7:00 pm
biggest choice election in our lifetime. amazon.com, 43 days. laura ingraham standing by. >> laura: it's disturbing to . without home, we would have no life as we know it. that is, i think what for many americans is a very sad and disturbing sight to see. it just means we have to do better. we have to take back the public. a lot of lessons to be learned here. speak to my mom and dad are poor. they lived through four years of that. for all those people that fought for liberty and freedom -- we
7:01 pm
correct wrongs and injustices to become a more perfect union. let's start there. >> laura: we got a big show tonight, shawn. great to see you. i am laura ingraham, this is "the ingraham angle." we are monitoring breaking news in washington, d.c., where, of course, violent protesters have once again swarmed lafayette park in front of the white house. this is federal property. this is property that the national park service has jurisdiction over. fox's kevin corke is on his way there now. he will bring the news to you when we get it. and not surprisingly in this environment, crime waves have rocked cities across the country. this has criminals emboldened. and more cops holding back. rudy kerrick has the answers. his message to black lives matter about what best movement
7:02 pm
ignores and the black american community today. you don't want to mov missed th. rallying for america. that's two nights angle. the first time that trump is beating democrats on actual issues like the economy and crimes is when they start their distraction and deflection routine. it's so obvious at this point, it's actually getting boring. they prefer to have biden hunker in the bunker as they peddle stories that have zero effect on your daily lives. >> o he is not okay for the america people. >> calling him "naive and dangerous." >> a little more than 6,000 showed up, far below the expectations. >> the issue that drives the president more than anything else, that is the crowd size.
7:03 pm
>> are you saying the white house does not believe it is racist? >> laura: biden, of course, doesn't need to worry about his crowd sizes. because he doesn't do rallies at all. he wasn't even open to the public but only to 20 local officials and small business owners handpicked by the campaign. and in the arena, though, the trump campaign's showed 12, not 6,000 in attendance as was widely reported by the press. 11.7 million people watched trump's rally on tv and online. he gave fox news its highest saturday night rating in network history. the main point is i think 20 years from now, nobody is going to be writing about things like john bolton, ramblings, nobody is going to be writing about the specific crowd size that a single presidential alley.
7:04 pm
and no one is going to care what nickname we gave to a pandemic. historians will note how in 2020, trump stood up to defend the greatness of america as roving bands of neo-marxists ripped down historical markers and cities left by liberals. until the people had no vote on any of the spirit and how, as i predicted weeks ago, the destruction went far beyond the original confederate targets. >> videos posted to social media show the moment he was dragged to the ground. he wrote the lyrics to the star-spangled banner. they knocked on the statue of former president of the civil war joh general ulysses gt period a-1 president trump was
7:05 pm
to. >> whether it's chicago, it's democrats, seattle, it's democrats. all of these places are run by democrats. 20 out of 20 are democrat run. they don't know what they are doing. and if biting god income of this country would be a disaster. >> laura: we will have more later on in the hour. but seriously, what's republican -- when you really think about this. other than trump would have defied the media and local officials to be with his supporters. i think you di dumb like he didt to show that life has to go on. business in america has to go on. and that the campaigning must go on. and of course, we cannot stay hidden forever as the democrats want. imagine a republican like, let's
7:06 pm
say mitt romney. if you were running. he would be speaking to you from the comfort of home. muffled behind his mask and exposing cliches about alone together. so imagine the enthrall dozens who would tune in for that. better than anyone else on the political scene today, trump knows how important it is to identify, frame, and when the current culture wars. >> the left, ripped down a statue of george washington. and it wrapped in an american flag and except the american flag on fire. democrats -- all democrats. everything i tell you is democrats. and you know, we had to do something. we should have legislation that if somebody wants to burn the american flag and stomp on it,
7:07 pm
they go to jail. for one year. >> laura: well, he also properly defined joe biden for what he has. a figurehead. and a feeble one at that. >> joe biden has surrendered to his party. and to the left wing mob. he does not have any control. does anybody honestly think he controls these radical maniacs? joe biden is not the leader of his party. joe biden is a helpless puppet of the radical left. >> laura: bingo. the trump campaign seems to get it. this isn't an election between trump and biden. it's between trump and the far left that captured the democrat party. finally, by merely showing up in tulsa trump demonstrated he will not be controlled by the fearmongers. they don't care about covid
7:08 pm
confectioninfections. if they did, they would've shut down the george floyd protests and dozens of city across america. but they didn't. none of them should be taken seriously anymore on this period. unless you are in the crowd that's maybe anti-trump. they want you locked down until a vaccine is available. no one is going to do that. smart states have said no to all that. more testing of course means more infections, but now that we see the trueness of the virus along with the devastation that all the lockdowns caused. we are getting a clear picture of all this. not surprising, the states that dragged out there shut down are falling behind economically. "the wall street journal" noted today that nine out of the ten states are run by democrats.
