because lots of things will happen during that period of time. especially when you have tight margins. lots of things can happen. there has never been anything like this. right now we have to live with it. we are challenging it in many courts across the country. >> but this morning the president encouraging mail-in voting in florida saying that state's system is safe and secure. the other big 2020 storyline: will joe biden step on the debate stage? some on the left say he should not. his wife jill telling dana perino he will be there. >> you know, joe is anything but that characterization. we have been campaigning. we have been listening to the scientists and the doctors. they have told us stay home and be safe.

believe. greg gutfeld an interesting thing i noticed with the media. the media reports something like mail-in ballots are bad or dangerous or can lead to delays. trump will say it can be bad, dangerous and lead to delays. and the media will say oh, no, trump is fear mongering about mail-in ballots. they do this with everything. they did it with will the joe biden debate thing? >> when trump says something they might agree with they have to take the opposite side. i am offended with jill biden. don't you hate people who only do your show if they can only sell a book.

someone besides you can deliver your mail-in ballots to the place it's counted. they could have paid partisan political operatives picking up ballots in bundles from apartments to bring them to be counted. that's like asking the democrats to do this on an honor system where trump's presidency is on the line. juan, i don't trust it. >> well, you know what? you should encourage the idea that someone would help focus in a senior citizen's home get their ballots counted. the ballots has to be signed and have the proper address. there are safe guards in place. the question raised by greg is about the magnitude of the mail-in ballots. you want to make sure that people get their ballots to the proper place to be counted. the thing we started off today is my concern.

trump is tweeting it's safe and secure do-or-die a mail-in battle in florida. -- ballots in florida. he said it's not safe and secure to do mail-in ballots. how is it safe and secure in florida but not in any other state when there is no evidence of any kind of fraud anywhere? i think he just concludes that it's okay if he thinks he can win the state. i think he thinks he can win florida. hang on. i am finishing! in theaxios interview he made a distinction between mail-in ballots and absentee ballots. but there is no such distinction. they are the same thing. >> no, they are not. they are not. >> i am an absentee voter and that's a mail-in ballot. this whole thing is a ruse to inspire distrust of the election
