connect, and persuade." it's not what i believ,e but what you prove you believe. it's out next week, and it will help you make your case and move others close to a new way of thinking. thank you for joining us tonight. sean will be back on monday "the ingraham angle" is up next. have a great week. >> on to "the ingraham angle", i am raymond arroyo sitting in for laura. i have an amazing lineup you will not want to miss. we talked to chicago alderman who not only at his home but his office was ransacked, and he will come here to talk about what is happening on the ground. we have a mayor and local prosecutors who are failing to act and we will also talk with a college student as well as experts on covid and what is happening at the university level. and later we will take you inside the trump deal that uae israeli deal. it is an amazing lineup.
11:01 pm
please stay with us, but first my thoughts on universities and what is happening there. united we stand, divided we snitch. in addition to the lockdowns and the mask mandate, presidential nominee joe biden has one big covid plan. >> individual states like new york and california already hiring and training thousands of tracing. but we need to do more including hiring 1,000 federally funded workers with contact tracing and other public health habits. >> they are begin to be trained now. it's been when they are being trained by the thousands to track your whereabouts and who you've been in contact with, and a person to person interview. tracers to help the recording all of your interactions. now, this is a tracer/trainer in houston.
11:02 pm
>> there has been plenty of people from this that thought they would lose their jobs. and they don't want to get any kind of information that we don't already have in our hands. >>raymond: liberal governors and mayors have mostly waved off privacy concerns. they have not only embraced the tracing regiment, but they have taken enforcement of their health orders a step further. in maryland, bashar of kentucky set up hotlines to waivers. >> those not in compliance with the state orders, this is a call that can allow government to know to make sure that we know what you know. >> raymond: l.a. mayor garcetti was more explicit. >> you know the old expression about snitches, in this case snitches get rewards. we want to thank you for turning folks in and making sure we are all safe.
11:03 pm
>> raymond: turning folks in. that snitch mind-set has hit universities across america. to return to campus, college students are required to sign contracts with their schools promising to abide by new covid requirements. mask wearing social distancing, eating alone in some cases routine testing, no overnight storm parties nothing. violators face suspension or expulsion. but how do they enforce the covid contracts on campus? enter the wellness ambassadors. >> to you public health and doctors, volunteer students faculty and staff will model and monitored as a planning practice >> the university is encouraging all of our students to abide by the covid guidelines, and sometimes we may have to enforcement these guidelines if people do not abide by them. we also have our wellness support ambassadors to check compliance at the entrances of
11:04 pm
all of our buildings and our classrooms. >> raymond: so wellness support ambassadors, we will check your papers. it is a library. that is right. you pay 50 to 60, sometimes $80,000 a year to have your kids basically enter what is now a soviet style people's republic of education. where they are peers are encouraged to spy on them and turn them over to administrators. you might call it snitch you. bear in mind the universities require all returning students to take covid test before they can answer. columbia is recruiting student ambassadors to help police the student body. the university of miami is paying $10 an hour for their public health ambassadors. and they are not alone. a slew of colleges are training health binders and listening to
11:05 pm
on the student body. to confront anyone who is not wearing a mask or social distancing and "if the person persists and not complying or responds confrontationally, you should not pursue the matter face to face but instead report that was students noncompliance." these universities are not playing around. >> we need people to adapt the behaviors immediately. i can tell you, we will pull out all the stops from the research evidence. and also, we will have a high level of expectation that the community will respond if our guidance, the threshold will be very, very little. and we will be holding people accountable. >> raymond: no question, we will explore shortly as well as a texas student is this. what effect do these covid students have on community cohesiveness? doesn't underline the academic and personal freedom young people need for growth intellectually and socially? and are our institutions of
11:06 pm
higher education, no matter what they are calling these kids, health ambassadors, forcing all students to major impractical snitching? here to react is alex berenson the former "new york times" reporter, author of "unreported truths about covid-19 and lockdowns" and also phil kerpen the president of the committee to unleash prosperity. alex, it is one thing to act responsibly but it's another to encourage them to snitch on one another. joe biden in his university says it is a necessity based on science. is it? >> of course it isn't. there are many things college students are at risk from excessive drinking may be being the most obvious example. they are next to no risk from sars-cov-2. there are entire countries in europe, like italy where fewer
11:07 pm
than five, possibly fewer than three college age adults whether or not in college they die from this illness. the cdc says that if you are under 15. and that's not college age but the rest doesn't change much between 15 and 25. if you are under 15, you have one in 1 million chances of dying from sars-covid 2 if infected. you know, i feel that everybody should know these numbers. i guess to repeat them over and over again because the rest of the medium has been such a good job obscuring what the risks really are here and focusing on minuscule handful of cases that people are terrified. there was a study just a few days ago that showed only 3% of democrats said that they thought it was safe to reopen schools right now. 69% republicans agreed and
11:08 pm
only 36% of the whole country a grade. so would love to say they are the party that understands data and facts. but if you look at what the numbers really are, the only people that understand this and the people watching fox news. it is terrible. terrible public policy. >> raymond: phil, your reaction. we are seeing this coast to coast, basically locking these kids down. i don't know what they are supposed to do. but is it driven by politics? is that what this is about? >> i think it is a combination of politics and irrational fear of lawsuits or adverse media story. we are punishing our youth and really in an outrageous fashion. we have been doing it now for months, really since the pandemic first hit. we have been putting the most severe deprivation in terms of lockdown, loss of recreational activities, loss of sports school, placed at risk and alex translated the numbers.