7:09 pm
who demand that the economy should stay bloc locked down. you can see them all listed here. not surprisingly, michigan is number three on the list with 21% unemployment. california at 16%. followed by new jersey and illinois at a miserable 15% rate. of course, the lowest is nebraska which is controlled by republicans. and was under a statewide stay at home order. other states that never saw lockdown still saw unemployment go up. but now every single one of them is still better off than those democrat states i just showed you. they had an average unemployment rate of 6.1%. we trust the people. they want to control the people.
7:10 pm
we believe you can make your own decisions. especially about your health. the state can make them for you. they want open america to a flood of new workers at a time when so many were still struggling to get back on their feet. african-americans and latinos especially need a president who sees the importance of taking americans first. and did not come out the presid. >> this is key to opening jobs for americans who desperately need them. they expect these new restrictions to free up 520,000 jobs. contrary to what you will hear from open borders meeting, traditionally huge support for pauses and immigration. a "washington post" maryland
7:11 pm
poll from late april found pausing immigration in the country. including 61% of minorities. they found that 81% of americans see mass migration as a threat as we confront the challenges proposed by the coronavirus. immigration hawks, like myself, we still want more. huge credit to standing up to the business lobby. the democrats will run in the opposite direction. i promise. for the past month, pretty much all you have seen on tv are the people who vehemently hate what's at the core of this country prayed everything we stand for. your cnet tonight in lafayette park in washington. now, i think it's time that we see americans clean up and say by the way we will have our
7:12 pm
safe. and that's the angle. joining me now. cofounder of the federalists. this isn't about confederate statues. we are truly seen a fight to heritage and culture of america. >> this is an assault on our deepest convictions. and about scrabbling on human hearts. if you think about what these things represent -- washington, lincoln. they represent our faith, our freedom, the music of the american dream. and i think with the left as looking to test is whether or not there is anyone who's going to -- there's a sense of immunity.
7:13 pm
and we will do nothing. they can walk into a church and pull down the statue of jesus and we will do nothing. so what's next? mount rushmore, the statue of liberty. are we just going to watch these be torn down? all of this -- this is lawlessness. >> laura: yeah, he tweeted this today. "i think this is -- should also come down." "they should all come down." this isn't some prank. this is a keynote speaker who introduced bernie sanders at his campaign launch and fund. now they are coming for the stained glass windows.
7:14 pm
when are americans going to stand up and say "no you are not." we are going to protect these. we believe in them. we are going to protect them, especially these monuments and these beautiful works of art. >> my question is, what are conservatives going to do that? i'm in this instance where the president is the only person he recognizes that we are in the midst of a cultural civil war. one that pits a form of anti-americanism that is a fundamentally irredeemable. and wiping away of history in ways that will reach far beyond confederate statues. all of those historians back in 2017 who said that's ridiculous when trump said that they will come to washington and jefferson next.
7:15 pm
they are completely wrong. they have been completely proven wrong. where are the leaders who talk about law and order and wanting to have progress? and being pro-business or promoting lower taxes and the like. why aren't they standing up there protecting the statues cushio?because of the history tt they've been taught over the past several decades. >> laura: they are about to take dow down the statue of tedy roosevelt. here's what obama said himself. >> 1910, teddy roosevelt came here. and he laid out his vision for what he called on new nationalists. today, we are a stronger democracy because of what he
7:16 pm
fought for in his last campaign. >> laura: the media just fawned all over that. they just loved loved loved the speech about teddy roosevelt. they thought it was amazing and beautiful. the left has now been hijacked by the marxists. have they not been? and what does trump need to do right now to try to put an end to this? >> i think we've reached a point where trump said in the rally. in a way, he might let it fest fester. at some point if you would let it go on and it shows impotence of the government. when you talk about what can we do, obviously that's not going to be a militia. we need the police, the authorities, the government.
