violence we've seen in democrat-run cities all like kenosha. minneapolis, portland, chicago and new york. many others. democrat-run. there's violence and danger in the streets of in democrat-run cities throughout america. this problem could easily be fixed if they wanted to. just call. we're ready to go in. we'll take care of your problem in a matter of hours. just call. we have to wait for the call. it's too bad we have to, but we have to wait for the call. we must always have law and order. all federal crimes are being investigated, prosecuted and punished to the fullest extent of the law. when the anarchists started ripping down our statues and monuments, i signed an order immediately, ten years in prison and it was a miracle. it all stopped. no more statues.
8:16 pm
they said that's too long as they looked at a statue. they said ten years in prison, i think that's too long. let's go home. during their convention, joe biden and his supporters remained completely silence about the rioters and criminals. spreading mayhem in democrat-run cities. they never mentioned it during their entire convention. never once mentioned. now they're starting to mention it because their poll numbers are going down like a rock in water. it's too late, joe. in the face of left-wing anarchy and mayhem in minneapolis, chicago and other cities, joe biden's campaign did not condemn it. they donated to it. 13 members of joe biden's campaign staff donated to a fund to bail out vandals, arsonists,
8:17 pm
anarchists, looters and rioters from jail. here tonight is the grieving family of retired police captain david dorn, a 38-year veteran of the st. louis police department. a great man and a highly respected man by all. in june, captain dorn was shot and killed as he tried to protect a store from rioters and looters or as the democrats would call them peaceful protesters. they call them peaceful protesters. we're honored to be joined tonight by his wonderful wife, ann and be loved family members, brian and caylan. to each of you, we will never forget the heroic legacy of captain david dorn. thanks for being here. thank you. [applause] thank you very much.
8:18 pm
great man. great man. as long as i am president, we will defend the absolute right of every american citizen to live in security, dignity and peace. if the democrat party wants to stand with anarchists, agitators and flag burners, that's up to them. but i as your president will note be a part of it. the republican party will remain the voice of the patriotic heros who keep america safe and salute the american flag. [cheers & applause] last year over 1,000 african americans were murdered as a result of violent crime in just four democrat-run cities.
8:19 pm
the top ten most dangerous cities in the country are run by democrats and have been for many decades. thousands more african americans are victim and victims of violent crime in these communities. joe biden and the left ignore these american victims. i never will. if the radical left takes power, they will apply their disastrous policies to every city, town and suburb in america. just imagine if the so-called peaceful demonstrators in the streets were in charge of every lever of power in the u.s. government. just think of that. liberal politicians claim to be concerned about the strength of american institutions. but who exactly is attacking them? who is hiring the radical professors, judges and prosecutors? who is trying to abolish
8:20 pm
immigration enforcement and establish speech codes designed to muzzle dissent? in every case the attacks on american institutions are being waged by radical left. always remember they are coming after me because i am fighting for you. that's what is happening. [applause] it's been going on from before i even got elected. [applause] remember this. they spied on my campaign and they got caught. let's see now what happens. [applause] we must reclaim our independence from the left's repressive mandates. americans are exhausted trying
8:21 pm
to keep up with the latest lists of approved words and phrases and the ever-more restrictive political decrees. many things have a different name now and the rules are constantly changing. the goal of cancel culture is to make decent americans live in fear of being fired, expelled, shamed, humiliated. the far left wants to coerce you to saying what you know to be false and scare you out of saying what you know to be true. very sad. but on november 3, you can send them a very thundering message that they will never forget. [cheers & applause]
8:22 pm
thank you. [four more years] >> thank you very much. joe biden is weak. he takes his marching orders from liberal hypocrites who drive their cities into the ground while fleeing far from the scene of the wreckage. the same liberals want to eliminate school choice while they enroll their children in the finest private schools in the land. they want to open our borders while living in waldorf compounds in communities, the best neighborhoods in the world. they want to defund the police while they have armed guards for themselves. this november we must turn the
8:23 pm
