demanding a legal review on the commutation saying there appears to be a reasonable indication that criminal activity has occurred, your duty to pursue equal justice under the law requires you to conduct a thorough review of the circumstances surrounding the commutation and uncover any evidence suggesting donald trump issued this commutation in return for his refusal to cooperate with investigators to protect the president. will that happen? we haven't heard from william barr or the doj on that and nancy pelosi said she wants legislation to limit the president's power to grant clemency and pardons, no indication that is getting any steam either. shannon: thank you for that update. judge janine says the commutation was appropriate because she says his conviction was a miscarriage of justice. take a listen. >> the president has always been transparent, very clear about what he thinks, says what he means and means what he says and i think the commutation of the

sentence was appropriate given this judge was clearly biased, the for woman of the jewelry clearly not just biased but i believe that she did not tell the truth under oath. we are living in a time when there are those not interested in justice that people asked over the years but would rather make a political statement out of every case. >> reporter: democrats blasted the commutation as an impeachable offense that flies in the face of the rule of law, donald trump blasting america's democrat mayors for anti-police rhetoric. >> reckless politicians have the famed our law enforcement, far left mayors are escalating anti-cop crusade and violent crime is spiraling in their cities. it is all far left cities where

1:09 am
come down to donald trump's handling of this pandemic. >> this election is about coronavirus, this election is about coronavirus more than the 2004 election was about the iraq war and the 2000 election was about the financial panic of that year. that is what this is about, trump has got to get serious, he's got to stay focused, no more unforced errors if he wants to get back in this race that he is currently trailing in that he can seems to get his arms around the idea this election is a test of his capacity to deal with this. rob: donald trump issued a report of internal conflict with the nation's top infectious disease expert saying he has a good relationship with anthony fauci. >> an air force pilot ejecting moments before the f-16 jet crash lands overnight. it happened at holloman air force base in new mexico 90 miles northeast of el paso. the pilot flying a jet like this one is being treated for minor injuries, the fifth air force fighter jet crash since may, no

1:17 am
international terrorists relating to their financing, membership in the organization, material support the organization to effectively address these types of groups. shannon: jillian: i want people and screens look at this. this is the he and w youth liberation front because of the feds and portland police, they are very quickly finding out that if they build a fortress and use literal siege tactics for people will put their blanking fortress under siege. what is your reaction to that? >> advocating violence and using violence and illegal property damage to achieve their political goals, that's a nice way of putting it, they just want total anarchy. you can go after these organizations as a terrorist organization. they have communications, name,
1:18 am
people who follow certain leadership on their social media sites, they are a scary organization. they've committed arson with people inside police building, a building that was minority business owned. they have no boundaries. todd: something i hear is how did they get like this? how do these teens reach a point where they joined an organization like this? any explanation? >> it fits the profile of all individual terrorist organizations, they seem to not fit in, they are angry about something, it can't be their fault so they create an ideology that says it is someone else's fault and they band together, very loosely, hard to define the organization itself but many people who are drawn to these causes are looters, people who are already committing illegal acts prone outside the law. >> how impactful is social media
1:19 am
when it comes to something like this? in some situations negatively, in others positive but when you look at a situation like this what is the impact of social media? >> social media is a tremendous recruiting tactic, you can draw so many people in with the façade of a legitimate ideology and once you are on the menu find out who the hard-core members are who are out committing violent acts. i'm not seeing everybody who follows them on social media sites are terrorists but there are many committing violent acts and trying to force their ideology on other people. jillian: thank you, have a good day. todd: protesters tearing down statues for weeks that our next guest has a warning about the mob mentality.

