all major book retailers, gotta think charlie hurt, catherine, i'm jon scott. we'll see you tomorrow. jesse: welcome to "watters world," i'm jesse watters. the president moments away from taking the stage for the first time since the pandemic. in tulsa, oklahoma, supporters are packed inside. john roberts is in the middle of all the action. you have been to almost all of these things. how did this feel? reporter: it feels like a reemergence. there are are so many people i talked to -- it's so loud you
11:01 pm
can't hear yourself think. they were excited about getting back out here. whether they came from wichita, kansas or oklahoma city, they wanted to be part of the resurgence of the campaign. a few moments ago i had an exclusive interview with the president where he acknowledged that lot of the momentum has been lost because he has been sitting in the white house for three months. he wanted to be out here tonight saying we have done the best we can with the coronavirus. but the country has to open back up. the way this president builds momentum is by these rallies. because he can outdraw any other candidate. the bok center is about 2/3
11:02 pm
full, but it can still draw a big crowd. jesse: the event is being billed as the great american comeback. joining me, former trump white house chief staff just, steve bannon. you have had the pandemic. the snap recession. racial unrest in this country. how would you frame this election if you were the president. it looks like he's saying i'm a man of action. i'm going to bring back the country and take on china while biden is a sleepy corrupt puppet who will destroy the economy. >> you heard john roberts talk about the enthusiasm people have for getting this campaign under way. this is not just a rough patch. it's one of the most turbulent
11:03 pm
times we visibility undergone in modern history. this was an economy that worked for the people at the lower end of the scale. that's what president trump showed through action action action. he built a terrific economy. this rally is very important. but next week as president he goes down to the wall in yuma to see the new wall being built down there. he goes to wisconsin there there is an order for 10 navy ships. he will bring back the supply chain back to the united states, and he's running against the globalists. as he lays out his vision for the next four years. to me it's clear, a man of action versus joe biden who has been a legislator his entire life and a globalist. jesse: if the president go to
11:04 pm
the border or to wisconsin to look at a shipyard. if joe biden continues to use the excuse of virus to hide in his basement, how long do you think he can survive in that state? >> i don't think he can. at the top of his game he was not einstein's cousin. he has to prove to people he can handle not just complex topics. but he's a man of action who can force his will on things. he's been in the witness protection program. he has a proof of life podcast he does every so often. he time he comes on television it's a disaster. he doesn't have a great track record. in fact if you remember what bill parscale said, you are your
11:05 pm
record. he supported globalist corporations and he has been their advocate for 40 years. and he will have to run against that record and convince people that he's got a plan of action. on jobs, on needed reform, and also against china, as he handles a pandemic which he's working with governors to open rapidly and smartly and safely. when people see the difference between the order of trump and the chaos of biden, it will be a clear choice. i think biden will have a difficult time making the case to people. jesse: the order of trump and the chaos of biden. joe biden isn't a man of ideas. he's a coat tail candidate, got plucked out of nowhere to be the
11:06 pm
vp for obama. not a policy guy. yet if you look at some of these polls, and. jon: is ahead in some places. do you believe these polls or do you have see that as a snapshot of where we are to go. >> the financial crisis on top' pandemic. all of it is driven by the chinese communist party. trump is order. everything joe biden talks about, the foreign policies he supported, the economic policies about jobs and trade. the democrats picked a globalist
11:07 pm
candidate. once again they selected a globalist candidate in the age of nationalism and populism. president trump has fought the economic and political elites from day one. and he has fought for the american people. i think he will make the case for why he's the candidate of order versus chaos. biden will have a tough time articulating it. but convincing the american people he has the will power to push these changes through. jesse: he obviously can't articulate it. he just reads whatever is put in front of him. he's never been a leader ever. i can't think of one example where he led the charge. do you think people will rally behind joe biden?