page forever on this failed political class. the fact is, i'm here -- what's the name of that building? i'll say it differently. the fact is we're here and they're not. [cheers & applause] to me one of the most beautiful buildings anywhere in the world. it's not a building. it's a home as far as i'm concerned. not even a house. it's a home. it's a wonderful place with an incredible history. it's all because of you. together we will write the next chapter of the great american story. over the next four years, we will make america enter the manufacturing super power of the
8:24 pm
world. we will expand opportunity zones. thank you, tim scott. bring home our medical supply chains and we will end our resilience for bad things. we will go after china. we will not rely on them one bit. we're taking our business out of china. we're bringing it home. we want our business to come home. we will continue to reduce taxes and regulations at levels not seen before. we will create ten million jobs in the next ten months. it will be higher than that. we will hire more police, increase penalties for assaults on law enforcement and surge federal prosecutors into high crime communities. we will ban deadly sanctuary cities and ensure that federal healthcare is protected for
8:25 pm
american citizens, not for illegal aliens. we will have strong borders and i've said for years, without borders, we don't have a country. don't have a country. strike down terrorists that threaten our people and keep america out of endless and costly foreign wars. we will appoint prosecutors, judges, justices who believe in enforcing the law, not enforcing their own political agenda. [applause] which is illegal. we will ensure equal justice for citizens of every race, religion, color and creed. we will uphold religious liberty and defend your second amendment right to keep and bear arms.
8:26 pm
[cheers & applause] if we don't win, your second amendment doesn't have a chance. i can tell you that. i have totally protected it. we will protect medicare and social security. we will always and very strongly protect patients with pre-existing conditions and that is a pledge from the entire republican party. thank you, kevin. [applause] we will end surprise medical billing, require price transparency and further reduce the cost of prescription drugs and health insurance premiums. they're coming way down. we will greatly expand energy development, continuing to
8:27 pm
remain the number 1 in the world and keep america energy independent. [applause] for those of you that still drive a car, look how low your gasoline bill is. you haven't seen that in a long time. we will win the race to 5g and build the world's best cyber and missile defense already under construction. we will fully restore patriotic education to our schools and always protect, always protect free speech on college campuses. [cheers & applause] we put a very big penalty in. they do anything having to do
8:28 pm
with your free speech, colleges have to pay a tremendous, tremendous financial penalty. again, it's amazing how open they have been lately. we will launch a new age of american ambition in spaces. america will land the first woman on the moon and the united states will be the first nation to plant its beautiful flag on mars. this is the unifying national agenda that will bring our country together. so tonight i say to all americans, this is the most important election in the history of our country. there has never been such a difference between two parties or two individuals and ideology, philosophy or vision than there is right now. our opponents believe that america is a depraved nation. we want our sons and daughters
8:29 pm
to know the truth. america is the greatest and most exceptional nation in the history of the world. [cheers & applause] our country wasn't built by cancel culture. speech codes and soul-crushing conformity. we are not a nation of timid spirits. we're a nation of fierce, proud and independent american patriots. we're a nation of pilgrims, pioneers, adventurers, explorers and trail blazers that refuse to be tied down, held back or in any way reined in. americans have steel in their spines, grit in their souls and fire in their hearts. there is no one like us on
8:30 pm
earth. i want every child in america to know that you are part of the most exciting and incredible adventure in human history. no matter where your family comes from, no matter your background in america, anyone can rise. with hard work, devotion and drive, you can reach any goal and achieve every ambition. our american ancestors sailed across the ocean to build a new life on an american continent. they crossed the raging rivers, scaled the rocky peaks, trekked the dangerous forests and worked from dawn till dusk. these pioneers didn't have money, they didn't have fame. but they had each other. they loved their families, they
8:31 pm
loved their country and they loved their god. when opportunity beckoned, they picked up their bibles, packed up their belongings, climbed into their covered wagons and set out west for the next adventure. ranchers and miners, cowboys and sheriffs, farmers and settlers. they pressed on past the mississippi to stake a claim in the wild frontier. legends were born. wyatt earp, annie oakley, buffalo bill. americans built their beautiful homesteads on the open range. soon they had churches, towns and great centers of industry and commerce.
