joe biden sounds a lot like donald trump did in 2016 when talking to this crowd. what did you make of that speech? >> joe biden is a moderate, talking about trade and creating jobs and infrastructure is music to moderates years and possibly republicans trying to decide between one candidate or the other or independents. joe biden is a moderate. someone will get left out and i think it will be the left. if the left is looking forward, wishing joe biden will become a leftist overnight i don't see it happening. he is going for the independent, republican voter. rob: let's listen to joe biden. >> donald trump loves to talk and talk and talk, but after 3 and a half years of big promises, what do the american people have to show? rob: he gets up there and

insults the president and in a lot of ways is stealing his economic platform at the same time. what do you make of that? >> i felt i was back on the campaign trail covering the trump campaign. is messaging about fair trade, manufacturing, even talks about when the government contract with different companies, american taxpayers to american companies keep that money here, a nationalist populist message donald trump delivered that resonated with voters. he saw what hillary clinton failed to do and is tapping into that. it is a problem, the president needs to be in the background states which he barely won in 2016. rob: joe biden watched a lot of jobs disappear from the country. i will give you the final word. >> it will come down to people need to step aside.

why would you want the convention to take place in your county? >> our mantra since the first wave has been this. we cannot keep opening and closing everything up. the culture is dying around us, the economy is dying. we had a decrease in cases. i look at the daily active how many are reported and also how many deaths and what kind of death they are. we just hit 40 deaths in our county, we have 1000 active cases, 36 of those cases are in the hospital, 36. where is everybody else? at the house. this idea of adding case after case, we added 92 cases yesterday. do you know how many recoveries?
