>> it was a political witchhunt. that's what we've seen with these declassified documents but it was clearly a witchhunt, and abuse of power. this was a failed coup attempt by and full of people in the intelligence community, very troublesome. the american people should be very concerned. every civil libertarian should be concerned about the abuse of the fisa process and this is something congress needs to investigate. rob: we can see how important the story is and what it means but you have a pandemic, a lot of this story is far in the rearview. tell us why we should be paying attention to the story. >> we should be paying attention because whenever congress passes a law to allow for spying and phone tapping involved in the fisa process. members of congress that raised

the concern that this could be used to spy on law-abiding citizens. no one dreamed that the intelligence community would go so far as to spy on a presidential campaign with no evidence and to this day the leadership of the fbi never stepped forward and said they made a mistake or given explanations publicly as to why they pursue this matter. the more it comes to light the more troublesome it is and i think they should be held accountable. jillian: the house will remove statues of confederate figures. what will happen today? >> i'm sure nancy pelosi and democrats will vote to remove the statues was we have a lot of problems in america. i came to congress to solve a lot of problems. statues is not on the list of most americans priorities. the rule states every state has the opportunity to put two statues in the capital.

rob: new york city has had enough of this. the nypd clearing out protesters who have been occupying this area outside city hall for weeks, this happening in lower manhattan. we have been getting reports of officers dismantling tents and these protesters embedded themselves in this area to create their own shop zone. they are pushing them down, done with this, the protest started on june 20 third.

it is a month now. this all sparked after the death of george floyd with writing this become alluding in the city that evolved into this when they create their autonomous zone in lower manhattan around city hall. they have been calling to defund police, put markings on the buildings, spray painting this, bill diblasio says there is no plan in place to shut down the protest but the nypd moves in and this is what we have. it is a shot from way above. the nypd tries to move out this occupy city hall protest. jillian: a developing story. a second major league team taking a knee during the national anthem.

far as testing goes? >> we are getting there. the president gave a detailed, thorough and serious update and highlights important aspect of this disease. one of them being testing and a turnaround, looking at a process called fool testing which can reduce the amount of wait time. because of the massive amount of testing, we have a shortage of supplies, it has taken two weeks. with school testing, can reduce the turnaround time from 1:45 or 3 days, a loved one in a nursing home, you need to be checked off and make sure you are asymptomatic. definitely we have come a long way. we work on expediting results and a lot of hope.

management of coronavirus patients. coronavirus rates have been going down even though we are doing a lot more testing. it is miraculous how far we are to having a vaccine on the market, the final stages of human trials, making sure we prove it is safe and there is good efficacy that is going to work to induce antibodies, we will have potentially 300 million doses of this vaccine. what this means is saving lives, we won't have to wear masks for a year or two. it will save lives and we will get back to our normal regular lifestyle sooner rather than later in overall will provide a little more toward herd immunity, being naturally infected or having a vaccine so

rob: the nypd has cleared a number of protesters from an area surrounding city hall in lower manhattan. this area has been occupied at times by hundreds of people for nearly a month. they have been demanding the nypd be defunded. the city has pushed these people out, it started at 3:00 or 4:00 this morning. we have learned there were no arrests or charges filed, no injuries as officers moved in and pushed people out, making protesters leave, looks a lot like occupy wall street did years ago. this all started after the death of george floyd and all the riots new york city saw.