8:32 pm
that is who they were. americans build their future. we don't tear down our past. we are the nation that won a revolution. toppled tyranny and fascism and delivered millions into freedom. we laid down the railroads, built the great ships, raised up the skyscrapers, sparked a new age of scientific discovery. we set the trends in art and music, radio and film, sport and literature and we did it all with style and confidence and fla flair. that is who we are. whenever our way of life was threatened, our heros answered the call from yorktown to
8:33 pm
gettysburg, from normandy to iwojima. americans have no fear. america didn't stop there. we looked into the sky and kept pressing onward. we built a six million pound rocket and launched it thousands of miles into space. we did it so that two brave patriots could stand tall and salute our wondrous american flag on the moon. for america, nothing is impossible. the next four years, we will prove worthy of this magnificent legacy. we will reach stunning new heights and we will show that the world that for america,
8:34 pm
there's a dream and it's not beyond your reach. together we are unstoppable. together we are unbeatable. because together we are the proud citizens of the united states of america. [applause] and on november 3 we will make america safer. we will make america stronger. we will make america prouder. we will make america greater than ever before. i'm very, very proud to be the nominee of the republican party. i love you all. god bless you and god bless america. thank you so much.
8:39 pm
>> that was quite something. ivanka trump introducing her father said washington has not changed donald trump. donald trump has changed washington. we can tell you this. washington has never seen anything like this. the republican convention on the south lawn with a fireworks display overlooking the washing to be monument and the national mall. a speech that was definitely long. definitely was woven in with
8:40 pm
some optimism, policy specifics and really going after his opponent joe biden. in fact, he mentioned joe biden 41 times in this speech where he was really making the case that you can't get down the democrats' road. nothing that we've seen like it. >> the fireworks are still booming away here. they lit up the sky with "trump 2020." these conventions are something else. the president using his opportunity to be at the white house here in washington the fullest extent possible. he had a very positive finish to the speech tonight. he said in america, nothing is impossible. he talked about 10 million jobs in ten months, putting a woman on mars a vaccine bring the end of the year. so overall, i would say very optimistic outlook, although he
8:41 pm
did not mince words when he talked about joe biden. >> you think there wasn't going to be policy specifics, they were in there. if you think anybody had problem with the trappings of the white house, they have more of a problem tonight. this was something watching the fireworks. our all-star panel is with us. chris wallace, brit hume, dana perino, juan williams, donna brazile and karl rove. chris? >> there were impressive fireworks on the mall. but i have to say i was surprised at the lack of fire works in the president's speech tonight. first of all, it was far too long. 70 minutes exactly. i thought at times it felt like a state of the union speech, lick a campaign speech. the president went through all of his accomplishments and they are a great term and considerable. then he went after joe biden.
8:42 pm
he had good lines. he said biden has spent his career outsourcing american dreams. biden's record is a shame for roll call, betrayal and blunders. biden's plan is not a solution to the virus but a surrender. i have to say in his delivery, i thought the president who we have seen really turn on a crowd was surprisingly flat and didn't seem to have the bite that he usually does have in his speeches. i agree with you. he laid out an ambitious plan for a second term, ten million jobs in ten months. bringing medical supply chains back to the united states. dealing with pre-existing conditions and we have to point out he hasn't done that in his first term. one other thing we have to note, that is the event itself. the fact that there were 2,000 people in close quarters on the south lawn there with no seemingly -- very few with
8:43 pm