11:08 pm
only in the sense they want to take down donald trump. if you have all of this turmoil that we have been seeing, do you think that people are going to say, you know what? .we want to go -- do we want to go back to normal or do we want to keep the bull in the china shop in november? >> this was triggered by the chinese communist party and the pandemic. when he signed the trade deal, the economy was bonfire. his numbers were on fire. this was driven by the existential threat of the chinese communist party. the question will be is the guy who created these jobs and set america first national security policy, we are very focused on
11:09 pm
what our enemy is, and the enemy is the chinese communist party. i think when people weigh and measure versus joe biden, joe biden was delegated to one big thing in the obama administration. he was obama's lead man on obama's fiasco. jesse: he was point man on ukraine and getting out of iraq. everywhere joe biden went disaster followed. thank you very much. check out the war room pandemic. let's bring in the panel and here we have at the rattly we have the co-chair for trump
11:10 pm
2020, gina loudon, corey lewandowski, and mike huckabee. do you expect a lot of score settling and going off script tonight? i have got to think the president has a lot to get off his chest. >> i hope so. we know that president trump is the best when he's talking directly to the american people when he's not following the script. we saw that success in 2016 during the entire campaign, when he ridiculed all his opponents for using teleprompters. i know that will cause consternation across the country with people saying we want him to be presidential. i want him fighting for america and he will show it tonight.
11:11 pm
jesse: we heard all week from the media that this was a dangerous rally, and it will cause lives. but they never said a thing about the actual danger from the police riots we have seen the last weeks. do you think this is covid shaming? >> i think we learned that the covid virus is cured by riots and looting. the president should have said we are not going to have a rally, we are going to have a riot and it would have been okay. jesse: the president is taking the stage in tulsa, oklahoma. let's listen in. biden. boy, does he get a pass from these people. we are going to stop the radical left and build safely for every mayor what of every race, religion and creed. republicans are the party liberty, equality, and justice for all. we are the party abraham and we are the party of law and order. think of what we have done. we'll have close to 300 federal judges appointed and approved by the end of my first time, the all-time record the all-time

bad characters. we are lowering the price of prescription drugs, make our allies pay their fair share. they get a big bargain on drug prices. and enacting fair trade deals. finally after all niece years -r all these years, put america first. we passed the largest tax cuts in the history our country. the democrats want to raise your taxes. tell me about that. tell me about that. i guess i'm old-fashioned. all my life, all my life i heard politicians want to lower taxes, not raise it. if you lower them you couldn't lose. the democrats want to substantially raise your taxes. how do you figure that? and regulation cuts. we passed more regulation cuts

states into the dominant energy super power of the world. and because of the chinese virus, what happened about three months ago, it looked like we were in big trouble and we were, and i got it back together. i called russia, right? i called russia. i called saudi arabia. and believe it or not, i called mexico. mexico was a little bit tough. it's called opec plus. it's opec plus plus. we got them to do the right thing. and we have our energy back to almost $40 a barrel meaning you have an energy business again. almost $40 a barrel.

he once in a while i have one of those days left and right. if you could have heard the reports, the reports, oh, it's covid -- it's a disease without question that has more names than any disease in history. i can name kung flu. i can name 19 different versions of names. many call it a virus which it is. many call it a flu. i think we have 19 or 20 versions of the name. but they say to me, where do you get the energy? i don't have a choice. it's interesting to show you how fake they are. you might have seen it. last week they called me and said, sir, west point, we are
11:37 pm
ready. i said that's right, i have to make a commencement speech at west point. they delayed it for six weeks because of covid. i went there. 1,106 cadets were graduating, and beautiful cadets. so this is just to show you how bad the fake news is. they say to me, sir, we are ready to go. i say let's go. this is after saying hello to a lot of the cadets. inspecting areas of the buildings that was very exciting, very old. west point is beautiful, right on the hudson river. after an hour, the general that runs it is fantastic. after an hour. i do some more inspections. sir, are you ready?
11:38 pm
yes, i am. so we walked like the equivalent of three blocks which is fine. we go on stable which is fine. they make speeches, then i make a speech. it lasted maybe 45 minutes. the sun is pouring down on me. but they said to me before the speech, sir, would you like to salute each cadet or maybe they will be in groups of two. like this. almost 600 times. do you know what that is? 600 times. thank god they were in twos. let me tell you. you do that 600 times. you go home and you say it's like a workout without a weight.
