to

have confirmation. and that may have been occurring up until now. we will continue to see. but, again, if that was occurring, these cases, yes, they were mild if they were occurring because otherwise we would have seen them. it's important for folks to know going to have a mild illness. stay home for a few days and going to get better. the original 14 people who were diagnosed with coronavirus in the u.s. all are recovered or are recovering, so, again, most folks are going to have a mild illness. people who have co-morbidies, diabetes, heart disease, lung problems and the elderly, we want them to especially take precautions like watching washig their hands and covering their cough especially if they are sick. ainsley: wonder how many people the president prevented from getting sick by implementing that travel ban: >> the time for caution, not the time for panic. ainsley: thanks, dr. adams. >> thank you.

ainsley: democratic frontrunner bernie sanders picking up steam ahead of super tuesday. brian: yep. a new poll shows vermont senator holding a double digital lead in big state called texas. steve: casey stegall joins us live from dallas-fort worth the metroplex. good morning. >> good morning, brian, ainsley and steve. here in the lone star state a lot is up for grabs tomorrow as you know. and the latest nbc marist poll shows that about 34% of the vote tomorrow would go to vermont senator bernie sanders. former vice president joe biden collecting about 19% of the vote. and former new york mayor mike bloomberg with 15%. senator elizabeth warren from massachusetts with 10%. analysts say bernie sanders is polling well with latino voters. and here in texas. that accounts for about 40% of the state's total

population when you look at the census numbers. 228 delegates up for grabs here tomorrow and california has the largest prize, 416 pledged delegates. so the candidates, no doubt, laser-focused on these two states in particular. >> i am here to ask for your support to win on tuesday. let us have the highest voter turnout in california primary history. delegates. obviously a math equation at this point. here is a problem i see though for the others in the field. in any presidential race nationally, and i don't want to just kind of put it in a box, but when you look at it historically, especially over the last decade you see these three lanes emerging, outsider lane, radical lane. the problem in this race the guy running as the outsider buttigieg who never really kind of grasp that label is now out. you say to yourself where do they go? well are they going to go to biden? i'm not really sure? now, when you look at the safe pick, establishment lane, the vote is split. you are going to have bloomberg jump not guilty race on super tuesday and now you have biden there bernie doesn't have that issue with the vote-splitting that biden and bloomberg do. he would have had it with warren if she was putting on a more formidable front but she isn't. simple fractions and simple math. i don't see anyone stopping bernie. can i say one more thing sniffs in a local restaurant in weekend down in florida. and the guy who owns it is a very nice guy.

how are we going to pay for that? >> okay. i am a biden girl or a bloomberg girl. i am not a bernie girl at all. that being said, i want to defeat trump. so i would be a bernie girl if i had to be a bernie girl. i am not for medicare for all at all. i do not think it is going to work. but we have the congress and we have the senate to check that so that will not work. in terms of free colleges that will also not work. we have somebody to check him if he does get in i'm confident of that. ainsley: barbara you are a mom. had you stage three colon cancer. what is important to you. >> healthcare is most important. i'm also single so i have to make sure that healthcare is always going to be affordable. i have a child with a life threatening medical condition, and i have to make sure that i can always take care of my children. and my health. it could bankrupt me if i don't have affordable healthcare and access to medicine for my children. and i think socializing medicine is dangerous.

coronavirus. yours? >> yes. ainsley: what are your thoughts? >> i think it's brand new and anything that is unknown is extremely scary. if they called it flu strain c i think people would be a little bit less panicked. i think the unknown is really scaring people. and 52,000 people on average die of the flu each year i read, which, you know, we are way low below that number. i just think it's really the unknown. but my girlfriend was texting me oh my husband said don't get the masks they don't work. and i think nobody knows what's coming and nobody knows how to prevent it. ainsley: samantha, you have middle school girls. go ahead. >> i had to walk my daughter off the ledge the other day because she is in fear mode. ainsley: what did she say to you. >> mommy are we going to die? i'm so scared? they are going to cab sell school and we are going to be kept in the home? and i might be the only one up here i'm not buying into the fear. i think there is a virus and i think it can be dangerous, but i also believe that when we put our bodies in fear mode, we cause stress in
