day lives, americans, numerous polls say the majority of americans do not trust the federal government to solve problem. joe biden has been clear about the desire to grow government and i spending, $26 trillion in debt, $775 billion plan the biden administration - a preschool for all tight plan that is included in this proposal would bust the budget and create armies of government workers. the top-down programs we need to create before we realize government is not the solution to economic woes. these programs just make things worse and it is nearly impossible to get rid of these programs or eliminate them once you create them. governmentally grows, more government is always the solution.
1:36 am
joe biden does not understand the private sector, never created a private-sector job in his life. jillian: when it comes to caregiving, low and middle income tax credits for childcare, limited medicaid waiting lists for community services. as we mentioned, $775 billion, interestingly enough if you look at the fox news poll joe biden is leading donald trump on the economy by one percentage point, that changes, other polls have different numbers. the problem and frustration, joe biden does not take a lot of questions when he does the speeches and a lot of americans do have questions, do a better job. >> he should be answering questions but looks like he will try to hide in his basement
1:37 am
until election day but i expect polls to shift as the economy bounces back. we don't boost the economy with massive spending bills and tax hikes. get the government out of the way and that the private-sector do what it does best. if we want people to have money for childcare, want them to get better jobs we should reopen schools and the economy as quickly as possible. in a democratic primary joe biden was touted as a moderate. he is not a moderate at all. his healthcare plan is obama care on steroids, he wants to spend $2 trillion on removal energy infrastructure. his party is being held hostage by radical left-wingers and no indication he's willing to push back on those radicals. jillian: the overview of the proposal costs to us manufacturing of $700 billion to create infrastructure and energy, $2 trillion in education and caregiving, $775 billion.
1:38 am
that is not a moderate plan. how far left will he go in the next few months? >> i think joe biden might be a trojan horse for radical leftism. we won't know how true that is until and unless he gets in office. his running mate will see just how far left he is willing to go but voters need to remember our economy was so hot, record low unemployment for latinos for black americans, great strides for women in the workplace, can and will get back. covid-19 is a shock to the economy and great economic times again. jillian: thank you very much, appreciate it. charges against the arms couple defending their home in st. louis.

stepping in. >> a very legal basis for these charges? joining us with insight on this, thanks for coming on, we appreciate it. >> when you look at the video you have to put it in context. you heard the second attorney kim gardner said won't happen in st. louis, but what she doesn't seem to be taking into context is the fact that over the previous few days and a couple weeks you had protesters who started off by burning down a police station and the police doing nothing and watching it live on television so you have to wonder what the mccloskeys were thinking when this peaceful protest or mob broke down a private gate and started shouting at them. hard to see how a normal person can understand why they would feel threatened. >> is this political?
1:46 am
>> it does seem political, under the castle doctrine in missouri i don't think this is a good prosecution, the capital doctrine in the state of missouri is more expansive than in many other states and allows a person who feels an imminent threat to use deadly force in defense of property so the many people trespass on their property, they felt an imminent threat, they could have used deadly force and did not do so. they simply held their weapons to make clear to the crowd that they would defend themselves if they had to. todd: let's hear about a prosecutor who brought the charges. >> the circuit attorney is an elected official who works on our tax dollars and taken it upon herself not to protect law-abiding citizens against criminals but to protect criminals against law-abiding citizens.
1:47 am
todd: he is angry about this and it all changed when everybody saw that gate busted down. that is illegal entry. i don't know how this is a case, how you would take this to court. >> it is such a great point. every prosecutor has a duty to lick an affirmative defenses, doctrines and laws in their state. the castle doctrine is very clear in missouri, clear it applies here and i think we can see the political nature of this in kim gardner's recent statement that she would be happy to see the mc classes go to the diversion program, she's not asking for jail time. if she thought they were truly a threat and deserve to be prosecuted she wouldn't be talking about a diverse and program. jillian: how do you see this ending? >> the state attorney general
1:48 am
has asked the judge to dismiss the case. it's not clear to me he has the authority to make that happen but we might see litigation very soon on the castle doctrine. we will see briefs filed where the case should be dismissed because it isn't well-funded because the mccloskeys have the castle doctrine is a defense. todd: time could be running out for tick-tock. capitol hill inching closer to banning the apps from all federal devices. ♪ >> some thing about this song makes me happy. a friend's reunion in the works? that story coming up next. ♪ i will be there for you ♪ i will be there for you