masks, no social distancing, ignoring all of the public health recommendations. i suspect that will get a lot of comment in the next few days. >> okay, britt. your thoughts. adding to the lines, joe biden's agenda is made in china. mine is made in the u.s. joe biden's a trojan horse for socialism. a lot of lines there. the opera singers -- >> yeah, hard to compete with the opera that we heard before the festivities. and now packs and emotional wallop. i'm almost tempted to stop and wait. >> they were waiting for you. go ahead. >> yeah, sure. anyway, yeah, chris has a point. the speech was very long. i don't know that any speech is an hour and ten minutes can work very well. the book on speech making is
8:44 pm
somebody speaking is about 13 minutes so an hour and ten minutes is pretty long. you know, you heard me say earlier this week, the president has a case. he does indeed have a case and he made it tonight and made it and made it and made it. he was to suggest a little flat. he's done very good speeches before. but tonight he seemed to miss the excitement that he generates in himself when he's ad libbing. so nonetheless, overall as a convention, it's clear that this show and that's what it was, packed more wallop than what we heard last week. it did. >> it's interesting when you think about that. we have seen the president all week long. we've seen him every day doing
8:45 pm
performances or moments in the white house, i should say, and we've heard from him last night. usually the big finish is the time night. so maybe the president didn't save it all for the final night. he spread it out over the week, dana. >> i think we have to remember that conventions are for the party's faithful. this is where you want to thank your volunteers, you come together. they couldn't all be together in charlotte. the white house wasn't the first choice. it was the third. charlotte was the site. he thought about jacksonville. ultimately they decided to do it here. i agree. it was very long. he did seem to pick up in terms of energy. that's when he started going after joe biden in particular. there was really good lines. you mentioned a couple of them. i also would add this one where he said biden may claim he's an ally of the light but wants to keep us in the dark. you can see him have a little lift there. he did a significant portion on coronavirus. defending his approach to
8:46 pm
dealing with it. also i thought his section on law and order was the best part of the speech. i would say he said something that 98% of americans are going to be able to agree with. this is a bipartisan agreement where he says the most important election in the history of our country. i think that after he's two weeks, we know the democrats feel the same way. so it's on november 3. >> it's on. quite something. one of the most powerful things before the president, juan, was ann dorn, the widow of david dorn. she was here tonight. the president referenced here in his speech. her speech to the convention was quite powerful. >> yeah. i thought even the sight of her in the audience with her family and again, so interesting because it crossed racial lines. you can see people -- she's grieving over her husband's death and the violence in st. louis. but you know, again, i just --
8:47 pm
i'm a little bit disappointed. my colleagues have said it was flat. i think president trump on script, reading from a script is not president trump on the ad lib being spontaneous. he has that magic when he's spontaneous, when he can stir a rally. that just didn't happen for him tonight. i expected there would be fireworks before that amazing show on the south lawn. those are the best fireworks that a fireworks lover has ever seen. i come down here on fourth of july. but that -- it struck me more as a rerun. we've seen so many of those lines before. it just didn't have the punch that i expected. even as someone that can be critical of the president, i expected tonight to be a grand show. a grand speech. i'm wondering what happened there. >> you know, karl, when you read certain sections of the speech, they are very effective, i think, on paper in terms of
8:48 pm
trying to persuade the voters to put donald trump in the house in the first place in wisconsin and pennsylvania and michigan. one section here for 47 years, joe biden took the donations of blue collar workers and gave them hugs and kisses and felt their pain and flew back to washington and voted to ship their jobs to china and other lands. then he sent your sons to war. strong stuff, karl. >> very strong. as chris wallace pointed out. i'm a numbers guy. i downloaded the speech. put it in my computer and categorized what the paragraphs were about. it's interesting. he went after biden but out of the 5,000 words, 564 are divided and devoted to going after the democrats. 10% of the speech. so you know, a relatively small portion of it though it was effectively written and grabbed our attention. interestingly enough, the second term agenda was 401 words.
