that's a problem and it does reveal just how cynical the democrats have become. with any other circumstances would be nothing short of elder abuse. he has these moments of clarity where he realizes everybody is snickering about the fact he never knows where he is so he makes a joke about it. a bad joke about it. and then talks about how progressive he will be. it's a hostage situation. telling him what the hostage takers are telling him to say and sadly like you said, it's probably a pretty good campaign tactic in the current environment. greg: i saw you almost jump out of your chair to charlie's question. joe says he's the most progressive how could he pick

a police officer unless they condone the police? >> exactly. just goes to show even with everything going on, identity politics is such a driving force in the democratic party. kamala harris is a black woman but not only just a cop but i have written about her prosecutorial record. the side that to stand on the side of the accused she would uphold convictions on technicalities at any reasonable person would have a concern about. she would only backtrack if there was public pressure on her to do so. it's more about her keeping her power than any concern. completely ridiculous and with joe biden thing he can just walk around and not know where

he is all the time and played off as a joke if i came to work and did not know where i was i could not make a joke about it because i would be too busy having to answer the various serious question would you like to be fired or take a few months off or go to rehab for your exhaustion. greg: it is always exhaustion. i made it to age 55 and without ever having to use that excuse and that is amazing. >> i consider that an achievement in my life. >> i you could do that. nobody told me. greg: does each passing summer become more of a bummer? a new survey said they had the summer of their life at 14 years old that is 30 years ago for teetwelve. some say summer loses its magic as we get older once you add in adult responsibilities like getting a job. but the best part of those summers was having spontaneous adventures with friends. i can relate i toured with new kids on the block i was the only one with chest hair people said they hope to re-create their favorite childhood activities this year like camping in the woods or swimming in the pool to dismember a drifter.

although i'm not sure kids have all the summer fun. >> what was your favorite summer and why? >> it's hard to pick one favorite. it was 2016 i was in a horrible relationship with a guy who did not like me and abusive and trauma but then we were all playing pokémon go. i love that. there are adventures for me emotional push me before i mentally break. good or bad all around.

the end. greg: and then? what is your take on your best summer quick. >> it wasn't i was a teenager i was already in college being beaten up so i will go growing from 5-foot 2 inches to a solid 5-foot 9 inches i finally got married and had a life. anytime in the last 12 years. >> sorry. [laughter] greg: i forgot you spent your childhood in college when those who were in college acted like children you word the adult you are like michael j fox on steroids. [laughter] >> and also the same height. [laughter] greg: charlie your favorite summer? >> i was not in college as a young man. college was not good for me. but at 14 i had a great summer.

but the best summer i would pick this summer was the best summer of my life. the kids are home. there's been a lot of challenges and misery obviously. but they are home have done more fishing with my kids then since i became an adult. it was the unexpected blessing in a lot of ways. greg: interesting. the glass half-full. and scotch in my case. >> first of all congratulations on being engaged. you can let it go now. you are engage. let it go. it's over your good. but honestly all my summers keep getting better the more grown you get the more money you make you have to have

girl fiction? greg: [laughter] i think i can do any kind of genre. erotica is my next one. i had experience writing for pent-up on - - penthouse letters i did for a brief period of time. maybe for about two weeks and in about a three or five minutes first it was depressing. your book is super timely. when did you finish the book and did you know when it came out we would have a pandemic and riots and discontent? >> if it is the book in january i thought it would be in time for the election i didn't realize how timely but then it made more sense to me. so in your book what is a

wisdom weekend a physical week? greg: [laughter] do you know what? there may not be one. it is defined as somebody who collects save menagerie friends and influencers who help them with different things. so if you need a philosophical answer you have somebody who's really good at philosophy or somebody really good with fitness you have that person so you rely on an entourage of intelligence. isn't that a good answer? >> it is. >> but i have never actually seen one before so maybe they are identical. we have run out of time your book is excellent it will do great. i cannot look at my book anymore because i'm sick of
