we just have to be a bit more careful going into this next cold and flu season. >> tucker:d sounds like good advice. thank you for joining usus ton tonight. appreciate it. >> thanks, tucker. >> tucker: there is a lot going on, which we can go on forever but it's been an hour. sean hannity takes over right now. >> sean: great show. congratulations to dr. safire. i'm reading her new book. it's awesome. a smart book. we can learn a lot. thank you, sir. welcome to "hannity" tonight. many americans desperately looking for ways to rebuild their lives, they want to get back to their jobs, reopen businesses in us a responsible way. they wantt to protect others. others have been working -- nonstop around the clock, they have been keeping this country going. there has been no shutdown of american farmers or those packers, or are great truckers, or the manufacturers g of medicl equipment, or those who have been stalking grocery stores at

the epicenter of new york, long island, they will never be reopening. why? they never shot shut down. they were our lifeline, for the american people in an hour of real need. they stepped up, they are inspiring are incredible. they have been feeding us, logistically helping all of our hospitals and brave medical staff with all the safety equipment they desperately needed in time, they got them. one example, 40 american employees volunteered last 28 days, they volunteered to live and stay at their worksite working daynd and working all night, every day. at the factory, what were they doing? desperately needed supplies for n95 masks for medical workers. incredible story. thank you for all you do.e the vast majority of americans tirelessly working hard to get this country and their lives back on track, sadly,

predictable people. democrats, their allies, their state run media mob gleefully looking for ways to politically bludgeon president trump. same repulsive people as usual who spend a lot of time on them right now. some on the left publicly now are stating a desire to use the national emergency and the pandemic is an opportunitysi for them to reshape america into a far left green new deal socialist utopia. recently, the ever confused joe biden, remember, he was running for president. held a fund-raiser. during that fund-raiser, high dollar donors, "because of this covid crisis, people are realizing, my lord, look at what is possible, look at the institutional changes that we could make." and he said he was "excited by the opportunity." one is the kind of institutional change the ever forgetful joe is

lifeblood of the world's economy in spite of your fantasy. about ten years, 12 years from now. to that end, she's calling for the workers of the world to unite. she wants them to boycott working. another genius idea, isn't it? you can't in the middle of a national emergency even make this stuff up. it's there for the viewing. take a look. >> when we talk about this idea of reopening society, only in america does the president, one the president tweets about liberation, does he mean go back to work. when we have this discussion about going back or reopening, i think a lot of people should just say no. we are not going back to. that. we are not going back to working 7070 hour weeks just so that we can put food on the table and not even feel any sort of semblance of security in our lives. >> sean: she's not working 70 hours a week. nancy pelosi has everybody home

we are trying to get the country up and running again. many on the left, mob media trying to use coronavirus as what is a cold calculated political weapon to advance their radical agenda. over the past several months, they have used it of course the bludgeon president trump. of course, he's a racist, xenophobic, pure monger, accused him up pretty much killing americans. policy using the emergency government relief package asen a personal piggy bank for her favorite liberal causes, withholding money for hospitals and workers and small business and large business. soll she can get $150 million fm the national endowment for the arts and15 humanities, 25 millin for the kennedy performing arts center, 75,000,004 national propaganda radio. she attempted to change election immigration laws on top of it. workers were waiting, needed the help. for the past week, she has been held up, held up funding for the

10:09 pm
pelosi needs to get on her big carbon footprint private jet, she can bring her designer ice cream and her big expense in freezer with her. she doesn't want to bring it, i will mail it for her, find their way. get back to washington. she needs to get back to work passing coronavirus legislation, business for the country because everyone else is working for the farmer iswo farmer, packers are packing, the guys in new york, long island, they are stocking the shelves, the medicines are here, the health care equipment is being made and sent also. here now, house minority leader kevin mccarthy is with us. you wrote her a letter. hany response yet? >> i didsp have a response. she called me today, we had in our conversation. some positive -- b 1 you talk >> sean: you talk about your favorite ice cream? >> republicans for the last few weeks wanted to replenish the