8:49 pm
that was 7%. the biggest part of his speech was devoted to a defense of traditional american values. >> patriotism. the second biggest portion was devoted to promises made, promises kept. 956 words. and law and order was third. 831 words devoted to that one issue. 636 words devoted to the covid response. just like we saw last night in vice president pence's speech, robust response to the covid crisis, which i thought was wise last night and more wise for the president to address it correctly. >> donna, let's be honest. he was going to get criticized with whatever he did. he laid out his accomplishments and went after joe biden. joe biden came on cable networks today for the first time in a long time. not ours but others. he said he would go travel to
8:50 pm
other places, michigan, wisconsin, minneapolis. our democrats worried there's a bounce out of this convention? >> i'm sure he's going to get a bounce. i'm not worried about the bounce. that is what we look for in turn out the vote. he promised an upbeat speech. i brought my best party dress to the event. i have to tell you, i love the music, the fireworks. i agree with juan. they were absolutely fantastic. it was low energy. he was like stringing together the best of donald trump to try to make a song out of words that didn't really go together. but you know what? this was donald trump. it was his audience, it was held at the people's house, a house that he doesn't -- he may occupy the next four years or may not. this is what i like about conventions. we get a chance to see both parties. we get an opportunity to listen
8:51 pm
to that vision and now it's up to the american people to decide who they will hire to go back into their house next year. so i'm looking at that house right now. can't wait to get back in. >> great place for us to leave off. thank you all, panel. it's been great working with you for over two weeks. we went from a parking lot in wilmington to the south lawn of the white house hire. but really, you got to see both parties lay out what they are fighting for. the next 60 plus days it will play out in front of us. >> we've got at least three debates ahead of us and a fourth with the vice president and maybe a fourth presidential debate if that ends up happening before the early voting starts. so there's a lot to be laid down in this before november 3. we'll be watching it really closely. these two parties had a chance to put on the best show they could the last couple weeks. it's been a pleasure to watch it
8:52 pm
with you and all of our team. >> thank you. great to work with you. we're going to shut up. thanks for watching. >> "the ingraham angle" is next, everybody. good night. >> good night. ♪ >> and a stirring rendition of the national an them. i'm laura ingraham. this is "the ingraham angle" from the white house tonight. it was an incredible and electric speech. some said it was too long. this was his moment and he connected with this audience
8:53 pm
here and across the country. if you have any doubt in your mind what is at stake and who can keep america our country that we love safe and on the road to greater prosperity, donald trump just reminded you. in moments we'll be joined right here on set by the president's son, donald trump jr. he's making his way over here right know and south dakota governor and rising star, kristi noem. but first, the president knows the democrats are taking on political water after for months excusing these riotous events. they cold them protests for the longest period of time. they went into massive looting that did enormous destruction. he took their pathetic and attempt to take the shift to president trump and he took that on tonight. >> in the strongest possible
8:54 pm
terps, the republican party condemns the rioting, the looting, arson and violence we've seen in democrat run citi cities like kenosha and minneapolis. they never mentioned all the rioting in their convention. now they're starting to mention it because their poll numbers are going down like a rock in water. >> joe biden and his vice president kamala harris came out today and suddenly started condemning the violence. well, where were they last week? they had an entire convention last week. they didn't mention the violence once. blandly referred to protests and the courageous protests. the attempt to lay the destruction in those cities at
8:55 pm
the feet of donald trump, he wasn't going to stand for that at all. >> look, if you think about it, donald trump saying you're not go doing be safe in joe biden's america, all the video being played is being played in donald trump's america. these guys are rooting for vial lentz. that's what this is about. >> you think the president of the united states is rooting for the violence because he thinks it helps him politically? >> i think he views it as a political benefit. >> mayors and governors from minnesota, wisconsin, oregon, denied the president's attempt to bring calm to the streets. they rejected it all together. so are these the leaders that we want to turn the keys of the country over to? they all vote for biden. the ones that engage in this disgusting political calculation. so they're putting partisan interesting above the safety of our people? trump doesn't need political wins to push him in the right position. he's always been there.
8:56 pm
>> your vote will decide is whether we protect law-abiding americans or whether we give free reign to violent anarchists and agitators and criminals that threaten our citizens. >> to drive that point home, the president asked an important question tonight. watch. >> at the democrat national convention, joe biden and his party repeatedly assailed america as a land of racial economic and social injustice. so tonight i ask you a simple question. how can the democrat party ask to lead our country when they spend so much time tearing down our country. >> the answer is they can't and they shouldn't. the left is obsessed with power and as the president said tonight, they'll try to get it back by any means necessary. unlike president trump who puts the people's interest first, they put their political
8:57 pm
interests first and this is why they want to try to take the reins of power from him. >> from the moment i left my former life behind and it was a good life, i have done nothing but fight for you. i did what our political establishment never expected and could never forgive breaking the cardinal rule of washington politics. i kept my promise. >> america is a better country because of those promises were fulfilled. with me now is molly hemingway, senior editor at the federalist and ari fleischer, former press secretary. both are fox news contributors. molly, i think it's safe to say that america got their contrast tonight. >> it's just stunning to compare the democratic convention last week with the one this week in substance and in style.