11:09 pm
there is essentially zero risk from covid than severe mental health crisis among adults in this country. we just saw a poll from the cdc that 25% of young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 have contemplated suicide seriously the last 30 days. before covid, before all of this, that number was 11% which was already we were talking how outrageous and it has doubled. but a lot of those people not working are stuck at home or working essential jobs without anything to do except go to the if we go back to normal college campuses or something close to normal, that would be a huge huge positive for the mental health crisis. but instead, we had these kids go back. it will be an extension of the lockdown they have been suffering at home because of these unreasonable rules and restrictions. >> raymond: trump's covid testing debunked the idea that more tests will reveal increased positive cases. listen to this.
11:10 pm
>> arizona is one of the several states across the country that has a decrease in cases, but also a decrease in testing. are you concerned people will not get tested because they don't want to have to wait? >> there are three questions and assumptions and all of them are wrong. >> i'm asking you. >> i'm just telling you. we will get the numbers and i'm asking a question. >> you are asking, i'm telling. this is a real decrease in the infections. >> raymond: alex, why is the media incapable of absorbing and understanding these numbers? these are facts. >> so look, the notion that asymptomatic people should be tested for this, you have to throw in the question at all. you talk about contact tracing in your monologue and the fact is most americans don't want to respond to contract tracing. one in four people contacted by
11:11 pm
a contact tracing will get the information that they've been in touch with. so if we are not going to. if people are tested asymptomatic and not go to the hospital and many don't know they are sick are not going to respond to a contact tracing or what do we care if they have this or not? they don't care if they have the flu if they don't wind up in the hospital. we don't make them get tested for the flu, so what are we doing here? this is yet another public policy question that is sort of being forced from the top down. and there is very, very little science to say that it does any good. this is a lockdown, that we talk about in the booklet, but it is true of masks, he can help. >> raymond: i am glad you brought that up, alex.
11:12 pm
how are they criticizing these masks. what do you think of the mandat command. >> i agree with scott atlas and the task force there is limited circumstances where it might make sense to wear a mask, if the right type of masks, a real medical mask and you are around somebody highly vulnerable or you yourself are highly vulnerable in trying to wear properly and take it off properly and never touch the outside and so on and so forth. if you are not in that same type of circumstance and not being that careful with it, they will be not that much benefit. lots and lots of study show when they start pursing this type of mask and the other type, and news media stories and studies avoid this type of mask for this type of mask, the bottom line is there's not a lot of benefits from these masks other than the
11:13 pm
make sense and you are willing to put an extraordinary amount of caution and never touch it in the be careful and so on. which most people aren't able to do even if they try, frankly. so i think this is a little bit silly to split hairs in terms of what type of mask we should be using. >> raymond: alex, 30 seconds effective? needed? >> no, of course not needed. very limited and to me this is scary because what it says is if joe biden is elected, he will push in the same way for example, he is likely to push this like the prime minister of new zealand is pushing that country back into a lockdown from a handful of cases. he is going to be aggressive here. we have enough aggressive action that hasn't been very much. >> raymond: everybody starts to think about the economic downturn. if this economy in the united states totally shut down, we would really see economic cataclysm. we are lucky that we were spared that. thank you, gentlemen. as i mentioned universities
11:14 pm
around the country just aren't getting students to track the whereabouts of their peers. they are turning them into snitches. schools from yale has set up new ways to on one another for failing to social distance were wearing mask. texas a&m university is going further. they have created an online portal that allows students to report on classmates if they suspect might have covid. joining me now gage sattler had all or a texas a&m senior and of course, correspondent of campus reform. student should act responsibly in a pandemic that your reaction to the school incentivizing students to become covid narcs. >> hi, raymond, thank you for having me. you are from texas. raymond, i could not agree more with your statement that my university and certainly other universities seem to be requiring or encouraging certain
11:15 pm
students to major in snitching. and i am so thankful that first of all texas a&m officials have allowed us to return back to campus when so many universities have allowed that and also am very proud of the fact that texas a&m university specifically has partnered with the federal government to mass-produce a covid vaccine once it does become available. and at the same time this procedure where students are encouraged to report other students is concerning. >> raymond: you are worried it will be weaponized, right? weaponized and personalized with horrible intent. because that is exactly right raymond.
