bloomberg who so far has spent $620 million and he has not gotten one vote so far. ainsley: the reason it's a super tuesday is because they need 1991 delegates to win the nomination. today up for grabs 1/3 of those, 1357 up for grabs today alone. the biggest state california where 450 delegation up for grabs. brian: i'm sure you understand everything has changed. joe biden just squeaked by a victory. he probably wouldn't have gotten amy klobuchar's support. he probably wouldn't have gotten someone wouldn't have woken up bet beto o'rourke and told him to stand on a counter for joe biden. they probably wouldn't have gotten somebody like mayor pete to give in. such a substantial win and such a fear on the left of the success of bernie sanders it was a five alarm fire to everybody to quickly jump and tell joe biden i'm behind. ainsley: joe biden took the

stage. you have bernie sanders taking the stage with aoc rallying the crowd for him. brian: and ilhan omar. steve: you have to wonder what is happening behind the scenes. they were all in it to win it. i wouldn't be surprised somebody in high ranking capacity probably called them and said look for the good of the party you have to duck out today. brian: does tom perez have that type of power or barack obama or jimmy carter? ainsley: this is politics. don't they do this they say i promise you a position in my cabinet, maybe? steve: all the stuff bernie griff jenkins live in denver. griff? >> hey, ainsley, brian and steve. yeah, here in colorado have you 67 places that's up for grabs and biden is clearly the stop sanders candidate. seeing national endorsements. local endorsements going to

listen going to vote for michael bloomberg mostly because i don't like sanders. >> i'm voting for bernie he is the leading candidate for climate change and care for all. >> i know how socialist stick sanders' views are it's between him and trump. i'm voting trump. >> here in colorado bernie sanders won by 59% in 2016. that was a caucus. now it's a primary. find out how it breaks down. but it's 15% threshold across all 14 of those states. so, if biden or any other candidate, bloomberg, warren can get 15%. they will at least get some of the delegation in states where you are going to expect to see bernie sanders perform well. brian, ainsley, steve? brian: interesting, griff. you have all the candidate that support him and those that don't support him. mike bloomberg did our town hall last night. he is not looking to bow out although he didn't buy any time after super tuesday.

bloomberg takes votes have from biden. how much pressure on mike bloomberg and does he feel the pressure who is a billionaire new to the democratic party and then elizabeth warren. of course i'm a mind meld with bernie sanders but i do abandon my party to do it because bernie sanders is so to the left of what the establishment is doing? steve: and elizabeth warren put out that statement about 48 hours ago where she said this is just one of the phases we are going to go right up to the convention. which is also. if you watch the debate last night on fox or rather town hall with bret and martha. it was exciting not only for the hecklers toward the end, but also where mike bloomberg essentially admitted i'm okay with coming in second or third today. because ultimately we are going to do horse trading at the convention where he will try to steal the nomination from either mr. biden or mr. sanders. ainsley: he doesn't have any delegates. steve: he doesn't. not yet. ainsley: interesting what elizabeth warren will do

president of the united states you get lots of threats. brian: explain his gun control views totally inaccurately. i want background checks i don't want a 12-year-old to get a gun. nobody says a 12-year-old should get a gun there are background checks. he wants something more severe. if you look at what is happening in virginia we all get emails on a regular basis about what they're doing to gun laws there because of mike bloomberg. ainsley: when you hear the comments don't you see the hypocrisy. i'm going to take a. way your gun but i will be protected guy guns. climate control energy independence get rid of planes. yet see candidates fly privately. brian: because they have to get around. we don't have to get around but they have to get around. he was exposed a little bit last night. a lot of things that he did well he has to run from. a lot of things reason why he didn't get in early i would have to apologize for. he got in late in november and then he ended up apologizing and no one is buying the apology. let's see what the democrats