funding for small business and their employees and she was more interested inhe restocking that gourmet ice cream. that's the difference. when you talk about joe biting wanting to restructure, remember who saved joe biden. congressman clyburn. came and endorsed him, same him, turned to the all campaign around, remember what he said, he's the third ranking democrat out there. he said, coronavirus is a perfect opportunity to restructure government in their view. it's just how you lay out one after the other after the other. why this president was concerned about saving america, these democrats and pelosi have only been concerned about impeachment, investigation, and ice cream. >> sean:re this is something. also preplanned temper tantrums where the president giving the state of the union address, we've got to preripped the paper is so are preplanned made for camera tv tantrum goes well and don't get embarrassed. focused on that while the president was talking about corona.
10:11 pm
she was impeaching the president while the president was puttingi in place the travel ban and the quarantine and subsequent travel bans and taking it seriously only ten days after the first case of corona in america and february 24th, correct me if i'm wrong, wasn't that her in chinatown in san francisco -- >> letting everybody know. >> sean: almost as good as "the new york times."ro >> it took joe biden two months to realize it was a good idea to stop those flights from china coming to america. >> sean: gave him credit. two months in three days later than donald trump and he himself i guess by his own definition is a xenophobic, hysterical fear monger, and racist. >> yeah. but his son hired by the chinese, not sure. but we did have goodd progress. i sent a letter to the speaker because congress is essential. we need to be working. what is her plan as speaker of
10:12 pm
the house to get congress up working again. like states and governors doing today, they aren't opening up the entire state at once, they are opening sections in phases. we can open up committees, we can do it safely, we can have certain committees meet, not all ofin them so all members don't have to be back here and they can meet in the auditorium so they can have space, social distancing and others for their's critical work to be done. national defense, we have the nda bill. oversights should be doing? they should be investigating the world health organization telling everybody when president from stopping those planes fromry coming in that it doesn't transfer from human to human. those are the things which should we be spending more money there or spending money on americans keeping them healthy? >> sean: a lot of conservatives including myself, steve moore, mark levin, people putting me outside of the loopy are getting very concerned about the amount of money. it's a lot of money here.
10:13 pm
we've got to open the economy, open up the country. remember, the only reason new york survived is because the economy, these people didn't stay out of work. the farmers, packers, truck drivers, et cetera, and those manufacturing the medical equipment so desperately needed in a timely fashion which god bless our american workers, they delivered. so the question becomes, okay, how quickly can we open the country safely, and at what point the republicans say we will only pass covid-19 monies period, no more waste, fraud, and abuse. and at what point do we say, okay, we've got to open the country. we cannot afford this debt? >> you know what? we are saying this now. every great society that collapsed, they collapsed when they overextended themselves. we have passed tremendous amounts of trillions of dollars. let's let that get into the economy. more importantly, let's start opening this up in a safe manner.
10:14 pm
tomorrow at about 8:30, you are going to get the unemployment numbers, the pelosi unemployment numbers for the last week because she held this up for a week. for the small businesses that were going to get money to actually pay their employees, that's the number will get tomorrow. what republicans are doing today, let's hope in congress a phase and let's be smart about we are not exactly the same in every part of the country. if someone is more vulnerable, older age, they should stay home. we could monitor individuals if they become a hot spot. let's quarantine them as we go forward. improving on testing where we are going each and every day. remember, governor cuomo complaining about the ventilators when he found that heng had 2,000 below, now he's giving them to other states. this president was able to build hospitals, stop flights from coming in. instead of just criticizing others, he's been working in solving this problem. >> sean: biggest, fastest
10:15 pm
medical mobilization in history and lives were saved as a result of early decision-making, the president's travel ban was prettyth amazing, incalculable w many lives were probably saved here. leader mccarthy, thank you. while top democrats, they try to use the virus to fundamentally reshape american life forever and expressing it publicly, concerns are also being raised b over some actions taken by state and local officials. some are now being accused of using harsh, draconian measures to fight covid-19 think everyone safe does have to be a top priority. medical privacy, civil liberties, or constitution also has to be maintained. our attorney general is bowing to take action if things go overboard. reports iner connecticut today that the state is testing drones that will check resident sponsor's temperature is from 190 feet away. in new york, first responders actually issued a blanket do not resuscitate order for all

patients without a pulse. in other words, you go into cardiac arrest, on the way to the hospital, your heart stops, that's it, you're done. it so s happens three or four ot of every hundred people recovered. now the order is to let them die? that was until those first responders spoke out loudly and after widespread condemnation, the state officials had to resend that order thankfully. some father will live. so mother will live as a resold. in new york, the ever ruthless, defazio, doing what a good radical socialist democrat will do, and a text line to snitch on their friends and family members who are not adhering to his strict social distancing mandate. it's called a snitch line, subsequently it's been inundated. got to give a lot of credit to people of new york city. pictures, middle fingers, pornographic selfies, and images