11:39 pm
i did that. then the incredible helicopters, brand-new, gorgeous helicopters, the apaches that we just bought. so they fly over. and the kids throw the hats and it's beautiful -- and it was a beautiful day. and we are all finished. i was on the stable for hours. in the sun. i came home, i had a nice and. meaning i had a nice sunburn. but i made the speech. i salute for probably an hour and a half. maybe more. if i'm off by two minutes they will say he exaggerated, it was only an hour 25 minutes. they will say he lied. these people are sick at fake
11:40 pm
news. so then i finish saluting my final salute, i said thank goodness, thank you very much. but think of it. so essentially almost 600 times. now, the general says, sir, are you ready? i said i'm ready, general. where are we going now? i left early in the morning. now it's late in the afternoon. a least these fakers go with us. so they know. he said sir we can now leave the stable. i said great, general, let's leave, i will follow you. he said right here, sir.
11:41 pm
and the stage was higher than this one. and the ramp was probably 10 yards long. i say general, i want them to love their president. i did this big thing. i love them. they are incredible. and they do. i said, general, i have got myself a problem, general. because i'm wearing leather bottom shoes which is good if you are walk on flat surfaces. it's not good for ramps. look at all those press back there. look at them. and this was a steel ramp. you saw it. this was a steel ramp. it has no hand a rail.
11:42 pm
it was like an ice skating rink. i said general, i have a problem. he didn't understand that at first. i said there is no way. i just saluted 600 times. i'm being baked like a cake. i said general there is no way i can make it down that's ramp without falling on my ass. i have no railing. it's true. so i said is there something else around. >> sir, the ramp is ready to go. grab me. grab me. i didn't want to grab him base said that would be a story, too. i can stay up there for another couple of hours and wait until i'm rested or i can go down this
11:43 pm
really steep, really, really ice skating rink. it's brutal. so i said general, get ready. because i may grab you so fast because i can't fall with the fake news watching. if i fall, if i fall, i remember president ford fell out of the plane. remember? i remember when another president nice man threw up in japan. and they did slow motion replays. right? i don't want that, general. now he's standing there -- a big strong guy, and he's got these shoes, but they are load rubber on the bottom.
11:44 pm
the first thing i did was looking at his shoes, then i looked at mine, very, very slippery. so i said let's go, i will only grab you if i need you. that's not a good story. but falling would be a disaster. it turned out to be worse than anything. i would have been best off if i fell and slid down the damn ramp. so what happens is i start the journey inch by inch, right? and i was really bent over, too, i didn't like this picture. i was bent over, right?
11:45 pm
i finally reach almost the end and the fake news, the most dishonest human beings, they kit off. you know why? because when i was 10 feet short. i said general, i am sorry. i looked very handsome, that was the only good part. i wouldn't want to run down the whole thing because the fall there would definitely bad. so i took these little steps. i ran down the last 10. there tape. take a look. in almost he instance. it ends just before i run. and they said it was the number one trending story. i called my wife. i said how good was that speech? i will tell you when i make good ones and bad ones. so far tonight i'm average.

so far tonight. but i call my wife and i said how good was it, darling? she said you are trending number one. i said to our great first lady. i said let me ask you a question? was it because of the speech? >> no, they don't mention the speech. they mention the fact that you may have parkinson's disease. it's true. something wrong with our president. i will let you know if there is something. there is something wrong with biden. that i can tell you. so then my wife said, well, it wasn't only the ramp. did you have water? i said yeah, i was speaking for a long time. i didn't want to drink it. but i wanted to wet my lips a little bit. you are working hard up there with the sun pouring down on you. i love this location, the sun is like this. that's why they say lighting. i said what does have it to do with water. they said you couldn't lift your hand up with the water. i said i just saluted 600 times. this was before i saluted. so what's the problem?
11:48 pm
she said, well, i know what you did. you had on a very good red tie, it's sort of expensive. but they have a better sheen to them. and i don't want to get water on the tie. so i lift it up the water. do you have a glass of water? where the hell did it come from. i looked down at my tie. i have taken water and it spills on my tie. frankly the tie is never the same. i put it up to my lips. and they gave me another disease. they gave me another disease.
11:49 pm
any way, that's a long story. but here is the story. i have lived with the ram and water since i left west point. not one media group said i made a good speech or i made a bad speech. but the kids loved it because necessity broke their barrier which wasn't good in terms of covid.
