monologue. when we look at the enemy and the china government did to the american people by hiding the facts. we are having to pay the consequences for their lack of transparency. the american people aren't going to just sit back and take it and this president isn't going to do that either. judge jeanine: the president has repeatedly talked about the imbalance in terms of trade. and recently the hong kong autonomy act and the sweeping executive order calls for various sanctions and restrictions against china as a result of what it did to hong kong. can you give us an idea what those restrictions are? >> basically, it's trying to make sure hong kong doesn't get special preferential treatment. we'll treat them like we would any other city in china.
12:11 am
this president is willing to tackle it. what they are saying is, they don't value freedom and democracy. we see that from the way they conducted themselves not only with regards to the trab -- the transparency and this virus epidemic we are facing in he city across the country and around the world. but we also see it in the way attorney general battorney gene. this president is willing to negotiate with them. but he's also willing to hold them accountable if they are not willing to live up to the deal he put forth. i get to hear each and every day where this president says why has previous administrations not addressed china in their take over of american businesses and property.
12:12 am
we have to make sure we hold them accountable and the president is willing to do that. judge jeanine: before i get to john lewis. the other administration seemed not to care or recognize the deficit in terms of trade. the president got a good trade deal. then it all went caput when the virus was unleashed. unfortunately as a result of that, we still don't have businesses and telephone companies within theouts who are as i said in my open, effectively lobbying for china. >> they are lobbying for china. i think it's time we act as americans and bring back a lot of our supply chain from overseas. you mention about some of that personal protect idea equipment that was sent to other countries
12:13 am
and was defective. i was talking teen am bass cour- talking teen am bass court other day and he said it was under quality by any standard you look at. and they are asking them to applaud them for their efforts. this administration won't do that. bring back that manufacturing, protect american jobs and make sure we hold china accountable. judge jeanine: clearly it's been a priority of this president. but let's move on to the death of the civil rights icon, john be lewis. you worked with him. what is the impact in washington and on america? >> obviously you are right. he's a civil rights icon. i did have the honor and privilege of serving with him in the house of representatives. and literally the icon that he
12:14 am
is, you would think he's understated if you met him in person. always engaging and willing to take time to talk to students when they would come to visit. i think more most people it's a reminder:we are willing to stand for what we believe in and we are willing to be steadfast in that belief, we'll be remembered not just for what we did, but we'll be remembered long after we die for the difference we made. i only hope and pray it can be said of so many of us that we can make a real impact on behalf of our fellow man. >> if you think about him and the fight he waged, alongside march continue luther king, you have to wonder how frustrated he might have felt at the end of his days as to what was going on in america. it's as though on the streets of america, did he feel -- do you
12:15 am
think he had a feeling that, you know, more needs to be done or this was a fight that was already waged? >> i think, you know, for john, i don't know that i can speak on what he was thinking in these last days. he's been battling an illness that ended up consuming him. but what i will say is for the vast majority of americans. what we can support is peaceful protesters willing to stand up for a cause. what we won't tolerate and what we shouldn't tolerate is the anarchy we continue to see in some of our cities across the country, even tonight in the streets of portland and other cities where tragically it is not about a peaceful protest with a message. many times it's hard to describe what the message is. the other thing that's troubling that we have to come to grips with, the senseless killing that
12:16 am
continues to happen in our main city whereas we have kids and grandkids, their lives are taken too early for senseless gun violence that has become epidemic in some of our larger cities. we have to make sure law and order is restored there. attorney general barr, and the president of the united states are fully engaged. you will see more on that in the coming days. judge jeanine: chief of staff mark meadows. good to have you on. >> great to be with you, judge. thanks so much. judge jeanine: is it safe to send your kids back to school in just or a month? dr. robert hariri is here with information. what does fbi director christopher wray have up his sleeve? guys, it's that time... and nothin's happenin'.

