6:00 pm
but we don't, so we're turning it over to the great sean hannity, who is standing by tonight in new york. >> sean: can i tell you though, what dana just laid out there was a brilliant analysis. and here's the thing, if they even get rid of biden or attempt to as many are speculating, i think it's difficult to do, that is the whole groupthink known as the democratic socialist party. there are no moderates left in that party. they are all extreme radical socialist. they all buy into this remdesivir nonsense. great analysis by both of you. >> sean: thanks so much. >> sean: welcome to hannity, buckle up. due to massive developments in the biggest abuse of power, corruption scandal in american history. dozens of top obama officials have unmasked, surveilled tenant general michael flynn in the weeks after the 2016 election. once again, we are reporting, as
6:01 pm
we've been saying, all roads lead directly to barack the ever forgetful joe. coming up, we will name names, we will call out the liars. we have other breaking news regarding this tonight and we will expose the judge in the flynn case, that guy, emmett sullivan, for what is outrageous behavior, sclera bias in this case that has gotten much worse tonight and we have all the breaking details and i have a special message for the idiotic federal judge who is now trying to revive flynn's persecution, four years isn't enough? we begin tonight with a brief lesson. what is the term unmasking mean? we are about unmasking. what does it mean? all right, because because of our great constitution, our government is not allowed to surveilled or spy on you, on week, the american people. their own citizens. they can't spy on your communications unless they have a warrant. you heard about unreasonable search and seizure, due process,
6:02 pm
constitutional rights, civil liberties, they all apply here. our federal government does however surveilled people in other countries and americans if they get a proper warrant. there is a lot of evil in this world, we cannot dispute that. it is a matter of national security. not exactly a secret that we spy on other governments. we know they spy on us, we know they try to impact our elections, russia, china, iran, north korea, should i keep going? but we, this country, we have the most powerful tools of intelligence in the entire world. 99% of people in our intelligence community are brave patriotic americans that would never abuse their power. 1 percent did. imagine this, they could actually point at your house from a long distance and hear everything going on in your house. that's how powerful these tools of intelligence are. what all of this means is let us say that our, well, intelligence community, is doing their job in
6:03 pm
protecting america and our national security, but in the course of any type of surveillance, an american is incidentally picked up in that surveillance. as long as you don't hear direct sabotage, that would because incidental surveillance. they don't have a warrant to listen to the american. now, when they transcribe that phone call of the person that they're spying on in the american that is incidental, they use a process called minimization and they will not identify -- when we discuss unmasking of the u.s. citizens, this is a very serious process. you need a warrant to spy on americans and it is only allowed if it is needed to fully understand the foreign intelligence -- if you recognize who that american is, you do not unmask them. you do not give their name, you don't write their name down. it should never, ever be used
6:04 pm
for a nefarious political purpose to spy on americans and take away your privacy, your civil liberties and constitutional rights. so tonight, it begs the question, why in the hell to the obama administration's unmasking request jumped threefold from 9500 in 2013 to 30,355 in 2016? are nearly 300% increase. we started reporting on this. spying on americans, unmasking americans about leaking raw intelligence. in march of 2017. we spent over three years we've been all over this. here are some of the evidence. >> the increase in surveillance that you saw in this election cycle, i first interviewed the cpac, this was march of 2015, the presidential election cycle, the recent one started. and what you saw in terms of
6:05 pm
surveillance, unmasking, the percentage of increase -- >> you set a couple weeks ago that it felt like we were peeling back in on it and that's what we've done. we started by saying obama allowed the espionage community to look more at americans data. they look at donald trump's associates and unmask them in intelligence report, it was reported that the unmasked numbers of congress. then we reported that the number of unmasking this tripled. >> sean: that was in march 2017. now, we know one part of the massive increase was targeted at donald trump sr.'s campaign advisor, an incoming national security advisor, a man who has served this country honorably for 33 years in combat zones and that's general michael flynn. we now know he was unmasked a whopping 48 times by roughly two dozen obama officials between election day, november 8th 2016 and the presidents inauguration, that's january 20th, 2017.
6:06 pm
clearly, as flynn spoke with his future counterparts from all over the world, like samantha powers and susan rice admitted they did before they joined the obama administration, the trump transition team, the obama administration was listening. now look at this. obama's u.n. ambassador, samantha powers submitted -- well, actually seven unmasking requests. why would a u.n. ambassador ever need to unmask anybody? then of course there is dni james clapper. he made three requests. i've been telling about brendan and clapper and telling you to keep an eye on them for three years. now we are understanding why. why would the secretary of the treasury have to unmasking requests. and we have super patriot jim comey. higher calling, higher honor. he submitted a request. after of course he signed the first fisa warrant based on information that he never verified because it's unverifiable. signed three of them.
6:07 pm
january 5th, 2017, the state support, we've been talking an awful lot about that date. that was the date obama's chief of staff, denis mcdonough, he submitted an unmasking request, january 5th, the very same day that obama held that infamous intel meeting at the white house. let's see, clapper, brennan, rice, sally gates and jim comey were there. the end of the meeting -- and biden was there. comey and yates stay behind baird that's where sally gates said under oath that she was shocked that obama knew every intimate detail of general funds communications. unmasking, in other words. a coincidence? i'm sure. obama's vp, the ever clueless forgetful joe biden was present at the meeting. and what's interesting, on january 12, 8 day before his leaving, vice president, trumpets coming into be inaugurated, joe biden himself directly submitted his own request to unmask general flynn. now, it just so happens
