to millions of others. hysteria is the most communicable disease known to man. and we are now living through a pandemic of it. on memorial day weekend, a man called george floyd died in police custody in minnesota and that's where this outbreak first began. minneapolis was our wuhan. the first cases appeared a little over a month ago. here is the scene of the pandemic now.he >> it was just before midnight thursday when protesters began dismantling and toppling a statue honoring christopher columbus in civic center park. crews moved in and destroyed what was left. one processor climbing up the statue began spray painting its face and hands, possibly symbolizing blood, while others spray-painted the words george floyd, blm for black lives matter, and the communist symb symbol. they have just torn down this statue of christopher columbus. the statue has been here since

1931. >> tucker: so to translate what you just saw into the clinical language of epidemiology, holy smokes, this is getting really crazy. what does christopher columbus have to do with george floyd? christopher columbus was not a minneapolis police officer. christopher columbus was an italian navigator. who died more than 500 years ago. columbus probably never even heard of george floyd. he almost certainly didn't mistreat him personally. why are people attacking columbus statues? who knows. you are definitely not allowed to ask. questions are not permitted during hysteria epidemics. the logic of any kind seems to dramatically increase the severity of the symptoms. a patient may appear to be recovering from hysteria, speaking the nearly complete sentences, behaving independently on occasion, but then a single direct question will send him into a table spend, renewed attack of anarchist graffiti and hours of

hostile tweeting. itti is safer not to say a word. that is definitely the policy over at the center of republican conference on capitol hill. republican senators have decided not to disturb the patients even as they rampaged through americg destroying our culture and history.ur it's easier to give them what they want so that's what they are doing. ron johnson of wisconsin and james lankford of oklahoma republican senators and they propose legislation to abolish columbus day. they wanted to lead from the national calendar and replace it with juneteenth. it's a big change. americans and celebrated columbus day as long as we've had a country, since 1792. columbus day is a celebration of the nation itself. that's why it's a national holiday. juneteenth is newer. three weeks ago many people have never heard of it. even the media seemed oblivious to its existence. from 2012 to 2017, cnn did not mention the word juneteenth a single time on the air. barack obama was the president,

never tweeted about juneteenthee once during the entire span of his presidency, not one time. juneteenth commemorates the freeing of the american slaves. emancipation is one of the great moments in american history. that's why we consider abraham lincoln a hero. but paradoxically and this is odd, the people who are pushing juneteenth on the country do not consider abraham lincoln a heros they are pulling down his statues, along with columbus. confused? that is the nature of a hysteria outbreak. nothing makes sense. senators johnson and langford tbmay be confused as well. they describe themselves as conservatives, improbable as that may seem. on some level they may suspect that all the yelling about columbus day and juneteenth doesn't really have much to do with emancipation or civil-rights or likely is justuc another way to humiliate and demoralize americans. on some level they know that but they are ignoring it. it's easier to do with the hysteria patients. unless their voters noticed them

doing it. the boys weeks ago senator mike braun of indiana sponsored a bill to punish the police. at the moment that the country was undergoing widespread looting, arson and violence, rioting. then mike braun endorsedrs the radical racial separatist blm movement. at first, mike braun's constituents didn't seem to realize their senator had done any of this. but when they found out, they were enraged and they let him know about it loudly. now running away from his ownwn belt. if mike braun were up forik election this year, he would lose. senators langford and johnson are praying nothing like that will happen to them. they are hoping to quietly diminate columbus day and then move on to the next item on the rioters lists of demands.s will they be able to do that? it all depends on whether or not you let them know that you noticed they are trying to cancel columbus day. if you don't say anything about it, there is no telling what johnson and senator lankford might do next. the other day for example

"the new york times" ran a piece suggesting that we knocked down george washington statues and purge our country's founder from our collective memory. today the paper announced that we should consider closing mount rushmore because of course, racism. senators johnson and senator lankford haven't endorsed those ideas. it may not be long before they do. what otherio acts of revolution and cultural desecration can we expect from our suddenly woke republican senator friends? that's a good question. we're going to ask mark steyn in just a minute. what do you think they will do if you don't say anything? which holidays will they be canceling? obviously july fourth would be first on the list. is anyone on "the new york times" can tell you america is inherently racist and has always been there for celebrating independence is also racist -- no less racist. presidents' day. officially presidents' day is washington's birthday and as you just heard, he's evil, to evil to have a statue. how can he have a holiday?

have joined the other side. i have to ask you about the question of juneteenth. i think most people familiar with american history would say emancipation is one of the great moments in the entire 240 years of america. why are the people who say they support juneteenth against the person who made emancipation possible, abraham lincoln. they are tearing down a statue as they are demanding a juneteenth holiday. that doesn't make any sense at all. >> because it's about inflicting damage on the existing american order. so if you mean emancipation in the form of the lincoln statue that was taken down in boston, they are happy to see it go. emancipation doesn't mean anything to them. the juneteenth holiday is going to be the anti-july the 4th holiday. as far as republicans are concerned, i think republican senators should have their own emancipation day so that, the

to defend himself in that situation. and now cops in new york are saying is that still the case here in new york? can we do it. they are not getting clarification. cops cannot put their hands on anyone. howat do you make an arrest? how do effectuate any kind of arrest? what do you say to the suspect? please if you don't mind would you put your hands behind your back? this is what's going to happen. the police are going to respond to a scene. they're going to take a report. they're not going to get involved in the chase because if they get involved in a chase, first of all there is a target on their back to begin with. maybe they'll be ambushed like they were last week -- i forget what town that was in. and in the end, they're going to call the sergeant. the sergeant is going to call the captain and the captain wile call the lieutenant and nobody knows what's going on and it's a real problem. as homicides go up, arrester going down.