7:17 pm
we need to recognize that if you let this go on in places like seattle are in jeopardy. national monuments and memories are in jeopardy. all of this must be stopped, by force if necessary. and right now. >> laura: very quickly, lafayette park is federal property. what should be done? >> i think the president -- they have spent far too much time catering to big business. they have to stand up within cultural context. >> laura: they are forever criticizing trump. but right now we need to stand together. gentlemen, thank you so much. last week, attorney general bill barr announced he was -- but berman didn't go quietly. for days he refused to leave. so berman is now gone.
7:18 pm
but we are n only now learning s depths. he refused to sign a later criticizing and enforcing social distancing. he was more concerned with his political standing in new york city than protecting your constitutional rights. joining me now, armor new york city mayor. rudy, he said he saw this letter as a political stunt that would strain relations between his office in the city. now this is really the guy we had in one point and one of the most important offices in the country? >> i think you are going to find out that he also did something that really hurt the republic meant a sleep aid way back in october of 2017, i believe. people came to him with all of the allegations i eventually
7:19 pm
uncovered. and he refused to investigate them. basically giving the impression that they didn't have time to investigate the possibility of obstruction by the ukraine and involvement in the election. that that that wasn't really important. the phoneme of collusion charges. i think they will be documents that have already been released and published tomorrow that show -- >> laura: rudy. >> you see the -- >> laura: this is further eroding the public's trust. at the highest prosecutorial arm of our federal government. first of all, he won't leave when he's told to leave. second of all, he is protecting bellagio for political reasons. and your comments about the
7:20 pm
ukraine tonight. what else is there? what else? >> eat at the same thing earlier. he turned down all allegations including involving joe biden which could have been investigated the year and a half ago. long before we can end the presidential campaign. he could have avoided impeachment -- >> laura: he is investigating you as well i understand. correct? >> if he is, he has done -- he hasn't subpoenaed anything. question anyone. asked me. all they do is leak and then they do nothing. it's completely a smear job by people i think who were angry at me because i pointed out what a terrible job they did of the call in case. with their suggestions about the president been involved. remember number one, number two, all that unethical activity. i think they're quite angry at
7:21 pm
me for that. i mean, i ran that district. i'm probably the last u.s. attorney to really remember. >> laura: hey, rudy. >> i think i'm also the last one to go to court and try the case. >> laura: rudy can i move to what's happening on the attacks on her history. people say it's just a statue. it's just one statue in new york and it's teddy roosevelt. but what -- what is going on here? we have federal land in d.c. where there's clearly a plant and well-funded attack going on tonight in d.c. that's federal land. but it needs be cleared out. and protected no matter what. it has to be protected. otherwise the washington monument, lincoln memorial, world war ii memorial, what's next? >> well, over this weekend it should be quite plain to every
7:22 pm
american who can see through the propaganda that nt fun, black lives matter, the communists, and their allies are executing a plan they wrote about three or five years ago. in the manifestoes including black lives matter. they want to destroy our government. they wrote then they wanted to do away with the police and empty the prisons. they want to internationalize our government. they want to do away with our system. and they want to take away your property and give it to other people. this is an orchestrated effort. there is no longer a protest about mr. floyd. but ended a long time ago. this is an anarchist -- organized anarchist. supported with a lot of money. we had outbreaks in about 30 cities over the weekend there were well over 100 people wounded with guns and 25 americans killed over the
7:23 pm
weekend. that didn't happen accidentally, laura. that's part of a plan. and we better wake up to it and we better stop being silly. people who say they are favorable to black lives matter. lack lives matter wants to come and take your house away from you. they want to take your property away from you. they are anarchists and they are anti-american. >> laura: it's groups aligning themselves with violence in the streets. i don't care what you call yourself. if you are aligning yourself with the goals of violent anarchists and the street or if that is your goal, we have to make a change. rudy, thank you so much for the berman commentary and everything else going on tonight. and as i said, anarchists are storming lafayette square outside the white house tonight. people flew in over the weekend. they are trying to tear down a
7:24 pm