of the blah zero himself killing a groundhog on groundhog day. despite his error, lack of failures, the federal government bailed him out, president trump bailed him out. all the ventilators he should've ordered, all the emergency hospitals and staff hospitals and the hospital navy ship, they were sent to new york city. that was courtesy of donald trump who double de blasio said drop-dead, went all in for new york because you did not. we are now seeing finally not fast enough, but a precipitous decline in the virus and even now the death count is going lower but not low enough. it won't be low enough until it's zero. meanwhile, state of florida, a state i personally worried a lot about, they have a very high concentration of older americans, the disease is
10:18 pm
showing big signs of levelingg off there. of course, the state never reach the same kind of outbreak levels as new york, new jersey in part because of geographic size et cetera, but in fact florida is faring way better. let's take a look at the state of michigan and florida has less than a third of the hospitalization rates, they have a fourth of the icu patients per 100,000 residents, and look at your screen. a significantly lower death rate. look s at that. keep in mind, florida is home to roughly 3.5 million more seniors than michigan expect if you if you listen to the media mob, michigan's democratic governor being touted as a possible running mate for the ever forgetful joe, florida's republican governor doing everything wrong. numbers don't actually like, do they? more with what's a story as is the florida governor ron desantis. let me make your case, we'll put
10:19 pm
the slides on the screen. i will be honest, governor, i was critically worried about the state of florida. i've been to the villages. i have a place in south florida and i've been down there, and a lot of old people down there for that's where they retire. you have a very high elderly population. how did you do this because i think florida would have been one of the worst hit states. >> people were predicting us to be worse than new york, like another italy. they said this week one of the newspaper is in florida saidws we'd have 464,000 people hospitalized. the actual number is 2200. so we beat that by 462,000. but what we did very early was focused on the populations who were most at risk as you mentioned, our senior citizens and particularly our nursing homes and assisted living facilities. we. we instituted screenings for all staff immediately, we stopped
10:20 pm
visitations, we required all staffs to where n95 masks, i charge the national guard with doing strike teams to do spot testing at the facilities to try to figure out if any of the staff were asymptomatic. whenever there was an incident at the nursing home, we sent these quick response teams to go to limit the infection and so we are focused on a laser. we point out, sean, almost 6 million masks just to our nursing homes and assisted living facilities. we understood the risk that this posed to the senior population. we worked with the villages constructively on social distancing. here's the thing, you don't have to be draconian. at the villages, they are playing golf like they always do what they're doing it with social distancing, they don't share a card with anyone, they don't share the flagstick's through the president it's been a team effort in we workvery good with the local
10:21 pm
governments as well. we still have more work to do, but clearly we've done way better than all the experts said we wanted and i think we did it on a smart data-driven approach. >> sean: the villages, i've been there. it's america's friendliest hometown. they do a lot of drinking, they eat dinner, they can play golf, tennis, pickle ball, whatever that sport, don't even know anything about. thankfully it seems like you went right at the most vulnerable population and that's where you put your biggest efforts, and it has paid off. one other thing i noticed that you are saying and maybe we can learn something from this is that you are telling people go outside and get some sun. don't hide in your house. that was interesting to me.se you did open up beaches. >> people would play golf with social distancing. they would fish come and go out on boats. not having big parties. they are maintaining social
10:22 pm
businesses, sitting inside eating chinos and watching netflix, that's not great. we respect people, they did it the right way. these. ricardian orders, i do nt think they work throughout the country. >> sean: we've got to take a look at where these worked, and you were state was the most vulnerable. these numbers are amazing. great work. thanks for saving america's elderly for the greatest generation and in between. amazing people. keep up the good work, governor. keep us updated on that. coming up, new report reveals china purposely spreading misinformation still about the coronavirus. we will explain to you the devious reason why they are doing this and also, dennis miller, i hope you have a sense of humor. you've got to laugh a little. going to laugh about the not going to laugh about the virus but got to get some of those endorphins moving.ai dopamine in our brains will hopefully make us feel a little
10:27 pm