6:08 pm
yesterday biden was on with george stephanopoulos. clinton sycophant, obama sycophant. even george asked what did you know, when did you know it and he said he knew nothing about any investigation into general flynn. now either he forgot or he's lying. we will let you decide. >> so what did you know about those moves to investigate michael flynn, and was there anything improper done? >> i know nothing about those moves to investigate michael flynn. >> i do want to press that, you say you don't know anything about it but you were reported in january 15th, 2017 meeting for you and the president were briefed on the fbi's plan to question michael flynn over those conversations he had with the russian ambassador kislyak. >> i thought you asked me whether or not i had anything to do with him being prosecuted. i'm sorry. i was aware that there was -- that they asked for an investigation. but that's all i know about it. >> sean: that's all i know?
6:09 pm
joe is lying. why? because joe unmasked flynn himself and biden might want to start thinking about getting his story straight if he is capable. in an interview with maria bartiromo, which will air, a good interview, i saw parts of it, tomorrow morning on the fox business channel. president trump excoriated biden over this very issue and rightly so. take a look. >> they weren't after general flynn. they wanted him to lie about me, make up a story and with few exceptions, nobody did that. there were many people. i watched mcfarlane the other day. i watched where she was knock knock, fbi, the fbi. this was all obama. this was all biden. these people were corrupt. the whole thing was corrupt, and we caught them. we caught them. and what you saw just now, i watched biden yesterday, could barely speak, he was on "good morning america," right? he said he didn't know anything
6:10 pm
about it. now it just gets released right after he said that. it gets released that he was one of the unmasked errors, meaning he knew everything about it, so he lied to your friend george stephanopoulos. >> sean: the president is 1000% correct. joe biden is lying. by the way, he's kind of always been a liar and a guy that played arises, he'll always be a liar. the only difference now is he's having a real hard time keeping his lies straight. i'll tell you why, because if you want to be a good liar, it usually takes a good memory and a certain level of alertness that joe seems to be lacking. is not the only obama alumni who's been caught in a lie. let's take a look at samantha power. she submitted to go in one day, seven total, flynn unmasking requests. not according to samantha power in 2019. she said she didn't. somebody is lying, take a look. >> why did you decide to unmask so many individuals in 2016?
6:11 pm
i wanted you to clear the reco record. i'm just asking why it was false. >> falls. >> sean: as it turns out, probably wasn't falls at all. but when her testimony before the house intelligence committee, she says i don't know who unmasked 300 people in my name, why would any u.n. ambassador be unmasking anybody, never mind a 33 year war hero. it seem a little strange to you? because it should. just watch as obama's cia director has been talking a lot about brendan. one or brennan and clapper going to come into this equation? they are now right in the middle of the picture. you see brennan squirming and ask about the very topic in front of congress. let's take a look. >> do you recall any u.s. ambassadors asking that names be unmasked? >> i don't -- i don't know. maybe it's ringing a vague bell but i'm not -- i could not answer with any confidence. >> sean: he asked for an unmasking of flynn himself.
6:12 pm
all told, five u.s. ambassadors submitted request to unmask lieutenant general flynn in the months after the election. did the head of the cia really not have any idea that this was going on? or did he just lied to congress? well, that happens, maybe what happened to roger stone, 29 guys in tactical gear, predawn rate, cnn, fake news cameras will be there to capture it all for process crime. just like the ig recommended comey and that's right, mccabe. and peter strzok and lisa page, and others. what happened to general flynn -- here's the worst part. it's only the tip of the iceberg. remember, 300% increase in unmasking requests in the obama administration in the second term. kind of hard to believe anyone on the incoming administration wasn't spied on. why is this dangerous? should be obvious. this is unconstitutional. this is a precedent that is beyond scary. this is taking the single most
6:13 pm
powerful tools of intelligence and turning it on the american people, denying civil rights, denying due process rights, denying constitutional rights, and literally spying on a presidential candidate, a transition team, and incoming president deep into the presidency of an opposition party. if that would be the single most repulsive, disgusting, unconstitutional abuse of power and it appears like it all happen. i ask again, barack, joe, what did you know, and when did you know what? it's time to answer those questions, because tonight, my sources are telling me this unmasking scandal is only a small part of the equation of what is the john durham investigation and has been a big part of his investigation for a long time now. in fact, doj spokesperson carrie q back one confirm this very thn martha maccallum show that unmasking is an essential part.
6:14 pm
>> last week, we provided information related to unmasking and if that list that you're referencing right now. and as its relevant to investigations, john durham's investigation, specifically, i'm sure that he will take a look at that and just so that -- just to make this point, john durham and his review of 2016 and 2017 and what happens there, he's already looking at this issue of unmasking under his broader review and i can tell you that his team is working diligently to get to the bottom of what happened. >> sean: is the attorney general bill barr has said, john durham's team, this is not about working on another report like the ig, they actually have the ability to convene grand juries and they're working on criminal prosecutions potentially. justice is hopefully coming. if not, let me tell you what the consequences are. you will no longer live in a free country. the great american republic will disintegrate before your eyes. that constitution is the