8:58 pm
substantively, the democrats were so pessimistic, so down on the country. not explaining their policy positions. republicans were eager to talk about policy. every night was a focus on policy achievements, whether it's criminal justice reform, education policy. they seemed wanting to tell the country about why they do the things they do. it was also a big indictment of the media itself. going to this convention and seeing the story being told that is completely hidden by the media or lied about by the media about the accomplishments of the trump administration. i think that explains a bit about why so many people in the media are not having the best night. they know the democrats didn't have a good convention and the republicans did and its frustrating to them. >> ari, watch the tweets being sent out during this address by members of the media over there. they were angry that people
8:59 pm
weren't socially distant and didn't have masks on. seems like the country is craving normalcy. they like seeing people back together again. we're a social people. we want to be together. is that criticism going to land and cut through the optimism of tonight? >> it will for democrats. for democrats, this is what they really they look at a scene like this and they can't identify with it. i just thought hearing applause was refreshing. haven't heard that in six months. i was struck when i look at the difference between the two. the democrat convention is about donald trump is bad. the american, the man, he's bad. what donald trump laid out tonight was something much deeper. it was what will happen if the democrats win? it's societal. it's cultural. as the president put it, he talked about speech codes and cancel culture and conformity. he talked about the violence in the cities. that is societal. that is the implications if this
9:00 pm
continues and the democrats stay in charge of the cities and joe biden wins. that is much more powerful message. >> we're approaching the top of the hour. and we're just getting started here on "the ingraham angle." we'll be right back just a few moments. molly, here's another way in which your -- you can see trump drawing a clear distinction between the republicans and the democrats. >> we will rekindle new faith in our values, new pride in our history and a new spirit of unity that can only be realized through love for our great country. because we understand that america is not a land cloaked in darkness. america is the torch that enlightens the entire world. in this country yes don't look
9:01 pm
to career politicians for salvation. in america, we don't turn to government to restore our souls. we put our faith in almighty god. >> molly, you heard this applause when the president very often referenced god and the almighty providence on the pro life question. that is really where he got the applause. how significant were the religious undertones tonight? >> not just tonight but throughout the convention again. there were these themes of redemption and opportunity. it wasn't just about having people give prayers to begin or end the evening, which is standard. it was woven through every -- most every one's speeches. people were being allowed to talk freely and openly about their faith. and it was in strong contrast to some of what we've seen in the
9:02 pm
culture. the embrace of pro life values and not just be in a speech but many speeches. reaching out, ernestly seeking black voters to come join the republican party and doing it based on policy and not just platituded. going through all the things that the trump administration has done to try to gain black voters and gain their trust and get them to vote with republican party this time around and they were real things. funding for historically black colleges and universities. criminal justice reform, job growth, wage growth that benefits black men and women. this sun like anything we've seen with the republican party. it was just less scared about talking about these things openly, whether it was faith, race or any of these issues that the republicans have not done a great job with previously. >> ari, i worked for president reagan the last couple years of his administration. the optimism of this week and
9:03 pm
especially tonight, it -- i got a lump in my throat. took me back to when -- i was in my early 20s, walking these grounds and giving tours in a domestic policy shop. it was lee greenwood, embracing the reagan optimism. how can that be for the young voters. that we're not a dark place, a place of great opportunity? teach that to the kids. i got that tonight strongly. >> that is always part of an election. there's always a group that just wants to feel good about our country. if things are really bad, they want to change. they want to get rid of the incumbent. if they are hopeful and that patriotism and nobody does it like the republicans, makes the press whine a lot but you have to love it more. it's part ant parcel of republicanism. we wear it on our sleeves. it's about the flag, too.