11:16 pm
most students who have a vested interest in not reporting their fellow students. because we want to be on campus. i can't think of one person i know who is not immune yelp compromise that doesn't want to be on campus so most people if they see someone not following the guidelines they will politely say something, which is i think should be encouraged by these universities instead of this tactic that really i could see only encourages people with a personal vendetta against another student to report. special concern to me is the fact we have an election coming up and i'm the vice president of students at texas a&m. i know we will be doing some campaigning on campus. i know some other political groups on campus will be doing the same. and you know, i could be at risk simply being on this show with you to have my name filled into a form in reported. >> raymond: i have seen some of these forms, gage from these universities where there is a place to submit a photo with offenders, so-called offenders.
11:17 pm
yale has a tip line and the ncaa has a to point to be notified if athletes are being threatened by not wearing masks or kids around him without mass. oklahoma state university is taking it further in texas a&m. they will track location data for devices with wi-fi access points to identify employee/student moving across the campus. they will store that data solely as an aid for contact tracing. do you feel comfortable with that kind of technology being used in a university setting? >> i don't, raymond. to tell you the truth, i remember reading orr wells in middle school, i never could have imagined several years later we would be turning this into a reality and surveilled by my fellow classmates in my university. and i know texas a&m has not do anything like that to my knowledge, but the fact it is being implemented by other universities is very concerning. >> raymond: i worry about all of you because there are no games, no parties and you can't congregate at all.
11:18 pm
the incentive is to groton have a good time. if everybody is being tested, give him limited access but you have to socialize in some way or go home. thank you so much, gage for being here. i hope you are there for the semester. and you don't get reported. american cities are engulfed in chaos and violence. rioters trashed the downtown d.c. we'll speak to a reporter who captured explicit footage of the nights events. plus, chicago d.a. kim foxx finally approved charges against looters who ransacked the city this week. a chicago alderman is asking why she didn't do it the last time in december. he joins us next and wait until you hear his personal story. stay with us. finding dental insurance plans can be confusing,

with agitators tried leaving, this happened. >> put your [bleep] on. put your [bleep] on! >> raymond: joining me now is the journalist to shut that incredible footage. townhall.com senior writer julio rosas. were they trying to keep from going to jail? what was happening there? >> that is exactly right, raymond, they were chanting really wanting to prevent the police van from leaving the scene. they had bikes and they were trying to use their bodies. as you see in the video, the police officers had to push them away. >> last night an african-american man confronted these protesters to defend the police. >> they what? they have to go, why? >> we will have other police officers. we have to take care of this one and then we can handle that one.
11:25 pm
>> raymon: julio, it doesn't look like he was able to change many minds there. >> no, not really but he wasn't the only one that night that spoke out in favor of not defunding the police. so there is another woman who actually, the husband was and that printer that had been set up. >> raymond: let's go to her. let me share that with people you can tell us what happened. this is an african-american questioning the point of the protest. here is the response she was greeted with. >> what are you standing here for? okay, so you want to go with them? >> you're not asking the right question. >> yes, i am. [bleep] ya'll all say i'm crazy.
