reopen the state economy? >> first off the governor's counsel is not telling the truth. we have proposed a number of proposals including from wmc, the state's chamber of commerce. ideas and opportunities, every time we've proposed something to the governor has fallen on deaf ears. that's why we think this lawsuit is critical because we need to make sure the legislature gets involved in the process as it relates to these emergency rules being created by the part of health and human services so we can get back to a point where wisconsin can get back to work and that is why we hope we will be successful in court today, just two months ago or unemployment rate was at roughly 3%. fast forward where we are today, over 500,000 wisconsinites are out of work, just last month alone a survey conducted said if the safer at home extension continues we could lose upwards of 35% of small businesses in the state. rob: as we look at the numbers here, you are not seeing a bit of a spike at this point but

when you talk about scientists and what they recommend they have absolutely no consideration for any economy, all they think about is how to save lives, how to stop the spread. are you trying to balance out their perspective with the other side, the frustration of the economy because of what we are doing? >> we can reach a balance. under the original safer at homeowner, they took the advice of the medical community to do what we set out to do which was to flatten the curve and that was avoid a public health disaster and by a large we flatten the curve but we need to listen to our business communities develop a plan to avoid economic disaster and come up with a balanced approach to open the state safely and regionally. even governor cuomo of new york expressed interest in opening up the state, looking at regional plans as opposed to a 1-size-fits-all approach. rob: there might not be something to get back to if we don't get something soon.

jillian: you're used to treating patient 5 so i'm sure was getting on the other side of that. doctors can -- costanzo, you treated doctor manual and i would like to ask you about his condition and what you think got him to the other side so he was able to pull through. >> he was severely ill with something that we call ards, acute respiratory failure, very hard to oxygenate him. he was on the respirator with maximum settings, he really pulled through. i think the worst that got him through his faith. we have faith in our system, faith in our protocol, very early in the epidemic and the pandemic process we reorganized our entire structure of the doctors in training, we are organized and set up a new structure and approached it in a military fashion with squadrons per 12 patients and we had faith

in our protocols and his family had faith in us and we worked tirelessly with critical care to get him through this process. jillian: doctor constantine, you are a trauma surgeon, you see a lot of tough stuff. i'm sure was difficult seeing your dad in that condition, what was it like witnessing his month-long struggle with covid-19? >> it was extremely difficult especially in my position. i wanted to intervene as a trauma surgeon, as a military person but i had faith and trust in the team behind me, this is just a small fraction of the nurses and doctors and therapists that residents who really deserve most of the credit, the dedication coming in day in and day out regardless of who they were taking care of really is a testament to my dad's outcome and the outcome of
