with thousands of passengers for days. rob: aishah hasnie is live in the studio with what will happen next. >> california's governor stressing that his team still doesn't know exactly when the grand princess cruise ship will dock in oakland. but it should happen today. there are more than 20 confirmed cases on-board, passengers who need medical attention will be the ones to get off first. the coast guard has already medivaced a second passenger with a medical condition not related to the coronavirus. the others on board will go to military posts for testing and a 14-day quarantine and then they're getting ready for isolation. >> they gave us last night a mental health form for those on the ship that are having difficulties dealing with the stress of being kind of locked down. >> we've got at least a half a bottle of wine left for today.

>> this is happening as a lawsuit is filed alleging the princess cruise liner knew someone from a previous ship was showing coronavirus symptoms yet made the conscious decision to continue sailing the voyage that same day, welcoming another 3,000 passengers on the infected ship. the state department is now warning folks out there, especially those with underlying health conditions, not to get on a cruise. and things are getting worse at the washington state nursing home at the center of an outbreak. three new deaths there, that's on top of at least 13 deaths so far linked to the same facility. the center's spokesman says they're in triage mode, confirming 70 employees there are sick as four more residents are hospitalized. >> we've had patients who within an hour's time show no symptoms to going to acute symptoms and being transferred to the hospital. we've had patients die relatively quickly under those

circumstances. >> and get this, guys, the bill and melinda gates foundation reportedly offering thousands of home testing kits to people who suspect they have the coronavirus in the seattle area. rob, jillian. rob: to politics now, joe biden and bernie sanders prepare to battle it out on mini super tuesday. jillian: the candidates eyeing primaries in six states but the top prize is delegate-heavy michigan. todd piro joins us now to break it all down. hi, todd. >> reporter: good morning to both of you. an intense weekend of campaigning, trying to win votes in a handful of states. none more important than michigan, like you said, with its 125 delegates up for grabs. other states with contests include idaho, mississippi, missouri, north dakota and washington state. sanders laser focused on michigan, appearing there with allalexandria ocasio-cortez and getting an endorsement from the reverend jesse jackson.

>> i'm feeling good about the momentum that we have. i think we're going to do well on tuesday and i think we're going to beat biden. >> beat biden in michigan? >> yes, i do, yeah. >> reporter: biden, fresh off his super tuesday success in the south, back at it there with a push in mississippi over the weekend. the former vp getting key endorsements including from former presidential candidate and current california senator kamala harris who went hard after biden in the debates. some pundits even predicting harris as his vp if he gets the nomination. despite his recent success at the ballot box, yet even more gaffes. >> nominate a democrat, a life-long democrat, an obama, biden democrat. we cannot get reelect -- we cannot win this re-election -- excuse me. we can only reelect donald trump if in fact we get engaged in this circular firing squad. >> reporter: unclear if biden's

gaffes will come up when bernie sanders takes part in a fox news townhall tonight in detroit, moderated by brett and martha 6:30 p.m. eastern. that's 6:30 p.m. tonight,. rob: so tomorrow at 2:00. i can't wait for that. todd, thank you so much. >> reporter: no republican. rob: the dnc is shutting bernie sanders out of the nomination after kamala harris' endorsement. jillian: kevin mccarthy says it's a bad move because he says biden is a place holder candidate. >> remember what they did to bernie sanders four years ago. the chair of the democratic party had to resign because they found out they were cheating. nancy pelosi held the papers and impeachment not to go to the senate so senators couldn't campaign to give an advantage to joe biden. they've got klobuchar to back out and buttigieg to endorse beforehand. the one thing they have to understand, looking back as a republican, nominating joe

biden, it's the same thing as republicans nominating mitt romney. it may make the establishment feel good but you have no chance of winning. rob: the biggest prize of tomorrow's primaries, michigan, with 125 delegates, the latest poll from mitchell research released just yesterday shows biden with a very healthy lead. jillian: north korea lawn offing at least three projectiles in the second weapons test this week. the projectiles believed to basketball liss -- ballistic missiles. this comes two days after north korea threatened, quote, mow mes tuss action against those who reject their military drills. rob: police are asking for the help of the public after a 13-year-old is shot and killed outside a dance studio. five other teenagers were wounded when a fight broke out

