10:00 pm
>> tucker: if you are right, i'll be impressed. dana perino great to see you. weekdays at 2:00 p.m. we are out of time, we hope you have the best evening. shelter from the ongoing storm, sean hannity is right >> sean: welcome to "hannity." tonight we are at a tipping point. everything that is exceptional, everything that's great about this country, the greatest country god gave man, our united states of america, i tell you tonight it's in jeopardy. in 118 days, guess what, you're the ultimate jury and the very way of life that we cherish in many ways is at stake. i will give a long explanation. everything we value and cherish like capitalism, liberty, freedom, the constitution, the rule of law hangs in the balance because the most extreme radical socialist democrats are planning, and they are saying it, to fundamentally transform and change america.
10:01 pm
they want to dismantle capitalism. they want to abolish the police. that would eliminate all law and order and safety and security. the very corrupt, very frail joe biden is controlled by these radicals. he is weak. he is often confused. he's easily manipulated, and now he's showing his true colors, and he will say and he will do anything he is told to do and say to win at all costs. breaking tonight: look at this. the biden-sanders socialist unity task force, well, they just released, oh, basically the platform of bernie sanders and they are proposing the dnc platform and it reads like, well, a radical socialist wish list. as president biden, he would grant citizenship to 11 million illegal immigrants. he would turn the entire country into the united sanctuary states of america. he would block i.c.e. from deporting even criminals in jail. biden would redistribute your money because of something we
10:02 pm
call environmental justice and of course the insane green new deal that he supports. get this. biden's task force actually copied bernie sanders' platform in multiple sections word for word. so in other words, biden also calls for universal health care through a public option. get this. he would eliminate cash bail for prisoners. that's working so well in new york, right? rob a bank. get out, rob another. get out, rob another. anarchist. get out, rob another, get back to the anarchy. right, joe, that's doing great in new york. that's madness, insanity and it does not protect the people in america's towns and cities. today during an interview with the far left website now this news, joe biden even stated the police, ready for this, have become the enemy. biden also said he's absolutely on board with defunding the police. listen closely.
10:03 pm
>> surplus military, and for law enforcement, they don't need that. the last thing you need is a armored humvee coming into a neighborhood like the military invading. they don't know anybody. they become the enemy. they are supposed to be protecting these people. so my generic point is that -- >> we can agree that we can redirect some of the funding? >> yes, absolutely. one of the things we also need to be doing is fundamentally changing the way, and i've been pushing it for years, changing the way we deal with our prison system. >> sean: remember, it was only a month ago biden rejected calls to defund the police. he did it in an op-ed and it just one month for biden to cave to the radicals of his party, if he even wrote or the loan remembers the topic of his own op-ed. instead of moving to the center for the general election, he is now regurgitating the hard left talking points from the extreme socialists who are among his top advisors, like bernie sanders and ocasio-cortez. need more evidence, because today biden also vowed to rewrite our economy. just like he said over the
10:04 pm
weekend he would transform america, whatever that means. take a look. >> we are going to have a breathtaking opportunity to create good paying union jobs, deliver the promise of america to americans who've been denied it for much too long. to rewrite our economy. so that prosperity flows not just to ceos but to workers who actually build the country. >> sean: rewrite the economy. socialist utopia. transform america. police are the enemy. defund the police. let me translate this for you. biden is talking about socialism, just like bernie, just like elizabeth warren, probably even worse than just like congresswoman ocasio-cortez. now we know what he meant when he said to transform america. that will be raising your taxes. it will be confiscation of wealth. that will be control of the means of production wherever possible and the elimination of the lifeblood of the world economy, oil and gas, and this
10:05 pm
is now the mission of the democratic extreme socialist party. this is what they want. this is what they are saying they are going to do. that is the proposal the biden-bernie unity socialist task force and biden who rarely leaves his own house, seemingly always in the state of confusion, well, he's a perfect candidate for these radicals because they will control him obviously. biden couldn't even remember what he was talking about while even apparently reading from the teleprompter. oh, this is taking me too long. take a look at this. >> i believe this with every fiber in my being. what i propose is... it can be done. i think we are in a position to really make it happen. my team and your team are already working closely together to light up the path forward here. critical laws to strengthen collective bargaining. on politics like prevailing. look, yes, i'm -- i'm taking too much time.
10:06 pm
>> sean: i propose that -- i propose. this is taking too long. do i have to keep explaining something that i don't even know what it is? we hold these truths to be self-evident that all men and women are created equal by the thing, you know. the thing. god, the creator of everything. that's brutal. that's actually hard to watch. does this man have the strength, the stamina, the mental acuity to take on what is the toughest job by far in the world? the answer to me is obviously no. frankly it's no to anybody with clear eyes that can see. the media once literally asked those very questions of ronald reagan in 1984. are they going to ask the same to biden? no, i don't think so because the mob and the media is treating biden like a fragile precious little artifact. new york "toilet paper" times actually calling for biden, mark levin has been saying it. rush has been saying this.
