2:24 am
inference that she was the one who was wanting the logan act to be looked at and reviewed in this meeting, why is that so important? just last month on good morning america he completely deflected and said he had no involvement, knew nothing of the investigation. >> we are going to go to that. i want to show everybody that clip real quick. >> was there anything improper done? >> i nothing about those moves to investigate michael flynn. i thought you asked whether had anything to do with him being prosecuted. >> there it is and now you have some solid evidence. go into that. >> he was in direct meeting with the director of the fbi james comey, president obama discussing this, just not truth to what he said during that interview.
2:25 am
the second thing we need to look at is why the department of justice decided to drop the case against michael flynn and it is because there was no legitimate pretext to interview general flynn in the first place because comey on that day said they were never going to go with the logan act against him. they do it with cold water and it was a political ploy to get tied up in a 1000 one line to a federal agent which has we talked about is unfathomable it is happening. in 2017 in this day and age in our country. todd: looks like weapon icing governments which you are in control of against an incoming administration that they clearly did not like. we see where that goes with that comey part doesn't look good. bret baer had a big interview with christopher ray, director of the fbi. >> i think that ig report