senator, welcome back. yesterday you unearthed previously undisclosed fbi documents which shed new light on the fbi and it's not always honest assessment of what they knew and when they knew it. hit us. >> number one, i want to thank bill barr for declassifying these documents so the american people can read them for themselves. one is a 40-page memo written by an intel analyst and case agent who interviewed the russian sub source and prepared the information for the steele dossier. that 40-page memo shreds the reliability of the dossier. they talk about it's all bar talk, with it's all hearsay, none of it is firsthand. the dossier was continued to be used by the fbi months after

this interview to get two more warrants against carter page. i will be shocked if somebody does not go to jail now for defrauding the fisa court. those people who submitted the warrant application in april of 2017 and june of 2017, months after the interview of the sub source saying it was garbage. they should be candidates to go to jail. judge jeanine: for previously uniformed striped justice. the sad part is, the subsequent warrants be signed by the fisa court were i believe 6 months apart. so they had them for a significant amount of time they had that information. one of those people was rod rosenstein. >> rosenstein said he didn't

know anything about it. but the dossier was crucial in getting a warrant against carter page. the i.g. said it was a critical piece of information that allowed a warrant to be issued. in january of 2017, after three days of interviewing the russia sub source that prepared the dossier. a 40-page memo was written by the fbi intel analysts. to the intel analyst and the case agent. who did you tell about this stunning development? who did you provide the memo to? did you tell anybodyb above you, the dossier is a bunch of garbage? how could it be used months after this interview. if they night was unreliable they will be going to jail. i can't believe the case agent and intel analyst wrote a

40-page memo and never told anybody about it. judge jeanine: wasn't that their m.o.? i can tell you most of the viewers watching and listening right now are saying we knew it, we didn't know what you you be earthed. but that's more evidence. when are they going to jail? >> i think durham is looking at this. i want to call the analyst to put the document together. i want to ask him and the case agent who interviewed the russian guy. who did you tell in the fbi. it's impossible for me to believe mccabe and comey didn't know about this. the second document that was released, this comment by peter strzok february 15, 2017. there was not any evidence a member of the trump campaign was talking or working with the
12:25 am
russians contrary to what the "new york times" article alleged. what did we learn from these two documents? the "new york times" is corrupt as hell when it came to reporting on trump. judge jeanine: i want to ask you something. the "wall street journal" talked about the fact that christopher wray is bringing in a new counsel, general counsel for the fbi, a guy by the name of i believe it's jaeson jones. the only reference in the "wall street journal" article is this is christopher wrays former partner from his old law firm. we had a source who says not only is this guy, christopher wray which i always thought was in the deep state, that this guy they are bringing in is a partner with rod rosenstein in the firm of king and spaulding.
12:26 am
and rod rosenstein we just talked about who got warrant on unverified information that he knew was unrare tide. way is bringing in another partner from rod rosenstein's firm an and -- and sally yates' firm. >> that's the first i have heard about it. i will get back with you. it raises a lot of questions that need to be answers. judge jeanine: the king is falling. very quickly on john lewis. your thoughts? >> john was known for causing good trouble. that's what he described the civil rights movement. peaceful protests. being hit in the head for a worthy cause. that's different than what you

see playing out in the streets of the united states. john lewis loved america and wanted to make it better. our seeing today is people who hate america and want to change it. but he will be missed. judge jeanine: thank you so much. the facts on the coronavirus and schools reopening. dr. robert hariri straight ahead. first, should the president's supporters be worried about the shake-up in the reelection campaign? dan bongino and corey lewandowski join me next to put things in perspective. stay with us. president said his

12:33 am
kellyanne conway, and it was even later in the election year. everyone was saying it's imploding. the handwriting is on the wall. what's your take on what's going on now? >> this is just the media's overreaction. the difference here is brad parscale as we recognize as a digital expert, someone who built the campaign's digital operation in 2016 is refocused on that in 2020. overseeing the day-to-day operations. he understands strategy. he will focus on the grassroots activities. with the help of brad parscale. so this isn't a major shake-up like the press wants to report.
12:34 am
judge jeanine: it's even earlier in the campaign season. but interestingly enough it's similar and it all worked out for the best in 2016. >> that's exactly right. it worked out for candidate trump in 2016 and it will work out for president trump in 2020. joe biden is still hiding in his basement. once he comes out the race will start. once we have a debate and the president destroys joe biden on the debate stage. judge jeanine: dan, what's your take on the trump campaign imploding. >> how many times have we heard, the walls are closing in. the walls are closing in. come on. i don't take any of that seriously.