in baltimore. police say the shooter or shooters are on the run. they're interviewing witnesses and looking at surveillance video from the area. jillian: hundred trends gather for search services in memory of a missing colorado boy. family and friends honored him by wearing his favorite color, blue many he disappeared from his home in january. officials don't believe he is alive but his body has not been found. his stepmother is charged with murder. rob: days after a tornado destroyed their church, worshipers holding sunday services among the rubble. ♪ rob: you see it there, the national church setting up a at any time in the parking lot to pray after a tornado ripped off the roofs of two church buildings last week. despite the devastation, the community's faith does remain strong.

>> we relied on common sense and good diswill towards our community to self quarantine. the patient's father did not act with respect to the decision. they will be required to stay in their home by force of law. rob: the family of missouri's first coronavirus patient breaking quarantine to attend a father/daughter dance, potentially putting hundreds of others in jeopardy. jillian: how dangerous when protocols are not followed. dr. sapphire join us to explain. thank you for being here. there's a quarantine procedure for a reason, right? >> just to recap, right now over the past weekend over 100,000 cases worldwide, 3,000 deaths. most of the cases that are symptomatic, 80 some odd percent

will be mildly symptomatic. what we saw in china where most of the cases are, they're making great strides in terms of containing the spread by instituting fundamental principles of health care policy, which is if you're quarantined, if you're identified as someone that has the illness, if you limit your exposure, you're going to limit the spread. it's a very contagious disease, similar to if you have a school age child and they have a runny nose or fever, you have to keep them home from school. why? it's not just better for them, but you keep it from spreading to other kids. rob: in china and italy they're trying to lock down 16 million people. you've got a disease in a city like new york city where everybody's touching everything. people wonder is it only a matter of time before something like that happens here. >> it's a great question. i don't think we know exactly what's the best way to contain this virus. i don't think locking down 16 million people is necessarily the answer. a lot of other people have spoken about this as well. what we realize is if there's

uncontrolled spread, maybe you have to institute draconian measures and shut down everything. what's better is to understand how this virus spreads, understand how it communicates from one person to the next and limit the exposure and really kind of contain and control the virus. jillian: back to what we were talking about with the family member of a patient in missouri going to this father/daughter dance, there's a statement from the school and it reads, quote, there were two members of the family of the coronavirus at the dance last night. if you attended the dance, be attentive to any symptoms you're experiencing. broader man missouri -- than missouri, there are people that travel for work or have trips planned and you're nervous if you may have come in contact with somebody. what do you do? do you go to your primary? how do you handle that? >> anyone that wants to get tested certainly can. that's available for individuals.

but common sense things. we need to limit our own exposure. if you institute better hand watching principles, avoid touching your space, avoid touching surfaces, avoid individuals that look sick. if you're demonstrating symptoms, contact your primary care doctor and discuss with them, see if you should be tested. jillian: i saw people on the plane yesterday with masks and gloves too. rob: a lot of people are freaking out. your politics might affect what you think about this disease and your rate of risk here. let's look at a poll of americans, talking about if you're a democrat it appears you're a lot more worried about this. you consider 38% of democrats consider it an imminent threat, republicans about 20%. let's listen to some of the media talking about this virus. >> the president's desire to artificially keep the numbers low, impacting health decisions to help save these americans who have coronavirus. >> the federal government and trump administration have