>> sean: all right. beijing ramping up its effort to sow division amongst americans. get this, a new report, fake text messages, social media posts about national lockdown ordered by the president were amplified by chinese operatives in an apparent effort to widen deep political polarization in the u.s. it's just like we have been saying and i guess the person way ahead of the curve warning about china was president trump. china needs to be held accountable for their lives, for there to see it, for their cover up, for their endless propaganda and division they are trying to create here. china, they restricted travel
10:28 pm
inside of their own country either in an in and out of wuhan province cummaquid and travel to any part of china or to wuhan if you are in any part of china. but they left the world wide open out of wuhan province. they knew the severity, they protected themselves and expose the rest of the world. they muzzled whistle-blower doctors, cornered the market for key medical supplies and hoarded them. even worse, they are now price gouging on top of every other evil and horrific thing they did in this process. thankfully, the president, he is taking aggressive actions to keep americans safe here and abroad. when it comes to beijing or any other rogue actor around the world. for example, iran as the president announced he's instructed the u.s. navy to shoot down and destroy any iranian gunboats that are harassing american ships, following an encounter in the persian gulf last week and now
10:29 pm
compare that with the, let's say, failed appeasement policies of biden-obama, they are the guys who dropped 150 billion in cash and currency to iranian mullahs shouting "death to america, death to israel," burning or flags, burning israel's flags. still chanting death to america. breaking tonight, iran reportedly launched a military satellite into orbit, thought to be of significance since it uses the same technology to launch an intercontinental ballistic missile. president trump, he's made it clear, tehran will always be lwheld accountable for their roe behavior and he's not going to soften his stance with america's enemies. author of the book "delta war," general robert spalding and congressman from the great state of florida himself, matt gaetz. we've got these little boats out there, always worried about the
10:30 pm
straits of hormuz, more strategically important to the united states now because of the president's decision to make us energy independent. but how do you respond when they are harassing our ships in those narrow straits or elsewhere? >> i think the president's right to use the bully pulpit of the presidency. when you go back to the general for the ir gc that was taken down in iraq, it provides a level of the turbines to the iranian forces. we don't want to have another call where one of the boats had explosives, comes in, and really kills sailors and damages our ships. it's important important that we create a turn, the president talking about it reminds the iranians they need to keep their distance. >> sean: matt gaetz, let's go back to florida. we just had governor desantis on. you see the numbers in florida. you and i discussed this privately, we were both very concerned about the elderly
10:31 pm
population, a lot of people retire in your state and in your district. you are acutely aware of this hyper, very censored focus on the elderly population in particular, it seems by these numbers to be paying off big time. >> history will judge governor desantis very favorably for focusing or efforts on those vulnerable. dr. birx said florida had a contract tracing system that was a model for america and that's the type of technology that we have to get people back to work. as it relates to iran, the united states doesn't seek a war with iran. such a war would be lost by iran but the winner would undoubtedly be china. we are not going to engage in endless foreignn wars, but we will take out terrorists. the message is clear to any iranian official who would engage in terrorism, either get your act together or get prepared to meet general soleimani.
10:32 pm
>> sean: that's a good line too. i think the military effort is clear. we learned that when the president remove the handcuffs, the rules of engagement from the biden-obama appeasement era, and literally wiped out the caliphate in syria, they just bombed the hell out of them. didn't have to wait for them to fire first. the iranians, you would thinks that they would know by now that this president means what he says. >> they are clearly grasping and it's good for the president to remind them to use the bully pulpit of the presidency to remind them that if they do things there will be repercussions. you are correct in that we haven't always done that in the past and it's good to see this president actually stand up and take action and back that up with words, because words from his presidency can actually be a deterrent. >> sean: it's not going to be hard, matt gaetz, to take out the gunships that they are using to taunt our american sailors,
10:33 pm
our american flag tankers that are in the region. >> i don't think american blood should bee used to avenge forein oil or foreign vessels. but where americans are in danger, the president clear that he will respond and i appreciate the fact that the trump doctrine is not one that seeks to engage us in yet another forever war, but we take action swiftly and re-reset the terrence. we've done this not only with iran, we've done this with syria. president trump drew a redline and abided n he's backk and he's going to tak