democrats think mike bloomberg he wants a partial victory in some of these states to get some delegation as steve mentioned to get him to relevance at the convention. steve: and the way you wind up with delegation today because they changed the rules as of about four years ago. you have to have the threshold of 15%. so, if you get above 15%, that's going to help you. and then they are divvied out proportionally. the key is for mr. biden. say he was at -- let's say he was at 10% in one particular state and buttigieg might have been at 5% or amy klobuchar might have been at 2. does he wind up with getting those particular voters today and does he go above the 15 and then become relevant in those states that some thought might be a lock shot? ainsley: we will be in so many diners for the next two days. we have our three wonderful guys out there. steve: we are going through

nashville. jillian: breaking overnight at least five people are dead as tornadoes carve a path of destruction in nashville. [siren] jillian: you can see the monster funnel cloud looming over the city. twisters reported in missouri and kentucky. dozens of structures are damaged. gas lines are leaking and power lines are down. nashville schools are closed today as police tell people to stay off the roads there is still a tornado watch in the area janice dean told me that three minutes as. we will keep you updated. three people have now died from coronavirus in washington state. four linked to a seattle area nursing home. more than 100 people have gotten sick across 11 states. the world health organization now warns the world is in unchartered territory as the virus spreads to 90,000 people around the globe. more than 3100 people have died. the pope has reportedly tested negative for the virus. he has cancelled several

ainsley: 2020 democrats hoping to cash in on california this super tuesday. the golden state has the most delegates up for grabs. but making an impact can cost millions william la jeunesse is live in los angeles to break it all down for us. hey, william. >> good morning, ainsley. three things to watch here today. number one, california has that 15% threshold to win any votes. meaning elizabeth warren and michael bloomberg who are both polling right on the cusp could each garner a million votes and still get zero delegates. secondly bernie sanders, he currently leads in all 53 congressional districts. the question is, can he continue to out perform with hispanics like nevada. here they represent 30% of democratic voters and finally, can black voters, 7% to 10% of the electorate here and former hillary moderates keep joe biden competitive or will bloomberg, who key endorsements denied biden those delegates. what do the polls show? "l.a. times" predicts sanders could win half of the state's 415 delegates. others have him at 35%.

races determine not just who wins the congress thyme but ultimately who is in charge the next decade. steve: last 48 hours both pete buttigieg and amy klobuchar made the decision to drop out and coalesce around joe biden the more centrist candidate. who got to him. >> i have got to think there is people like bill clinton, hillary clinton, barack obama maybe. others out there and donors saying in the future someone like mayor pete, even at his announcement the other day some people were shouting 2024. klobuchar still in the senate. they're looking ahead saying if we don't coalesce around and a moderate is really a bit of a stretch. joe biden is a liberal. he is just not a socialist. that's what's at stake in this election. they realize they don't want to seat sucking sound which is democrats losing control not only of the house but losing control of the state legislative bodies across america. steve: ultimately governor, exit question, don't republicans want to run against the democratic communist in your words. >> absolutely. biggest and best contrast not just for this election

we want to set the stage for why freedom is better than socialism. it wins every single time. we got to get that message out, particularly with younger voters. brian: we know that yesterday klobuchar, beto o'rourke, and mayor pete ran to joe biden's side. it's a stunning change of events because they were just a day away from getting the verdict in on super tuesday. and they spent all that money and all that time in all these states. then you look at the one -- bernie, of course, had the squad. but now you have elizabeth warren. i find it fascinating because most of her beliefs are the same as bernie's beliefs. if she adheres to bernie, she has left the so-called mainstream forever. yet, she is about to lose massachusetts to bernie, her own state, the humiliation goes beyond description. so she has a ton of money, too. she says in february they raised $29 million. so the money is allowing her to compete. the question is, does she cut her losses and say bernie is my guy and push back on the series of endorsements yesterday?

back. first off, when it comes to democrats start on their side. bernie sanders if you look at nevada, he has the hispanic vote locked up, how? >> look, bernie sanders has done a good job within the democratic party of appealing 20 working class people. most hispanics fit that category. so he has spoken to the anxiety of working class people. i think all of the solutions are wrong. all of them involve more government rather than more freedom. but i'm not shocked that within that terrible field of radicals in the democratic side he's doing better among democrat latinos than others. brian: beto o'rourke saying joe biden is my man in texas do anything amongst democratic primary voters. >> robert francis owe o'rourke is show up and back whoever he wants. he has no credibility in the hispanic community. we saw that with how quickly his presidential aspirations inflamed out. i don't think he has any effect. brian: vote in 2016, what's changed? >> brian, he shocked the world by the way by getting