10:07 pm
i've been saying it. not to debate president trump. we know who will be in charge if biden wins in november. combined experience. biden, pelosi, schumer, 125 years in the swamp in d.c. trump less than four. they are fully controlled by their radical base. socialist will control the messaging. they will control the platform. they will control the strategy. they will control the ideas. they will try to literally transform america. if we become that socialist utopia, 94 trillion new green deal, 52 trillion medicare for all. guess what. those will all be broken promises and everything is free and no oil and gas to produce anything. we see this already happening in the house of representatives. the squad has introduced a bill to defund the police and, by the way, handout reparations. in a press conference yesterday, congresswoman omar said that her goal was to dismantle the united states. take a look at this.
10:08 pm
>> we must recognize that the systems of oppression are linked as long as our economy and political systems prioritize profit without considering who is profiting, who is being shut out. we will perpetuate this inequality. so we cannot stop at criminal justice system. we must begin the work of dismantling the whole system of oppression. >> sean: she's not the only elected official on the left openly calling for america to be destroyed. listen to this scary message from one of seattle's city council members. take a look. >> we are coming from this deeply oppressive, racist, sexist, violent, utterly bankrupt system of capitalism, this police state. we cannot and will not stop until we overthrow it and replace it with a world based instead on solidarity, genuine
10:09 pm
democracy, and equality. a socialist world. >> sean: there is no middle ground. the new radical democratic socialist party. they will destabilize not only this country but the entire world along with it. abolishing the police, you know the ones that protect grandma, grandpa, mom and dad. and let see, young moms that have kids at home, maybe the father is working. then they will see control over your property, money, business all in the name of fairness and redistribution and by the way to create their perfect utopia. the only problem is everywhere socialism in whatever form it's been tried has also failed. don't fall for these empty promises of everything is free because there's something called simple, basic, fundamental math. and maybe joe could put aside his abacus and actually calculator out and figure out that, let me be clear, socialism always will end in misery and despair, always and also they will take away your freedom in the process in the name of false
10:10 pm
security. he was more from the trump organization, donald trump jr. i never thought i'd be giving this list of proposals in the united states of america. don jr. >> man, sean, i don't even know what to tell you. you see this and what's even scarier is you see the media just running cover. for the last three weeks, they were telling us well, defund the police doesn't actually mean defund the police. it means something a lot different than that. and then aoc literally puts out a press release saying no, no, no. defund the police means defund the police. believe someone when they tell you who they are. okay, that is what the far left has become. there is no rationale anymore. it's clearly gone way beyond racism at this point because, you know, i don't see lincoln and grant as members of the confederacy unless i slept through that part of american history growing up. they've lost their minds. they have lost their way, and
10:11 pm
the radical left entirely controls joe biden of the party and let's not kid ourselves. i think you pointed it out more than clearly. no one believes joe biden is going to ever actually be the guy in charge of peoples this thing off, do they? >> sean: listen, don, he is saying the police have become the enemy. absolutely. he said we should defund them. i don't know who's going to protect the innocent american people. we see carnage and violence rising in every major city. then he's talking, he couldn't even remember his own words in his own teleprompter. oh, i'm taking too long anyway. why do i have to read this? too much effort. then he goes a little bit further. we lost 809 cops. they filed for retirement. he says he wants to transform the country. i guess this is division. he adopted bernie sanders' agenda. >> he said 120 million americans died from covid. the reality is joe biden doesn't know where he is. it's not even fiction anymore.
10:12 pm
on a daily basis he forgets what he is. he confuses his wife and his sister. he forgets the office he's running for. if donald trump did anyone of those things, sean, every television psychologist would be on the airwaves nonstop saying he's way past his prime. he is in the later stages of alzheimer's and dementia combined and yet with joe biden, there's nothing to see here, folks. let's not pretend. it would be sad if it wasn't so scary, sean, that this could be the guy that's actually in charge. again, the left will really be in charge but this guy could be a guy sitting the presidency. that should be scary to everyone. everyone watching should be scared that this nonsense is going to come to their hometown. it's not just happening in inner cities. it's happening everywhere, and the radical left will allow and will frankly perpetuate it with all of the nonsense they are pushing. >> sean: imagine if, like schumer, pelosi, biden, hillary, bill, that your dad had praised
10:13 pm
the former klansman robert byrd. imagine if your dad had used the term racial jungle and was worried that his children will grow up in a racial jungle of integration didn't happen in this orderly way that he talked about. imagine if your father had said i don't feel responsible. i'll be damned if i feel responsible to pay for what happened 300 years ago regarding reparations. imagine if your dad talked about, you know, people becoming predators the way he did with the crime bill. imagine any of these things happening, or his antibusing agenda or his position on integration and segregation. >> well, 100%. there is a lot of talk these days about privilege. i hear about it nonstop. the one privilege they don't talk about his liberal privilege. joe biden can do all of those things. he can say all of those things. he can flip-flop for his entire 50 year swamp career and still pretend he somehow man of the people. he's never really worked with the people.