>> live from america's news headquarters, i am ashley strohmeyer. small business owners wasting no time reaching out for emergency loans to help them throughout the coronavirus pandemic. more than $300 billion available under a special program which the senate has agreed to replenish. the house boats on thursday, banking industry groups tell us all the money is probably spoken for so unless small business owners already applied for a loan, it's unlikely unlikely they will ever get a share. not the only one suffering in this in this crisis, tyson foods suspends operations in its pork

processing clamp because of a virus outbreak in the community. a major blow for hog farmers and our nation's pork. several of her meat-packing plants in the midwest have also closed during the pandemic. i am ashley strohmeyer. now back to "hannity." >> sean: sadly but t predictably, the mob in the media continue to demonize out of work americans and show outright disdain for those that are enduring economic hardship, if you can believe it. we have the tape.be take a look. >> i want to put back this photo of these ohio protesters that went viral this week. a lot of people said it looked like a zombieeo movie. zombie directors also think so too, looks like a scene out of "the walking dead" or whatever. what is it they are trying to channel here? is this neo-confederacy, what does that have to do with a pandemic? >> they are disinfecting
10:39 pm
offices, they are cleaning people, they are changing bedpans, and they are working, those people are out there complaining because they don't have haircuts? who the hell do you think you are? >> sean: the comments are destructive, repulsive, the sneering at tens of millions of suffering americans. couldn't be any more clear, coronavirus lockdowns as columnist glenn reynolds points out showing it to americas. 90% of americans are amazing, stepping up in ways short of inspiring. those who lost their jobs, though still getting paid and those who want to sow division. the host of "justice," just as jean pinero, along with former white house chief of staff reince priebus. i don't have words of what i've been saying, judge. i would like the media -- dear, we lost... that was a great pan in.
10:40 pm
so people at home though, limited cruise, automatic cameras, they sometimes mess up. i want them to answer. every democrat, media mob person to answer in retrospect was donald trump's decision ten days after the first identified coronavirus case in america, in retrospect, many people called it racist, was it the right decision. of all the things the president did in what was the largest, fastest medical mobilization in the history of the world, what do you think you did right? i'd like them to answer that because i don't think t they can or would even try to give them an ounce of credit. >> they wouldn't let those words come out of their mouth, sean. but it is true. they are trying to call those who want to go back to work, those who were protesting and exercising their constitutional right, they want to call them the virus deniers. they are not the virus deniers. they are the people who want to
10:41 pm
work, but they want to do it safely and strategically. when you hear about the political class and the managerial class that says stay-at-home, and if you listen to what they are saying, they are virtually staying until we get a vaccine, we all know everyone will be okay which is a year, year and a half down the road, you've got 22 million americans out of work. they are saying, we've got bills that are still coming in, who is going to pay these bills? i have to tell you, brian seltzer in particular with cnn. he said -- >> sean: we call him humpty dumpty. >> i have no problem with men crying. brian, you've got a job. you get to be on television every day, or whatever your schedule is -- i don't know. you've got a check. why don't you cry for people out there protesting because they want to feed their families. even the attorney general of the united states has said that some
10:42 pm
of these restrictions by governors, in particular michigan, are so bad that they are almost a house arrest. we've got to balance the pandemic with the right of the american people to both protest and get back to work. >> sean: good point about michigan especially in light of the numbers which are shown from florida and governor desantis' incredible, done a great job by targeting the elderly, those with underlying conditions, the great people of the villages. don't know if you've been there. so much fun. reince, it's kind of predictable, i understand, but i think every democratic candidate should have to answer those questions. the media wants -- every democratic candidate, what did the president do right, was the travel ban in retrospect a right call? >> and they are going to be able to do that this fall in the election and the president i think iso going to cram it down their throats. everything that judge jeanine just said, these people have the
10:43 pm
right to protest, people are hurting, they need to go back to work. keep in mind today at the press conference, president trump went out of his way to say three or four times that he infected not agree with governor kemp in georgia and president trump put forward in support of the idea that we need two weeks of reduced infection both for states to reopen. so he's trying to balance all of this out. that's all going to get lost in the media and they are going to say that the president is behind all the protests. i think we support the protesters, but the president has clear that we have to balance post these things up. we can't get the economy moving until we create demand. can't keep throwing money at it, you have to if you don't create demand, sean, then you can't save the economy. the only way you can create demand is by getting people back to work. >> sean: in your state,

farmers are farming. dairy farmers are having to pour milk down the drain, for crying out loud! >> my first job was on a dairy farm. you have to keep milking cows. >> me too. >> you can't stop milking a cow. >> sean: did i hear judge jeanine is a dairy farmer? >> i'm from upstate new york! i worked in a dairy! of course i milk the cows! >> sean: i was very young... they have machines for that. stop with the "i did it"... >> [laughs] >> sean: we owe them a debt of gratitude. here's the thing.s new york had nothing because people were farming and farmers and truckers, we were done. the medical supplies that manufacturers in this country, they were working. thank god they were. good to see you both. >> that is right.

a tape measure, but we have a much limited process here compared to "o'reilly," but this coming across the wire. bernie sanders has announced he's running in 2024! that's pretty exciting. says that he wants to come back, he's going to drop out again because he wants to get paid again and he needs a skittish that'll give him a property yacht c. you've got to be prepare of the socialist who does the long form taxes. >> sean: can hardly wait. we've been watching nancy pelosi. she's holed up in her gated community mansion. some very bizarre footage of her on a comedy show showing off a $24,000 freezer stocked with expensive gourmet ice creams. i'm dying for your thoughts.