30%. i don't want to have a parade by only get a third of the hispanic vote. brian: george w. got 44%. >> i believe we can win the hispanic vote this year and here is why economy. one word answer the economy. opportunity. we hispanics are the most entrepreneurial demographic in america by a long shot. stanford university just did a study over the last 10 years the number of hispanic entrepreneurs in america has grown by 34%. the overall growth non-hispanics 1%. so essentially flat for the rest of america. up 34 % for hispanic americans. it's really part of our d.n.a. it's part of our culture. the entrepreneurial zeal of hispanic community is incredible. it's a gift to america and donald trump, because of tax and regulatory relief, donald trump has unleashed this kind of optimism in hispanic small business community that i believe will translate into votes. brian: by the way, work ethic, too, i would say factors into it as well. >> sure. brian: look at the remain in mexico policy. they are building the wall.

steve: fox news alert. at least 9 people are dead after tornadoes, two of them, slammed into tennessee in the wee hours of the day. ainsley: in a matter of seconds lives were changed. as the sun is coming up we are seeing incredible damage. brian: grady trembell live in nashville, looks like there's debris everywhere. >> there is, there's power outages in this area. power lines down right here. just behind it, take a look at the building. this is a u-haul facility. they are trucks thrown all over the parking lot. the building itself is destroyed. we talked to the owner this morning fortunately because the tornadoes move through around 1:00 o'clock in the middle of the night nobody was here but look at the truck toppled right on its side over there.

and then over in this direction, i mentioned those utility polls that are down. this one just snapped right here and fell on to the truck and then in the distance you can see the skyline of downtown nashville as the tornadoes moved in, we saw videos people took from high-rises in downtown nashville. the lighting lighting up the tornadoes as they moved through this area. you mentioned 9 people at least killed in this tornado or the two tornadoes and cruise are still assessing the damage this morning. it's only been sunlight for about 90 minutes, an hour and and a half out here. they are still trying to figure out what kind of damage they are dealing with. obviously a gas station like that empty in the middle of the night, but would can be filled with people if this happened at any other time. i want to mention there was super tuesday and a lot of people planning to go to the polls today. there's polling location that is have damage and now the election commission is trying to shift

people who can't make it to their polling locations to other locations. obviously with the the power outages, roads like this one shut down, it's going to be extremely difficult for people to make their way around nashville this morning. as we said we are minutes away from downtown and severe damage right here in nashville, guys. steve: just be careful with the wires down everywhere grady. thank you very much for live report from nashville. janice: so devastating. the sun is coming out, we will see the scope of devastating damage and i feel a feeling we will see death tolls go up. overnight last night that's when the tornadoes struck when people were sleeping. not a lot of advanced notice. we had watches in effect around 11:00 p.m. at least and some sof the tornadoes striking around 1:00 a.m. that's why we always have radio on for the latest of what's going on. this is nashville, obviously, the area that we are focusing in

on because it is the most heavily populated and we think at least ef3 damage if not more. past 24 hours, the worst of the storm system is moving east ward although we still have chance for severe storms and flooding in the next 12 to 24 hours. i also want to point your attention to another super tuesday state, that would be alabama including the city of montgomery where we have a tornado watch. meaning conditions are favorable for tornadoes, so a watch until 11:00 a.m. central time. so the risk is not over yet. not only tennessee as well as alabama, but we have another super tuesday state texas that could see potential for severe storms as well. so here is your severe threat today for parts of texas and then tomorrow moving into the gulf coast states but obviously our hearts and prayers are in nashville where we are just starting to see the damage. i mean, i'm so glad that there weren't kids in school because some schools are completely destroyed, however, because it