11:26 pm
>> raymond: julio, this is something we see again and again and again, white young radicals and defunding the police. i thought there were against white privilege. >> exactly. we are releasing a new trend where protesters and rioters are no longer focused on the downtown area and in fact going to residential neighborhoods. that is where it happen in d.c. last night but we are also seeing in seattle black lives matter protesters were harassing some of the city's residents at their homes saying that reparations were underway and they were demanding to get into their houses. we t have seen this in portlands well. this is a new trend that is being spread and seen in multiple cities in residence as you can see aren't too happy with that. >> raymond: they want policing. julio, thank you for that. speaking of cities engulfed in violence, cook county state
11:27 pm
attorney kim foxx in chicago approved 42 felony charges in connection with the mass looting that took place earlier this week. that is good news, but given this was the second wave of rioting in the last twoin month, our next guest is asking why chicago didn't do this the first time around.on chicago alderman raymond lopez and lara logan, host of fox nation. she has no agenda. thank you for being here. alderman, lopez has fox or mayor lightfoot explained why they didn't bring felony charges against the looters the first time around? the first round of looters? a >> all we have gotten from the city of chicago from the mayor and the district attorney a lot of finger-pointing and semantic arguments on what the difference between looting and shoplifting is. and all that has done is created a schism in a law enforcement that these organized criminals are manipulating and using to continue round 2 of looting. i don't think we will see any change in behavior if they are no consequences to be had.
11:28 pm
>> raymond: unbelievable to me. this is inconceivable. lara, i want to bring you innd here. why aren't we seeing more national coverage of the story?. it seems there is an intentional mind-set that wants to just ignore and edit this story out of the american conscious yet it is happening across the country. >> yeah, it is quite extraordinary, raymond. you are absolutely right. if you are not watching fox or reading the stories online, you could be living in a world where none of this is happening. that is a world where antifa doesn't exist but a far right fantasy, which is the crazy language that people come up with. it is actually a tactic that they used to try to convince you that you're not seeing what youo actually saying. they just explain it away. they say the federal onay the street were unlocked.
11:29 pm
no, they had their unit patches on their uniform. we will ignore that and pretend it did not happen. and more saying that it did not happen. and there are people going and watching the actual footage from identifying with a marking, tearing out the truth. so right after the election, why did they create these two worlds, one side of the political spectrum and the other on the other. now we realize they need to kill separate worlds because they are creating a completely false narrative for people who live in the other world. if you don't want to know the truth, that's where you get your news. >> raymond: alderman lopez, this is the financial toll, this looting has taken on some major cities. in new york, $115 million minneapolis, $55 million portland $23 million can make chicago, $20 million on and on and on. inmy question to you are leaders in the cities, are the people are the leaders in chicago, are
11:30 pm
they sensitive at all to the loss of revenue and the danger facing their own citizens? >> yes, there are many leaders in the city of chicago, many democratic leaders believe it or not are well aware that these kind of organized efforts to stabilize their cities will have a financial impact, not only to the loss of industry but the government's bottom line. you know, tourism, hotel restaurants account for 25% of the cities and billion-dollar budget. they have all been shut down not just since covic but twof looting events in the city of chicago. and that will force us to make some very hard decisions for the taxpayers who are already struggling. and it just seems to be aas combination of af aptitude by certain far left wing liberal politicians, democrats in particular, in my city who had seemed to park at the safety the resident should be priority number one. >> raymond: alderman, this touch
11:31 pm
you directly. your home, your office was vandalized but quickly tell us what happened. >> my home and my office on two occasions, three in total where vandalized by gang bangers pushing back against my efforts to bring safety back to my neighborhood. and that is emblematic of what we had seen in chicago overall where i've gotten lip service from lori lightfoot about i will do everything possible to protect you and had done nothing. we have seen that same mantra extended citywide in our city neighborhoods attacked by manyod instances hometown agitators trying to destabilize the city. thankfully, we have seen residents stand up as we did to these individuals trying to show up in neighborhoods and they've been pushed out as we have seen recently. hopefully, we will continue to see the city push back and take back the neighborhoods. >> raymond: there is another story the mainstream media is ignoring in peoria, illinois. two 13-year-old boys running a,
11:32 pm
lemonade stand held at gunpoint by two older teenagers. they were robbed of all the money. they had $30. lara, is this the unintended consequence of the lockdown as well as inability to police the streets a at the cities? >> raymond, i question that word unattended. because to me there are significant that are driving this forces. riots don't sustain themselves. they don't keep going on for 20 30, 40, 60, 80 days in portland. they are funded. there is an infrastructure behind it. they are political and people benefiting from this.fi and so to me as a journalist, i try to find who is benefiting the most. t we can see how it's hurting us. we can see how it hurts the police forces across the country. look at seattle, the police chief carmen best a black woman whose entire police force made up of many white men by the way the demons have the day, we