>> the left ramping up its push to defund police or remove symbols deemed offensive from across politics and pop culture but our next guest is they should prepare for pushback from americans who are tired of being told what to think. >> re:happening for joe biden, liz tate joins us with a message, thanks for being here. >> thanks for having me.
1:24 am
>> in this op-ed one of the lines that i found interesting is you say biden caters to the most progressive wing of his party and repudiates america's greatness illegal narrow further. how far left the you see him going even in the next few months? >> reality now on his economic plan he teamed up with bernie sanders and adopted a great many of the sanders worn approaches to business. when he starts talking about getting rid of shareholder capitalism and transforming the nation those are red flags. i don't think most americans want the nation transform. i don't think they want to get rid of economic system which is provided the greatest increase in wealth, income, and opportunity any country has ever offered the world. the reason we have millions of people knocking on our door trying to come to this country is because it is a system. people have a shot at success, that the kind of thing bernie sanders, alyssa foreign and joe biden want to dismantle. it extremely foolhardy. >> biden's lead over trump, two
1:25 am
different polls, that is an 11 point lead back in may and now look at that, july, only about four points, you attribute this backlash to leftist mob rule. why? >> i don't think like the idea of the funding the police and those democrats have danced around this. the other day in an interview joe biden said yes, he would be happy to reallocate some police funding to other democrat prior is like housing and so forth. that is fine but what americans seen the last several weeks is the whole anti-cop movement has resulted in unprecedented surges in homicides and criminal activity and a lot of our liberal cities, i don't think americans are on board with
1:26 am
one-year-olds being shot to death in new york city our children being murdered in chicago and atlanta so they perceive this to be hypocritical. if we care about black lives and all lives we've got to have a law enforcement architecture that protects people. at the end of the day people want to be safe. all people want to be safe and this is going too far. they are looking at what is happening in seattle, portland, who can possibly celebrate that. defunding the police is a real red line democrats should not cross and some have. i also think the destruction of public monuments, a lot of his ignorance, they are tearing down statues of people like frederick douglass who are iconic figures for abolition and so forth and it is public property, criminal activity. jillian: we are running out of time and i want people at home to see this, this goes to your
1:27 am
point, what people are on board with were not, take a look at this. research center survey, 5000 adults between june 16th and 20 second and you can see the question, 3 quarters of americans think police spending should stay the same or increase, 42%, nearly half say it should stay the same, 20% say it should increase in a little bit. what do those numbers say to you? >> people want to be safe and they now police historically have been very much loved by americans and there are some bad apples and reforms necessary but let's not go crazy here. people want this country to be a safe country and they want the police to be there for us. >> thank you for joining us. it is 27 after the hour. the heartbroken family of a one-year-old boy shot and killed speaking out to fox news.

>> i can't get that back, can't hold him no more coming him daddy no more, can't say with him no more, got to put my son in the ground now and he is only one. the cowards that did this. >> you should be ashamed of your self. everybody talks about black lives matter, what about baby
1:32 am
lives? an innocent child from a baby and mother as well as grandparents, i don't think it is fair. todd: the father and grandmother giving an emotional interview on fox news last night, the baby shot and killed sitting in a stroller during a brooklyn cookout. the suspect still on the loose right now. the benevolent association tweeting we can't continue to let innocent children, a child just a year old call fall victim to reckless gun violence, we need to stay united against this. jillian: it is one of many examples of tragic violence plaguing usbs, yesterday donald trump called out liberal leaders over the spike in violence. >> under vicious assault far left mayors escalating the anti-crop crusade and violent crime is spiraling in their cities.
1:33 am
it is all far left cities where they have no understanding of what has to be done. they don't have a clue. new york city is out of control. jillian: in new york city shootings were up 11% for the weekend compared to this time last year. our next guest is a retired nypd lieutenant who says city leaders need to wake up. thanks for being here. that emotional interview talking about the one-year-old shot and killed in brooklyn at a bbq sitting in a stroller is absolutely heartbreaking. bill diblasio says bringing communities and mip together when talking about this tragic situation, a family without a son. how do you bring nypd communities together because you hear leaders saying we need to do this but i'm not seeing plans put in place.
1:34 am
>> he is such a sony. i'm heartbroken for the parents and grandparents of that child. we've seen so many times before and you're going to see it continue, if this trend continues with lawlessness this man put more effort into painting black lives matter on the streets in front of trump tower just to make is point but in the background these politicians don't care what is really going on. they see it as part of the cost of getting their movement ahead and it is ridiculous and without the cops being the first line of defense the way they have to be this is going to continue. nobody wants to see this and i agree with the union there has to be union between the community and the police department. without that 1-2 punch you have nothing and when the cops are handcuffed this is the result and this isn't just in new york. this is across the united states. we are seeing police officers
1:35 am
wayne, the one in washington dc, names keep going on that and this is going to happen in these politicians are more concerned with their political agenda than getting the job done they were elected to do. it is not just presidents but everything across the board, when they sneak in bail reform in the middle of the night, people have no idea, they wake up in the morning and say we got bail reform, this is their plan and they just want a bunch of lemmings that will follow them around. >> is a quote from eric adams, the brooklyn borough president and former cop on bringing back the violent crime unit and he says, quote, i think the total elimination is something we need to reevaluate. bad guys are saying if you don't see blue and white you can do whatever you want. you and many others were against this when it initially happens but how important is it? >> so important because it is a
1:36 am
war on crime, the way you infiltrate certain areas you need your anticrime, your street crime, you need to get in the trenches and find out what is going on. they look for blue and white and see them passing by, they know they are the only ones on the street and are emboldened to do whatever they want, you need to come back to a time where everybody was in unison to get the city and make the city great. it is spiraling out of control and this man at the helm can't do anything about it. he has his own agenda. we need another mayor like rudy giuliani. i don't care if it is democrat, republican, get somebody to stand up to these thugs in the political agenda and say my city needs to become safe and i'm the person to do this and i want my police department. without that you will never have
1:37 am
the call him you need, you need to do the job that is required. jillian: thank you for your time and insight. >> the atlanta community plans to go door-to-door with flyers looking for tips leading to the killer of an 8-year-old girl. zachariah turner killed while sitting in her mother's car on the fourth of july, police released surveillance images of two people of interest, a reward for any information leading to an arrest has been bumped up to 50,$000. any derek and slamming the plan to defund the police by 50% calling it irresponsible. derek and says proposing a more modest $76 million cut in the police budget, her funding cut

