that is the bar for joe biden. there wasn't much substance in it. when he did recite a plan for the economy or the pandemic it was the president's plan, things donald trump did when joe biden was telling him he shouldn't do it like cutting off travel to and from china, joe biden didn't think that was the right call in the president did and later claimed he would have done it and called for it earlier. those -- it was a tightly choreographed evening, very controlled setting but we haven't seen an authentic moment from joe biden in which he is showing he is the man for the job with the strength and stamina to keep up with the world in which we live which donald trump day in and day out as he tackles questions from the press and tough issues facing the country. and does it not with a teleprompter or tightly choreographed. todd: you mentioned lack of policy. what was absent in biden's speech that you wanted to hear?

>> to the extent he talked about policy it was the president's response that he would have done it himself. but then he talks about how he will take care of america on foreign policy and we know president obama's defense secretary robert gates said joe biden was wrong at every foreign policy issue. he is also lacking that authenticity and transparency with the american people. the problem for joe biden is 40 years of political career of which people can call up and say that is not what you did when you were in the senate. that is not what you did when you were vice president of the country. the issue is he might have one night where he delivered a strong speech from a teleprompter but 40 years of blunders which the american people will not forget. jillian: coronavirus is on the

front of everybody's mind. most voters across the country say democrats had a lot to say about it. what do you think of the attacks on the president's handling, the administration's handling of the coronavirus. >> interesting they chose the better part of 4 nights at the convention when they should be making their arguments and spend time talking about a pandemic playing to the entire world and in terms of a response, donald trump who early cut off travel to and from china, something joe biden disagreed with, donald trump starting a whole of america response was not only making sure we used american companies to get the ppe that hospitals and coronavirus patients needed. to the point we have a deficit of ppe because of the obama biden administration's lack of preparedness and keeping the

really contained towards the southwest, southern california toward the desert southwest, temperatures are relaxed, we won't get the moisture but the wildfire danger will listen into the weekend. tropical depression 13 is going to become a storm in the next 12-24 hours. look at the track of this thing into the weekend, next week. this could be a hurricane moving into parts of florida, maybe alabama, georgia. than this other tropical depression we think will get a name and watch where that goes, into the gulf of mexico and perhaps landfall as a hurricane in texas next week. quite incredible to see two possible hurricanes in the gulf of mexico at the same time potentially making landfall at the same time. the tropical models, pretty good agreement we will see both of these storms, what shape they are in in the gulf of mexico