statue of andrew jackson and established their own occupied zone like they did in seattle. he's out at lafayette square with the latest. once again, at the center. kevin. >> suprem no surprise, right? i want to show you what happened here. that stands for block house autonomous zone. this is similar in theory to what happened in seattle, washington. for their own autonomous own. what's happening here is very interesting. to really see the spectacle of it. there are a lot of people -- i'm going to have you turned this way for me. there are a lot of people here who also have the exact same intention which is to say they want their own entente to miss
7:25 pm
zone. if you can believe it. you mentioned earlier that andrew jackson statue was torn down. we saw a law enforcement move everyone back. but not before that statue and seventh president of the united states was defaced. what i you are seeing now does e know, i have been out here when things get really dicey. there are still dozens of law enforcement officials in -- i don't want to say rioting. but i do see shields. we will be here for you. but for now, back to you. >> laura: kevin, thank you so much. it isn't just not safe. things are quickly deteriorating across the country. in seattle, violent crimes are
7:26 pm
way up. it's culminating in endless feuding that left 11 wounded ad one dead. still looking for suspects. what's worse? police say a violent crowd kept them from getting to one of the victims. shootings were up 368%. over the last week compared to the same time last year. on saturday night, the violence got so bad that the nypd reported one shooting an hour. chicago saw at least hundred people shot over father's day weekend. the most shooting victims in nearly a decade. sadly 14 of them were killed. putting a 3-year-old child. joining me now is bernie kerik.
7:27 pm
bernie, he just reported from lafayette park. it's been defaced. with spray paint. it was set on fire a few weeks back when i was there. it's a feeling of emboldened criminals who were taking advantage of -- i guess smaller police presence? a political situation where people are timid about going in -- i don't know? >> more emboldened. emboldened by governors, mayors, democratic governors, democratic mayors that have failed to do their job. they support the lawlessness. they support black lives matter. they support antifa. these marxists -- they are out
7:28 pm
there basically following their lead. and i think in that part i will tell you i would saturated with law enforcement. i would tell them they are to disperse and anybody who did not disburse i would lock them up. you know, i don't have the wor words. to describe the frustration, the anger that i have. and i am talking to americans all over the country that feel the same way. they are watching as our leaders, democrats and are not doing anything about this. the only person who has talked about it, the only person calling it what it is, is the president. everybody else is -- i don't know if they are running. >> laura: they are all afraid. but bernie come i have to ask you about this. you know the president wants to put an end to this. there is a political balance here, right?
7:29 pm
you can sense this is funded. they have gotten hundreds of millions of dollars from corporate interest, individuals, wealthy donors britt hundreds of millions of dollars have poured in to interests. they got all thos this money. this is a coordinated effort. this is not some organic -- oh, show up. no no no no, this is th a plannd organize effort. including that church -- it's a treasure. i mean, what should he do tonight? >> you know what, i think in these capacities like this park where it is federal land i think you move in the national guard. if i was in a position -- if i was in new york city for example. i was the police commissioner. i would have the police
7:30 pm
enforcing the laws. i would ask the governor of new york to give us eight to 10,000 national guards and i would secure everyone of these spots. every synagogue, every church, every monument. anything of historical value to the country. they should be secured. one of the ways to do it is with the national guard. anybody attacks them, anybody goes after them, lock them up. and start charging them federally. stop jerking around with locking them up and they are back in the morning. charge them federally a and get them off the streets. >> laura: i think some of these groups learning together -- it's a conspiracy to subvert the u.s. government. there are a lot of possibilities that people who spend all their time focusing on this issue -- i'm sure they can mull it over. but this is insanity. and they are pushing it now to the limit. this cannot be tolerated on
7:31 pm
federal land. if the state governors want to screw up their estates, i'm not sure what the president can do about that. but it's federal monuments on federal land. if that has to be productive. >> i think the attorney general -- he's arty churcdominic already directed i. they have to determine who's doing it. we want to know where they get the funding and anybody associated with them -- tied to them, they've got to go. >> laura: they are putting out the word now that stained glass has to be destroyed. do you know how many churches in d.c. alone in st. paul, minnesota, new york city, where is the cardinal? everybody has to speak up about this. these are u.s. churches. i'm just disgusted by this. >> it's not going to work out west. they go out west and start attacking churches, they are going to have problems.