completely failed. we are weeks and weeks behind the heart of this entire story politically, people don't know if they can trust what the president is saying. rob: don't they say it doesn't do good to panic, why freak everybody out and cause damage that way? >> i don't think we need to absolutely panic about this. i think we need to be rational. right now, the projected mortality rate of this virus is probably going to be significantly lower than what we expect because there's going to be so many people out there that are -- that have the virus but are either mild or asymptomatic and they don't get tested. we're looking at projected mortality that hovers around less than 1%. rob: you think even though there's 100,000 cases around there, there's probably a lot more. 3,000 have died. >> correct. jillian: how far are we from a vaccine do you think realistically? >> that's hard to say. a lot of it depends on how much the virus mutates. we need to get a pulse on the

neither lawmaker said they are showing symptoms of the virus. ted cruz's office said the odds of transmission from the other individual to me were extremely low. cpac organizers say the risk to other attendees also remains low. >> i want to reiterate, nobody who was at the conference should panic about what happened. we're going to take all the necessary steps. >> reporter: meantime, fox news learned congress is preparing for the possibility of having to tele-work because of the virus. later today the house is expected to begin work on preparing the infrastructure that would be needed for such a scenario. nancy pelosi and chuck schumer are criticizing president trump over his handling of the health crisis. the two lawmakers putting out a statement on sunday, writing, quote, the administration must move more quickly to address the serious impacts of the coronavirus on the financial security of america's families. senator bernie sanders weighing in on the health crisis, writing

once a vaccine for coronavirus is developed it should be free. schumer and pelosi went on to say that democrats want to see americans get help when it comes for the government expanding programs like paid sick leave and food stamps. back to you guys. jillian: thank you. now to this story that we're following, hillary clinton takes a dig at her former viral, bernie sanders. and she weighs in on the 2020 election and vp picks. >> i will support the nominee of the democratic party. i do not think he's our strongest nominee against donald trump. >> is that an endorsement of joe biden? >> i'm not endorsing. personally i'd love to have a woman on the ticket, finally, again. jillian: clinton says she hopes sanders' supporters will back joe biden if he is the nominee. bernie sanders' campaign is accusing joe biden of pushing for a sit-down format at the next presidential debate. politico reporting sanders' campaign complained about the request during a call with cnn

martin and m usta fa hamid. the biggest one is michigan tomorrow. what happens tomorrow if bernie sanders loses the state of michigan? >> i think he is likely to lose the state of michigan. joe biden's consolidating the democratic support across the country. you saw that in early -- super tuesday states and you're likely to see that again, even more so coming into michigan and beyond. rob: jenny beth, what do you think, if bernie loses in michigan, loses four or five of these states, is he finished? >> well, i think the democrat establishment prefers joe biden and i think that biden's going to continue to rack up delegates no matter what happens. so i do think that bernie sanders, unless he does really well tomorrow, and he won four of the six seats two years ago,

he's going to be in trouble. rob: okay. let's move on to some of the -- what's going to happen in the general. let's assume joe biden wins here, here's some of the campaign attacks we're likely to see from the president, trade, health care, fitness for office when going after joe biden. i want to focus on trade for a second. the president is going to say here's a guy who has been in washington for 30, 40 years and stood by as the country like china ravaged the united states and he's going to say that to these rust belt voters and he thierchtiothierntion he can win- thinks question win on that what do you glieng the president's trade war didn't help the rust belt a whole lot and the handling and mishandling of the coronavirus is impacting the economy. the president doesn't have a good case anymore many he inherited a good economy from barack obama. since then, mistake after mistake brought us to this point. the economy is starting to deutsche bank. rob: let's -- is starting to tank. rob: we saw a lot of jobs in

these states decembe decimated a country like china. republicans and democrats stood by and let that happen and the president said he's not going to let that happen anymore. >> a lot of it's automation that has done that. the president makes the claim that all the jobs went overseas. there's no nuance for donald trump. his way doesn't work. rob: let's talk about black support. joe biden, clearly, if we look at this number here, 58% african american support for joe biden on super tuesday to bernie sanders' 17%. how does bernie turn this thing around? >> i think that bernie sanders would have to be able to turn it around by getting people to like his policies more. and i think that even on the democrats' side, what we're seeing is america's not a socialist country. so i think that those kind of policies are not winning no matter who you are and no matter