on the polling in 2016. the phenomenon of the hidden truck voter is very real. i ran in florida. i get a walk list of republican voters. i walk by these houses with trump signs and they are not on my list. i knocked on the door and said hey, do you vote? >> never. >> are you voting now? you damn right i'm voting now. it would take a nuclear war to keep me away from the polls. on my podcast the night before the election i said if trump loses florida i will jump off a bridge. i knew those voters were out there. the only question is do they show up again? there is a pretty good chance they do. judge jeanine: there is even more reason to be quiet than

there was in 2016. you get the hell beat out of you if you show up in a maga cap. in democracies as things are absolutely exploding, especially the democrat-held cities. what impact is that going to have on the election? >> it will be devastating for biden. bouquet os is not a message. biden was crystal clear in that interview. when asked if he was willing to take money away from police. he said yes. people act like youtube and video players don't exist. president trump is the law and safety candidate. judge jeanine: the new york city cops, there was a peaceful protest wednesday with black and hispanic clergy along with the

nypd marching together. these instigators got involved. getting the highest ranking officer in new york city. the individual arrested for that was let out on bail almost immediately. what impact will that have on the election. >> he was let out without bail. what world are we living in? this is a law and order society. we have a law and order president. a man who stands with the men and women who wear the shield every day to protect us. the opposite of that is joe biden. he wants to take the billion dollars deblasio wants to defund the police with. you take money from one thing and gift to something else. we call that defunding. this president has shown through endorsing just this week from the fraternal order of police,
12:38 am
he's the law and order candidate. judge jeanine: he's the law and order candidate, and joe biden is trying to dance a thin line. what about the impact very quickly, dan, do you think joe biden will ever come out and debate the president or will he hide behind his mask in his basement? >> i think he has to. the president really needs that. biden will be a disaster on the stage if he even knows he's on the stage. it will be a total train wreck. judge jeanine: if he knows what he's running for. >> if i'm his advisors i say stay in the basement. that's the only place where you can't continue to make as many gaffes. with early voting these debates will have to transpire after tens of millions of people have potentially voted. i think that's a disservice.

us. i would like to start with the question that a great many americans have on their minds right now. that is, is there justification for kids to go back to school? what are the risks, and what are the benefits? >> judge, thanks for having me. one of the most crucial questions you have to ask at the outset of an infectious disease like the new coronavirus is how deadly is this new disease. in the case of coronavirus the first information we got from china was terrifying. if you remember early on we thought this might be a virus that could have a lethality of 5 to 10%. that means somebody you know will die from this disease. though this is a bad bad virus. it's ruthlessly lethal against the elderly and infirm. but it's sparing the younger
12:45 am
population. in fact kids for the most part will do very, very well, in many cases won't even experience any symptoms if infected. if they do experience symptoms they tends to be mild. that's something that's heartening when we think about having our kids rush to the classroom. >> why is there so much pushback by the teachers' union saying it's not safe. is it more safe for kids to be in school or at home? that's separate and apart from the covid issue. >> so what we know is this. we know that covid-19 is extremely limited in its lethality for children. in fact on the list of the 10 most common causes of death in the 5 to 24-year-old population, covid doesn't make the top 50.
12:46 am
what is true is a child from 5 to 24 is 88 times more likely to dive an accidental injury rather than a covid infection. from 5 to 14, children are five times for likely to die of influenza. the seasonal flu than covid. though the teachers union is quite concerned children might become infected at school, perhaps transmit the disease back to the house hold. nothing is preventing that from happening even if they are existing among their peers and parents and so on. teachers can take steps to pretext themselves. they can use isolation shields and social distancing tools. but the specific risk to children 5-24 is extremely low. judge jeanine: is it -- if you were to use the cdc's lethality
12:47 am
rate in assessing the percent and of covid deaths, right now john hopkins is saying 3.9%. what say you. >> the way you calculate the infection fatality rate is divide the number of deaths by the denominator, which is the number of people who have been infected. we simply don't know. we can't measure everyone to know who has been infected. if you use the same tools the cdc uses for influenza, where they estimate the total number of people who get infected during the season and use that as a denominator, we are looking at an infectious fatality rate slightly above the seasonal flu. but the numbers aren't out yet. judge jeanine: we are coming up

judge jeanine: a new book released this week appropriately titled "fallout" contains revelations about the uranium one deal. joining us, john solomon, who is probably the one person we can thank for digging deeper than anyone when it relates to what was going on with the fbi. one area in particular, the sale of uranium done by the obama-biden team to a russia-connected company that bill clinton made a half million dollars cash to give a speech in

department, were all told this company they were about to give uranium one two, they were crooked and involved in criminality on our soil here in america. judge jeanine: they made derogatory comments about president obama. >> the entire russia collusion story is a cover-up for the foreign policy failure of the obama-biden russia reboot. hillary clinton * helped them build their own silicon valley. they were sitting around with the fbi informant laughing, we can't believe how easy it was to get all this stuff from your president. they used derogatory terms about obama. judge jeanine: i think we had a full screen of some of the stuff they were saying about the president and about the united