10:14 pm
he'd only been a washington, d.c., bureaucrat. but that's a privilege they are not willing to talk about because it conveniently cuts against the left's narrative today. >> sean: all right, don jr., thank you as always. we appreciate your time. thanks for being with us. no secret why violent crime is spiraling out of control in america's major cities. democratic rule in these cities and states has been an utter, unmitigated disaster, has been for a long time. in many cases police now have completely abandoned -- been abandoned by city leaders. protections have been stripped and funding taken away. in recent weeks, good and decent police officers, they have been treated like pariahs by the very elected officials they protect. according to bozo beto o'rourke, the violence is being caused by a republican death cult. they have lost it. take a look. >> these are the same people who want us to accept that more people, including more children, will die of gun violence this year in america than in any other developed country
10:15 pm
bar none. it's just the price of quote-unquote freedom. we have tacitly accepted it, this historic, tragic level of gun violence in america continues to rise. we saw just over the weekend. many american cities, it's the same kind of difficult mentality that asked us to accept one quarter, 25% of the world covid cases. >> sean: the guy who wants to take your guns. not going to have police. he doesn't want you to have guns. he wants you to get them back. let's be clear. for many democrats the end goal is not accountability. it's not reform. it's not nonlethal, let's say, training for police officers, new weaponry that's nonlethal. instead the goal is abolish the police and take away the guns of law-abiding citizens like bozo o'rourke talked about when he was running and joe was partnered with him too. don't take my word for it. listen to a leader from the group black lives matter. take a listen. >> one of the things that we are
10:16 pm
demanding is defunding over five years to complete abolition. we don't want to see any police in our community over the course of the five years. five years gives time for the community to begin to build what is needed instead of police so that we are not looking to leave any kind of vacancy around the issue of safety. >> sean: build what? as the far left governments in cities and states, blue states all across the country, these activist, yeah, they are working hard to illuminate the police. well, that's not going to end well. those results are all too predictable. you don't need to be an mit or harvard graduate to figure it out. new york city, according to the pba, look at this. since may, 809 officers have filed for retirement because of the massive surge. the nypd is now having to limit retirement applications. what? you can't retire now, even
10:17 pm
though your time has come? to top that off, there's reportedly no new police academy for the foreseeable future. they did cut a billion dollars from the nypd just recently. nypd is shrinking. chaos is out of control. violence is way up. 100% spike in violent crime and according to the nypd all of july's shootings to date, the victims have been minorities. in june, 97% of shooting victims were minorities. their lives matter, comrade de blasio. you are not helping them. in los angeles, investigations are underway into what they call a blue flu. police calling out en masse. they don't want to show up to work. there have been similar reports out of atlanta where the mayor there, keisha bottoms, remember she just like seattle surrendered a part of her city to a group of armed gunmen. these armed individuals, well, they wanted to create their own police free zone near the wendy's where the rayshard brooks incident occurred.
10:18 pm
look at your screen. remember this, it happened live on this program. steve harrigan capturing the so-called police free zone right here on "hannity." now in unidentified gunman from the zone is a person of interest in the murder of this 8-year-old, again, america's children. america's treasure, secoriea turner. she was in a car with her mother that -- literally near that burned out wendy's, when a man opened fire on the car. she was 8 years old. beautiful little girl. by the way, mayor bottoms, this happened in part because of your horrific leadership. you prevented the police from restoring law and order and safety and security. that little girl is now dead. that is beyond, you know, forgivable to me. it's a national disgrace this keeps happening. atlanta's mayor is no better than her far left counterpart in seattle, mayor durkan. just a short time ago, durkan allowed the chop, chaz, summer of love zone to fester until, what, two african-american

life. it's what allows us our freedom. the second part of this is how this goes to the heart of the credibility of the black lives matter movement. yes, we think black lives matter. but the reason their credibility is breaking right now is they are picking and choosing which lives really do matter. why don't the black police officers that have been shot or have been chastised, why don't their life matter? how about the black store owner whose business burned down? his life matters. what about the families who are in threatened areas that need law enforcement to keep them safe? what about those six children that died over the weekend? those black lives matter. so why are we picking and choosing which ones matter? they are losing credibility in this movement. you know, i know about dirty cops. in south carolina, we had to deal with the shooting of walter scott. we brought law enforcement together. we brought the scott family