7:32 pm
>> laura: thank you so much. great to see you. in an open letter he called blm and oxymoronic issues that doesn't address what most african-americans are concerned about. i know you are watching these further developments in washington tonight. one helped blm's cofounders said one of its goals is the removal of trump from office -- big shot. but that's not what we've been told before. it was supposed to be apolitical, correct? >> yeah, they said that before. they also came out and said they were trained marxists. it's important we have these corporations of over $460 million being extorted to support an organization such as black lives matter who do not
7:33 pm
care about those issues addressing the black community. they do not care about the economic opportunities out there. they don't care about the educational scholarships. they don't talk about the decimation of the family. they want to talk about, then talk about the planned parenthood clinics. that are located in black communities all across america. it was founded by white supremacists and racist. i think that's about time we push back against these organizations. >> laura: president obama said, i think what of his final messages as he was leaving office was keep organizing. stay out there. i'm not saying he's pushing the marxist element here. i don't know. i hope not. but he did urge people to keep the community organizing and so forth. one of the organizers of blm she said look, we are trained and the marxist ideology.
7:34 pm
this is what -- i guess she said marxist organizing. that's what they are doing. >> you are absolutely right. i find it very interesting that you don't have president obama coming out and denouncing his organization. truthfully, you don't have any democrat leaders coming out and denouncing this organization. i think it's also very important that we have republican stop being afraid, stop being concerned is being called a racist. just come out and say exactly what needs to be said. this is an organization that is supporting the undermining of our constitutional republic. this organization does not deal with the rule of law. it is all about the rule of the mob. it cannot be allowed to exist when you think about the rule of law and what we stand for in this republic and the united states of america. >> laura: they seek the utter destruction of america as we know it. this is not about reforming america. this is about taking it down to the bottom.
7:35 pm
so that they can rebuild what they think is the socialist marxist utopia, correct? >> you are exactly correct. we are five days away from fundamentally transforming the united states of america. you don't have to talk about progressive socialism anymore. you don't have to giv get peoplo believe it's true. it is a radical leftist party. these organizations that they have graded, founded by people who are out there stoking these fires of a rational emotionalism. they are seeking to do exactly what you said. against all enemies, foreign and domestic. so i see them now as an enemy to the oath that i took i took. >> laura: by the way, the seattle mariners said today that he wants to put an end to this autonomous zone because of the
7:36 pm
disorder and the violence. we told her it was going to happen, she didn't listen. and now they frankly have blood on their hands in seattle. is that progress? too little, too late if you asked me. great to see you tonight. >> thank you. >> laura: before we go to break, when i was out on friday night a script that was written said that some tallahassee officers had engaged in walking off the job in protest. that was incorrect. the tallahassee incident was not leaving the job but rather a coordinated walk out from a meeting with city officials. the reported walkout of about 100 officers occurred two weeks ago after they released the name of an officer involved in a shooting. "the ingraham angle" regrets the confusion. how will president trump protect statues from this eradication? next. woman: my reputation was trashed online.

7:41 pm
>> laura: it's time for our segment where we expose the big cultural stories of the day. for details, raymond arroyo. statues continue be targeted across the country. the president is promising to respond. >> you saw it ulysses s. grant. he's the one who stopped -- one that everyone dislikes so much. it's a disgrace. also, remember, some of this is great artwork. this is magnificent artwork. as good as there is anywhere in the world. as good as you see in france -- as good as you see anywhere. it's a disgrace. most of these people don't even know what they're taking down. >> we are going to do an executive order and make the cities guard their monuments. this is a disgrace.
