landscaping business who can't cut lawns. the reality is i appreciate the governor safety first and foremost but what is the entry plan? what is it for these individuals who have the uncertainty as well as the gridlock? that is what they are going to do today, they are passionate about their cause and their freedoms and they are concerned the governor is not giving them any information and they are going out to find that information themselves. rob: they mandated you can't go to a friend's house and hang out, that was an overreach by a lot of standards. some supplies you can't buy at some stores that are even open. what are the things she has gone too far with? >> something she has to reconsider is you don't allow someone to go into a 50,000 square-foot box store like lowes or home depot and take off

offering incentives to do that with carnival cruise lines offering 600,$000 in additional travel credits for future travel. there has been a suspension of sales in mid-march that was supposed to last 30 days and extended 100 days. we are looking at june or july. if you just want your money back contact the cruise line, many have those refunds. rob: maybe never go again. let's talk about college tuition here. a lot of students were sent home in march. what should they do? >> a lot of% home but most colleges and universities are not doing tuition free, they are doing education online. it varied from school to school. you should check with your individual university, if you get additional support mostly

what we are seeing is a refund on housing and dining on campus, applying that to future payments for next year and if students are not returning they can apply that to tuition fees they have outstanding with the university. rob: you've got to feel for people who had a wedding planned this spring or the summer. what should they do? >> a wedding is one of the toughest challenges, not only disappointment but going through these. what contract they with various vendors, you have to look at what you find. in many cases you work with vendors to apply that to future date and if you have event insurance, you may be eligible to refund that way as well, many insurance companies are putting positive in place or not

allowing for any delays but you might be able to get a refund. rob: the gym might be closed for a wild. >> most national chains have subscriptions on the accounts that this is something you want to monitor. once they reopen, they qualify as membership. what you will want to do is try to contact the gym, understand the suspension policy. if you plan to return to the gym don't cancel entirely because you may rejoin. as a last resort, you can do that with your bank account, there could be something in your contract that says you're not allowed to cancel due to temporary closures. rob: appreciate your time, good tips there.

what are you expecting as far as the timeline? >> we can on the genetic makeup since january, the first human testing began on vaccine development in the middle of march. over 150 vaccine candidates, 73 moving ahead. this will be the race of the century and we will find there will be more than one vaccine developed. it could be live and they could be attenuated which means different levels of viral content to trigger an antibody reaction and we will have different vaccine strategies depending on the people and underlying risk factors that need the vaccine. it is an optimistic outlook but a vaccine will not be released until it is known to be safe. and infections like ebola, this is not beyond that.

limited social contact, and you use a facemask there's not going to be a high amount of virus. jillian: will we be social distancing until we get the vaccine? >> we will be doing many strategies, social distancing is one of them. rotating office workers to reduce office density is another, using hand hygiene, using facemasks, this is with us for a while but will have additional benefits which we will see fewer influenza outbreaks, so many gains, this is with us for a while but it is not going to be this scale. pandemics come in one tsunami and have successive waves that come later on. we will be better prepared. rob: we appreciate having you on and we will be right back. >> miss you both.
