through and federal law enforcement officials react and tomorrow some folks in the media will pretend the whole action was unprovoked, media members will pretend it was totally peaceful, did you see the wall of mothers standing there protecting folks? it is a scam at this point happening over and over again. todd: let's focus on seattle, seattle expecting a year of unrest. on monday morning, what will be the headline from seattle? >> the headline is going to be what we fear which is mass demonstrations the turn to rioting. we've seen riots over the last week where people are wandering through the streets of seattle, not being stopped by law enforcement under order from the mayor, breaking into every starbucks they can, amazon warehouse they can and they are not doing this, what they are doing is an anti-capitalist

movement driven by socialists, marxists and they are trying to make a political point. the only thing we will try to figure out is now we have federal law enforcement officials on the ground. they are not expected to get involved unless they have 2, the situation on the ground becomes untenable but there are a lot of police officers who are worried because they will not be able to use nonlethal tools in their arsenal to disperse crowds. >> we are adjusting deployment plans for upcoming major events including this weekend. i cannot ask any of you to do this work limited only to your sidearm, baton and body is tools, these are not tools that are reasonable in modern policing for crowd control. sticking with the conversation of police we heard reports

across the country that a lot of police officers will be retiring only, you are seeing slower numbers in people who want to come in and join the police force. police are calling it a mass exodus, 40 officers ditch the department within a month. how bad is this going to get? >> it is worse than that. 80 applications gone into different agencies within the western washington region and to put this in perspective we had a massacred this crisis when cops didn't have a contract. at the end of the year we saw 109 separations, not just cops who were quitting but retirements, firings, that is all inclusive. right now we have 80 applications out on a department that is already woefully underfunded so we are getting -- we are already in a staffing crisis but at some point it will be completely untenable.

a very small percentage of our population as a whole has been doing this for some time. we are looking at 3% but we have scaled up with 56 million kids through remote learning. in terms of is it a good option you can customize your childhood education, you can dive deep into their interests whenever you want to and this is an opportunity, to build up what might be challenges for the best. it will be difficult to fold back into education once you are homeschooled with accredited homeschooling. >> people have been doing this for generations but what does it do for social skills, developmental skills like that as young kids. >> absolutely.

>> we did. we have 6300 people rsvp the event on facebook and as of last night facebook - we know facebook has taken down pages of other rallies and events over the last 6 months, we just didn't expect it to happen with this. todd: we reached out to facebook for comments, we will update viewers if and when we hear back. this is a poll that the majority of our country opposes defunding police, 43% strongly oppose, 43% support defunding police. a year from now where are we in terms of these numbers? >> it is difficult to trust the polls. we saw in the 2016 election, 85%, a number that supports law enforcement, 85% of americans.