1:39 am
development of centrifuges used to caused significant damage the facility and could push back the country's nuclear aspirations by the year. iranian officials believe a cyberattack caused that fire earlier in the month though in easton intelligence official told the new york times israel planted a bomb in the facility. publicly iran is trying to downplay the incident. >> it was a warehouse for preparing some items. it is not been installed. the incident that occurred has not had a significant effect on activities there. they will be immediately reconstructed and replaced. >> as iran vows to investigate and retaliate against whoever is responsible, the news broke this week with iran and china are planning to enter into an investment in security pact worth $400 billion, that deal would be 25 years and like that reportedly push chinese investment into iran's energy sector.

1:46 am
america to exercise true powers and get where we belong on the world stage if biden becomes president. >> let's look at what biden's american leadership foreign-policy plan has again. this is from his campaign and includes the following, end forever wars in afghanistan and the middle east, global coordination of the coronavirus response korean to the paris climate agreement, reenter the iran nuclear deal, terminate muslim travel ban, raise refugee admissions. look at the first we see donald trump has been clear he too wants to end wars in afghanistan and the middle east and everybody wants the coronavirus to go away. what stand out to you on that list and why? >> reentering the suicide pact they call the paris climate accord would destroy the us economy, not like we didn't get enough damage done by the

coronavirus the to go ahead and hamstring ourselves in order to make the rest of the world feel good is insanity. one thing that is not mentioned is the fact that he is completely compromise on china due to the fact that he got his son hunter $1 billion from the chinese invested in hunter's hedge fund. whatever information they have and whatever feelings he hasn't has shown towards china in the current environment we need someone who can be tough with them, that's donald trump, not joe biden. >> it will be fascinating to see if that hunter biden story gets anymore legs the closer we get to the election. so far seems it is dying on the vine with so many other distractions in our world, appreciate your insights, thanks very much. >> police officer getting praise for his act of kindness, take a look.

jillian: voters need to take a chance on kanye west this november, calling out joe biden and young liberals focusing on ousting donald trump. todd: carley shimkus is here with how it is going down on the socials, quite an endorsement. >> the grammy award winner set off a firestorm on social media by throwing his support behind kanye west tweeting are you more pro biden are anti-me and why? you are just trying to get trump out but in this hypothetical scenario where you are replacing trump could explain why joe biden would be better, responses
1:53 am
begin pouring in, many people point out kanye west's list experience and the fact that he openly supported donald trump in the past, blake tweeting the wrapper points out the general sentiment that biden hasn't been the best for our people but to endorse kanye for president is dangerous and careless, no preparation and entering his name in the ring at a suspicious time. more positive response was twitter user whose is good for you but watch your back, you may be canceled. a few hours after his initial tweet he posted this follow-up come his final assessment on the situation saying i understand the improbability of kanye winning the 40 sixth presidential seat and understand everyone voting for biden isn't doing so enthusiastically. this is something we talk about on "fox and friends first". he could have saved himself a of trouble and he just watched our show. jillian: if you make a commitment to something the worst you can do is just not show up.