11:33 pm
demonize him all the time, who followed her loyalty and really respected her. good conscious lead under the circumstances being created for her. there is a very systematic effort.plpl one of the reasons people are not afraid, these crimes are not being prosecuted. that is in part because the district attorney is not pushing charges. and a very conservative political effort to back the district attorney to follow a far left political agenda. and sheriffs running those races, district attorney's, it's happening at a local level and people are ignoring it. this is a result of the cancel culture we have allowed. good for you, flynn, for standing up for people coming to your home. because that is the effect of what they are doing coming to your house. and we see people all over the country.y you give in and it's over. >> raymond: that you need the
11:34 pm
information. this is in seattle and these are protesters. listen to the demands here. i'm sorry. apparently they don't have the video and it was good. they are calling, they are basically calling for people to give up their homes, okay? you have moved gentrification in our neighborhood, and we want your home back. so not only are they coming to damage your home, they are asking for you to give it up to the protesters. >> you know, we have seen the perversion of the black lives matter movement following the death of george floyd.. we truly have a chance at pushing an agenda towards a greater social consciousness and social justice in this country. we had seen it co-opted by individuals who are manipulating the emotions of individuals of communities, particularly the african-american community for their own twisted, political
11:35 pm
agendas. and we are losing sight of that fact that we should all be striving towards a country that is more inclusive, more opportunity for all people particularly those disadvantaged by structural racism. but if we are going to focus and allow these far left wing extremist anarchy is to takef over every single movement and every opportunity, we will see our country continue to slide in the opposite direction we are all fighting for it. wepp have to remember. >> raymond: justice has to be across-the-board. lara, alderman lopez, thank so much for your insight and for coming on this evening. up next, biden and harris with a signing ceremony to show how official they are today. hillary clinton encouraged to break the law. fox news contributor, rachel campos-duffy. rachel, you are in the role of raymond arroyo today. >> thank you. >> raymond: today joe biden and his running mate kamala harris signed paperwork to officiallyly get their names on the november ballot in their respective states. so the event lasted 1:21 and joe managed to slip in a gaffe. >> i'm kidding, joe. [laughter] >> you may be silent. you said a lot more than joe. >> raymond: it is like geriatric production of 1776. they are signing the paper.n despite many appearances, thesp newly minted running mate jamala has yet to field questions from reporters. kamala gave a vague nonanswer at one point.
11:42 pm
>> i'm signing this because i'm in this race to win and with that guy right there. we are going to get it done. >> raymond: after that seismic newsmaking moment, to shoo all those bothersome reporters away. >> thank you, come on guys thank you guys. come on, guys, thank you thank you. come on, guys, thank you. come on, guys, let's go. >> raymond: get out. rachel, this is the most controlled campaign since hillary clinton. why is no one demanding access to these candidates? where is the cries on behalf of the free press? >> this has a very bad time here. they are only a couple days into this new ticket and fielding zero questions. to be fair the liberal media did complain, but you know, look it's not the same kind of complaint it would get from donald trump if he tried the same thing. meanwhile, you have donald trump on the other side.
11:43 pm
that guy takes hours of questions and hard questions gotcha questions, and these people can't even answer anything at all. it is really embarrassing. and what the media is doing here, raymond, they are not getting to the heart of the matter, which is everyone in the media knows exactly why they are not taking questions. that is to save joe biden's mental stage. he's in early stages of dementia. and that would be the story of donaldld trump if this were reversed and it were donald trump. >> raymond: rachel, we can't quite diagnose him. he certainly seems dementia, but i don't-- i can't go that far. >> i know people who have had family members with early set dementia and that's early exacting signs. >> raymond: the comment was a minute and 30 seconds longer than aoc given to speak at that convention next week. aoc gets 60 seconds, rachel. why are they trying to limit her time?

11:45 pm
as a member of the biden campaign. rachel, i'm sure that is consoling to kamala and joe. >> i'm sure they will not take her up on it. you are right it is illegal in my state. and i don't think anybody will be surprised that hillary clinton is offering this kind of advice. she doesn't have respect for the american law. we saw that in the last campaign. she was the one to take take a hammer to her cell phone and beach bit to her fbi and asked to be handed over. >> raymond: excellent. we shall leave that they are rachel, thank you for praying and we will have you back next time. foverachel campos-duffy. still ahead behind the scene detail of trans-historic uae israelite peace deal and what it means i'm someone who is right in the middle of it. this is such an important story that cuts a little coverage. don't go away. i also have an announcement. stay with us awesome internet.