7:42 pm
>> what form that executive order might take as a question. who knows. the president could appoint these statues as part of the national historic landmark. the national trust. we don't know. but it is certainly something he's clearly got on his mind. i'm sure the white house counsel's office is working on it. that is big news that we haven't heard yet. there is an executive order forthcoming. it is a question, certainly in my mind, how the federal branch can impose its will on these cities and municipalities. you see andrew jackson there being pulled down in lafayette square. people want action now. it's being threatened by riote rioters. but unfortunately in new york, the 26th president of the united states, one of our greatest, has been marked for elimination. the american museum of national history has announced it will remove an equestrian statue of
7:43 pm
your door at roosevelt from. now, new york governor andrew cuomo suggested the removal as an act of love. >> they think the statue in this environment is in bad taste. they want to take it down. i support their decision. the expression of outrage is great. the expression of love is great. and that's what they are really saying. level of her hate. unity over division. that's what they are seen, and they are right. >> look, laura. i know there are sensitivities about the composition of the statue. there is a black man and a native american man next to theodore roosevelt on horseback. but look, his father founded this museum. this natural history museum. the first exhibitions there were excavations that theodore roosevelt himself brought to the museum. and perhaps most tellingly, this is the first president to welcome a black man to the white house. for those reasons, i think you
7:44 pm
leave the statue where it is. interpret it, say why it was not racially sensitive. but you don't take it down. i worry about that. >> laura: look at the country, it's on fire. this is beyond worry, okay? this is absurd. this is caliban-ask. there is no site that is approved any of these actions. this is being run by a mob. and mob justice cannot rule. and it can't determine what our landscape looks like. now, what's ironic about these new york leaders taking -- you know, taking all the moral high ground. is that the state of new york is named after the duke of york who created a empire. so what does that mean? time to rename -- >> i guess
7:45 pm
they rename the city of new yo new york. until they find out something about cuomo unti they don't lik. this is breaking out everywhere. in los angeles, they tore down a statue -- actually, i believe it was in san francisco. of saint kuh a saint. he created the missions on the coast. he loved the native americans. and yet, they are pulling his statue down. he was made a saint in 2005. he also named san diego san bernardino. all of this was done by the sink. he is part of california histo history. things got worse in san francisco were a statue of the spain's premier writer.
7:46 pm
he was also a veteran and a himself for five years. >> laura: but they don't care about those. we can dissect every past of every figure was memorialized and bronzed or marble to the end of time. they don't care. >> well -- >> this is about chaos and totally undermining the american understanding of law and order. it's not about the lives of these men and women. >> it's good that president trump is focused on this. hopefully other local leaders and the people will get engaged. circle those statues themselves. this is part of our shared history. i know there are dark shadows in it, but it all needs to be exposed and explained and embraced as one america. >> laura: i guess the coliseum in rome has to be taken down obviously. and pretty much every national
7:47 pm
heritage site has to conduct -- this is just ridiculous. >> 2,000 years of murderers all around. you embrace it all. we needed all that history. >> you need that history. all they do is talk about how awful trumpets. where are they tonight? we could name them all, but i don't want to bore our audience. where are all the never trumpers? where are they? the crickets sound is overwhelming. they are all shrouds come i'm sorry. they are frauds, frauds, frauds. all right, that's it. i think i'm a little upset tonight. great to see you. and coming up, when you hear new cases of cobit are exploding, you are right to ask questions. after all the incorrect information we are being tried. in moments, the actual data and contacts between the latest hysterics you do will not want to message. itching for a treat.

itching for an outing... or itching for some cuddle time. but you may not know when he's itching for help... licking for help... or rubbing for help. if your dog does these frequently. they may be signs of an allergic skin condition that needs treatment. don't wait. talk to your veterinarian and learn more at itchingforhelp.com.
7:51 pm
7:52 pm
to see it spread this slide. >> laura: it sounds like a covid armageddon. to stay in your house, never leave. yesterday, the u.s. reported its lowest daily death tolls in the late march. and what about this explosion of new cases that the media keeps typing? in florida, the number of positive cases going up. but those instructed his falling. down from 65 in march to 35 today. and in texas, covid cases are plummeting. the committee to unleash prosperity and cardiologist and ceo of foxhall cardiology, phil. the narrative they are pushing is never in my mind very close to the truth. it's not holding up to scrutiny. to tell us. >> well, it would be nice if they were to report the bad news. they also report the good news. >> exactly.
7:53 pm
>> we are at a level of deaths we haven't seen since march. 285 today. obviously, sundays and mondays are little bit lower because of the weekend lack of effect. we haven't seen numbers like that. we should be celebrating. that should be leading the headlines. we are down about 90% and daily death. that's remarkable. the headline, don't even mention it. >> laura: it's quite illustrative and reassuring. it should be reassuring to people. because you see it slowly trending down. what does it mean when younger people are the ones who are getting it more often? >> welcome i think what it means is immunity is starting to develop. a lot of young curious people getting tested. but it's a very, very good sign. the other very, very good sign was just mentioned. it's that we are seeing icu bed
7:54 pm