predicate of all rule of law. predictably, the media mob that ignored the biggest abuse of power and corruption scandal in history and then push their conspiracy theories, they are trying really hard to ignore these things or make excuses because they support the agenda of the left. and that means joe biden and obama and hillary, and they protect them. state-run television, propaganda and like the new york toilet paper times. they spent most of today all but ignoring this unmasking scandal. that's nothing new. nearly four years, pretty much from the day that donald trump and melania trump came down that escalator, the democratic chills and the media ignore the biggest abuse of power corruption scandal in our history. we were right, they were wrong, all while obsessing about a russia collusion hoax, a ukrainian collusion hoax and hate-trump conspiracy theories. lie after lie. so-called journalists at the

that information from them, but they kept using it as a ruse to spy on and-president donald trump, first of course denying carter page's civil liberties, so if you spent the last three years watching fake news cnn or conspiracy tv boswell rachel maddow's state run propaganda television, msdn c, all you heard was lies in conspiracy theories. they never correct the record, they never made it right. unlike the media mob, we got it right, right here on this little show, our little ensemble team. john solomon, carter, jarrett, so many others, i can't name them all. but we were uncovering it, on peeling the layers of the onion bit by bit. the mob were busy reporting and other hoax, lie after lie, one after another, hyperventilating, feigning outrage when there was none and never admitting that they got the whole darn thing wrong. in the end my opus justice will be served at all who abuse their power will be held accountable

to the full extent of the law because if not you can say goodbye to your country and tonight it's critically important that all of those who were victims of this political persecution be fully exonerated. unfortunately in the case of general flynn, george is now taking clearly political stand instead of signing off on the doj's request to drop all charges, now we have judge emmet sullivan appointed as a retired judge to argue against the government's motions. both sides wanted dismissed based on all this new evidence, not judge sullivan. no doubt sullivan, we've seen his bias, keep in mind he once insinuated that a war hero, 33 a veteran, general flynn, was guilty of treason in an open courtroom. accused flynn of betraying his country. they disgusting, unforgivable comment by judge sullivan -- and by the way, mr. sullivan, what part of general flynn being ambushed and set up by mccabe and comey don't you understand? what part of prosecutors threatening his son, if you don't do what they want -- what

this. we've earned an awful lot since then. >> we have, and we've also learned how expensive it was and how frightening and i think that you were so right in your opening monologue to point out how this has just trampled the fourth amendment of our constitution, unreasonable search and seizure. you have to ask yourself this one question, when you look at the list of obama officials beyond john brennan, beyond james clapper, for example, mike neufeld, with the u.s. treasury, he was working intelligence on iran. so when he asked for unmasking on michael flynn, you have to ask what he was looking for, what was he trying to find? when you think of the leak to "the washington post" and the fact that they told david ignatius -- they were looking at a logan act violation and then went sideways for that and revealed the highly classified conversation, which was very legitimate, michael flynn, sir
6:21 pm
sergey kislyak, you have to ask yourself how long did the obama officials do this and that needs to be the biggest part of the concern for john durham and that's exactly what he's going to be looking at. how extensive were these unmaskings? we only know this sheer accident and by sheer coincidence that we were able to find this out. had president trump not won the election, we would never be the wiser and this is how. that administration and those people at the administer showinf operated. >> sean: this is just the tip of the iceberg. gregg jarrett, two best-selling books on this, let's talk about the legality in play here and the judge. >> judge emmet sullivan. as i wrote in a column today, he has either taken leave of his senses or he is exhibiting outrageous political bias. i think it's a bit of both.

john brennan of course was cia director and intelligence community was a key player in putting out that intelligence assessment of, what, two things. one, that russia meddled in the 2016 election, would nobody's really disputing, and secondly, the key disputed part is that russia wanted, according to john brennan and others in the intel community, setting a narrative, that russia wanted donald trump to win. what i'm hearing is there was also other pieces of intelligence at the time suggesting, well, hang on a second, there are others who believe that russia actually wants hillary clinton to win because she's unknown quantity. she was a secretary of state, they worked with her, she might be more malleable while on the other hand, donald trump was unpredictable. what do you do in a normal situation like that, sean? if it's about kim jong un or another country? you take these different pieces of intelligence and you put in the report, hey, there are some who believe this, some will believe that. instead what i'm being told is that brennan and others held back that intelligence that was