it's a very smart thing to doss and a much-needed thing to do. one of the best things the president could do. it would only work if it was watered down. the president's order includes a requirement that within 30 days the secretary of homeland security suggested changes to it, already we are being told omch companies and their allies in the white house are trying to use the 30 day review period is a way to fatally weaken the order and fill it with loopholes and exemptions. the tech industry is the single most aggressively left-wing part of the american business community. by far. this pushes being led by the country's wealthiest tech companies. apple, google, amazon. it's not hard to figure out why. all of these companies are happy

thousands of jobs for americans of all backgrounds. those stem classes your kids are taking, you know the college that you're paying for so they can work in the tech field, they are not going to get those jobs because they will be taken by foreign nationals. this might allow them a chance.m apple isn't fighting for diversity. they are doing exactly what they appear to be doing. they are trying to keep wages down and keep their workers compliant by importing labor from abroad. this isn't about diversity. it's about exploitation. it always is. the administration should not lafall for it.ho cases of coronavirus in texas are hitting new highs. hospitalizations are the highest they've ever been. one possible cause for that, texas officials say that every hospital patient with a coronavirus is being counted in their hospitalization total. even if c they're getting treatment for something completely different. that doesn't seem honest. what's going on? fox medical contributor dr. marc siegel has the latest.

hey, doctor. >> tucker, it's been widely reported that there is over 43,000 new cases of covid-19 yesterday. it's been widely reported that the south and the west been hard hit and it's been widely reported that texas, arizona, eecalifornia and florida are reversing aspects of their reopening. it's been widely reported that dr. tony fauci says we could see as much as 100,000 new cases per day. i'm not sure where that number comes from but that's what he says. that's all been widely reported. here's what hasn't been reported. as the case counts are going up, the death rate remained under 700 for 24 hours per day of new cases. why? why is that? because most of the people that are getting covid-19 now are young people and the cdc justti released a statistic that again was not reported. that of the last 15,000 deaths from covid-19, only 3.9% were under the ages of 44 years old.

the same group that is now spreading it in miami and spreading it in austin, texas, or spreading it in phoenix. that group has mild cases. it's been widely reported, as you just said, though the hospitalization rate is going out but it's not reported that it's not mostly covid-19. it's actually the cases that were there because of the reopening, because they are now getting the elective surgeries they need. cancer operations, heart disease operations, hernia operations. they are filling the hospitals. covid-19 is actually getting in the way of all that because the mild cases require isolation. it's not been widely reported dental nowow that our young peoe are bursting the bonds of all of this because of the excessive lockdowns. they are rebelling and it's not good public health because of how depressed and anxious they are of having been locked down. so tell me. let me ask a question. why? why is the whole story not being

debates because everything else is so scripted. terry mcauliffe's plan to keep joe biden in the basement is working fairly well. then hee comes out in the press really treated him with kid gloves. they were like wow, you're out and you're doing an event and your taking questions. we are so amazed. but everything else he does is very scripted. the videos, the tweets, everything like that. only place you're going to actually be able to test either candidate i think is at the debates. tucker, there is a scenario i could imagine where biden says i don't need to debate him. if, for some reason, they are convinced that they are so far ahead of president trump right going into the election, maybe they'll say we don't need to debate. but this race is definitely going to tighten. it will be a close race. i believe there will be debates. >> tucker: because you think the biden campaign, which is very cynical, i can't say that enough. you think the biden campaign thinks politically they have to

agree to a debate?ca >> yes, and he's already said he would debate. i think the only reason they would say they are not going to debate is if they think for some reason that they are going to be able to run away with this. that's just not going to happen. the numbers are not there. i think yes, joe biden's numbers and the polls look pretty good right now, but it's -- four months from now we will have the election. feels like it could happen in the blink of an eye but also we will have 4,700 news cycles until then. and a lot can happen between now and then. it's -- you solve president trump today trying to zero bag and on joe biden on major issues, mainly the economy, and warning people what could happen to them and the economy if they don't give them another four years and put biden in. >> tucker: yeah. it does seem like we have a right to see both candidates, all candidates speak in an unscripted way, responding to

are currently in thanks for the coronavirus lockdowns. if you are sending a kid to college this fall, it's particularly tough not just because you know that a liberal arts degree will likely hurt that child but because it's too expensive.a we have good news for you.l colleges are struggling too and that's always a good thing. some are desperate in fact. they have grown rich over decades by exploiting young people in this country but thanks to coronavirus, they have run out of money. college enrollment was alreadyle declining a now more students are taking gap years, foreign students are vanishing and others are waiting longer to finish their education. colleges are in trouble. some may fail. they are getting so desperate in fact, they are willing to do something they have never done before and that you didn't think possible: respond to markets. some have even given a last-minute tuition discounts. a recent piece in "the wall street journal" describes how you can get one. you just ask. make schools compete with each other on price, just like you

would with anything else. i know. quite a concept. one family in massachusetts got a 41% discount on tuition at aho school just by emailing the school. another student admitted to the university of miami initially received no discount but when she asked for a merit scholarship just after lockdowns began, the school gave herju $20,000. obviously the right answer is to avoid paying for college, find an option. if you're going to pay for college this fall, consider sending an email to the financial aid office. you've got nothing to lose. be tough in that email. it is a buyer's market right now in education. so keep that in mind. there's absolutely no reason you should be paying 70 grand a year all in to send your kid to a reeducation camp. news you can use, as we promised. that's it for us tonight. we are completely out of time. we have spanned the gamut all the way from eliminating columbus day to the end of chop to a new dawn in higher education which you have the
