some doctors don't believe hospitals have enough beds, medicare and medicaid administrator seema verma would not say hospitals are equipped, told martha maccallum the priority is getting the tests out there. >> one of the things that is already available at every public health laboratory across the nation, these tests are available. we are working on increasing the capacity in the private healthcare system. most of us don't go to a public health lab, you are used to going to your doctor's office. jillian: the new study revealed the virus can remain in the air for up to three hours and can live on surfaces like plastic or steel for up to three days. the flu virus can only survive on the surfaces for about 48 hours. those closures continue. new york's broadway going dark as is disney world and in the land closed to the end of march.

rob: really weird, everything changing really fast. jillian: drive-through coronavirus testing facilities opening in that new york town declared a containment zone. governor andrew cuomo declaring the system in new rochelle, the most infected area with 148 coronavirus cases, people in quarantine will be tested first. national guard troops are delivering food and cleaning buildings to contain the deadly virus. rob: justin trudeau is in self quarantine after his wife tested positive for coronavirus. she came home from a conference in britain with flulike symptoms. trudeau said the symptoms are mild and she is doing fine. he is not showing any symptoms but will work at home for two weeks as a precaution. jillian: the us wanted airstrikes in iraq one day after a deadly missile attack on coalition troops. two americans and one british

servicemember were killed by the rockets fired from this truck outside baghdad. fox news contributor and retired bomb technician joey jones echoing a statement from the pentagon that attacks on us troops will not be tolerated. >> the policy is if you kill americans you will pay the price. that is how he carried this out with multiple defense secretaries over a few years of a presidency. jillian: americans killed in the rocket attack have not been identified. rob: chelsea manning, a federal judge due to be released from jail after a suicide attempt. the army intelligence analyst has been in jail since may for refusing to testify before a grand jury that is investigating. the grand jury has been disbanded. manning was found guilty for declassified documents to wikileaks. president obama commuted the sentence in 2017. jillian: a senate standoff means

clients, your customers, get a relationship building moment where everyone is doing the same thing. jillian: sorry to interject. there are a lot of people faced with a difficult decision of having to close their businesses and not having enough money to pay their employees who have to take sick or vacation time and you have nothing the rest of the year. >> there is positivity here, sometimes pain creates the greatest growth, the government is doing what they can in terms of financial systems, hoping congress will help over the next couple weeks, do things, the federal reserve put a lot of liquidity in the market. rob: if we look at the numbers, if you see what happened yesterday, were stations 87, down 2300 points, throwing money at this, dumping this liquidity into it is not helping. it is not helping at all. dropping rates didn't help. what will help?

>> it is not a financial problem. this is an animal spirits problem. we were incredibly positive, thank god we are in a position the economy was strong going into this. it will be strong again. you can't best against american or the world. we can do with the president of the other night and be united and treat this as an opportunity for growth financially, emotionally. i am working with home, spend more time with my family. a real opportunity for change to be good for the rest of our lives. jillian: the uncertainty of this virus, not knowing how long it will last, who it will affect, how bad it is going to get before it gets better. no one knows how long it will be until the markets get better and people can afford to pay their employees and get back to work after this is done. that is the fear. >> uncertainty is so painful. as a philosopher said, life is

we practice the social distancing and what is behind quarantine, we want to encourage families to keep their kids at home and make it almost a challenge or playful time, to spend a little more time with the family. we are not going to do a ton of meeting your friends at the mall. we need to encourage that since we have gone that far. rob: if you want to talk to your kids, break this down by age. you start age 5 or 6. and you want to tell them what? it is a bug and remind them. >> give them what they can handle or what they are asking about. you had the stomach flu or sore throat and you are going to be okay but we want to keep the germ from spreading and talk about the only thing we know you can do, wash your hands. jillian: if they are a couple years old you can give them more detail.

>> give them more information so they understand. they perceive we are all a little anxious. they pick up on that. the less news you give them the more worried they will be. people like the doctors, scientists, will help us, we will take care of this. rob: in the preteen years 10 to 13 years old this is where they have an understanding, they could freak out about this. >> i have had a lot of kids the last few days that are a little worried. what is happening? you are telling us not to worry. the most important thing, scientific facts like let's look at this. it is not hitting younger populations. it is prevalent age 6 beyond. most people diagnosed are 80% are fine, they get through it pretty quickly. it is important to give science to those who can understand it.

jillian: the bottom line is teaching your children how they can protect themselves. the most important thing again that we can do is we have already seen incidents of flu being lowered because people are washing their hands more. that is something we can learn. jillian: if you notice people coughing or sneezing, social distancing, stay away, clean and disinfect your surfaces. you talked about your phones and tablets. the importance of keeping everything clean. >> another important thing is doorknobs and handles. somebody is always reaching for. rob: even though -- you've got to be careful because you could give it to grandma. >> kids will get nervous about their grandparents. what are we going to do? remind them let's keep them at home and settle down right now. jillian: thank you. great advice.

instagram post. he says the first and most important thing is i would like to publicly apologize to people i may have endangered. i had no idea i was infected. i was careless and make no excuse was he is owning up to his actions but his prank not playing well on social media, carelessness had nothing to do with it, willful ignorance and arrogance is more like it. a pretty good idea, he should donate his salary to the arena workers that cannot work. a lot of hourly workers are out of a job. rob: in the last 36 hours we have seen a big rush on grocery stores. carley: empty store shelves, empty airports a lot of people posting pictures on social media. we know what people are and aren't buying, melanie tweets food stores should take this is an opportunity to see what consumers choose preparing for self quarantine.