9:04 pm
when you see people burn flags in this day and age, it tears you up inside. then you hear this tonight. you listen to the speeches, see law enforcement. it's what conventions are supposed to be about. >> ari, molly, stay there. we'll get back to you in a few moments. >> joe biden is >> president trump: joe biden is not a savior of america's soul, he is him destroyer of america's jobs, and if given the chance, he will be a the destror of american greatness. for 47 years, joe biden took the locations of blue-collar workers, give them hugs and even kisses. [laughter] [applause] and told them he felt their pa pain.
9:05 pm
and then he flew back to washington and voted to ship our jobs to china. and many other distant lands. joe biden spent his entire career outsourcing their dreams and the dreams of american workers. i ran for president because i cannot watch this betrayal of our country any longer. >> laura: here with exclusive reaction on this final night of the rnc and the president's big speech, his son, donald trump jr. don, your father laid out a clear vision for this country, which as we are moving forward, we've gotten past a lot of this most difficult part of covid with the tragedy that it is, and he laid out a vision of optimism and hope, which i just get the sense people are craving in america. >> i really do, too, laura. i felt t proud to be an america, and honestly, watching the last four days of the rnc, you compare and contrast that to last week, which was this never
9:06 pm
ending, i hate america zoom call, the stories -- that could only happen in america, the american dream happening over and over to so many people of such diverse backgrounds, it's just been an amazing week come into tonight popped it off like nothing else. >> laura: how about you personally? it is an emotional moment, an amazing four years for your family, but a very difficult time, personally, for your family, as well, through all of the ups and downs, investigations. personally, how are you feeling? >> i feel great, because it is all worth it as an american, right? it wasn't easy at times, you know that, and we have seen with the worst of government can try to do. you think about the beginning of this for years, it was the first time we had a not peaceful transition of power. that is one of the great american traditions, something that went on for 240 plus years, until now. until donald trump. and what's amazing about it, and what's amazing about my father,

to me, despite all that adversity -- trying to throw his family in jail, unmasking his children, a russia hoax, that they are still talking about today as though it's real, you know, impeachment -- he still delivered for the american people, he still put his head down, pushed through everything, and got it done and delivered for the american people. that's an anomaly. that doesn't happen. that is once in a generation, at best, for an american politician to fight through that kind of adversity and still deliver, and still get it done, and that is what donald trump is all about. >> laura: today, joe biden finally came out and condemned the violence, as did kamala harris, they both appeared after last week having not said anything, and they say this is donald trump's america, in the cities we are seeing the worst violence, laying the blame at your father's feet. >> it's been going on for months, not one person, not one person, laura, mentioned the violence, the rioting, the looting that has been going on around our country. in democrat cities, in democrat
9:08 pm
states, led by mayor democrats, led by city councils that are all democrat. not one person mentioned it, in one week at the dnc, but now, when cnn says "we know this is really kind of affecting the for numbers, it's getting ridiculous, now joe biden decides to step up, it's like the rest of joe biden's policies, right? now, after half a century in the swamp, after half a century, now he is going to deliver for the american people. why would you wait 50 years? why wouldn't you do it now? if joe biden could deliver for the american people, you think we have seen some of it by now. it's nonsense, it's smoke and mirrors. they do with the polling tells them, what cnn tells them, and with the radical left tells him if they ever get office, but i don't think we let that happen. >> laura: right now, i'm being told -- i'm not going to call them protesters, because most of them are criminals -- threatening to burn, once again, st. john's church down if they don't get what they want to. they have gathered around the
9:09 pm
white house during the president's remarks, trying to drown him out, it didn't work, but it looks like we have another situation developing being described as a riot in some circles tonight already. your reaction to what that represents, versus what we saw tonight? >> i think it's disgusting, right? they're trying to burn down churches. burn down government buildings, ripped down monuments to lincoln and our founders. it is just mind-boggling. again, it shows the american people what we are truly up against, when you have a mainstream media that for weeks or pretending this was people protesting, right? you saw the other day on cnn, fiery but mostly peaceful protests, while there are buildings burning in the background and people being killed in the streets. this isn't donald trump. this has been democrat policies, where democrat people have allowed this to happen. vapes that body, haven't condemned it, sat by and watched it happen in their streets as if there is passive acceptance, because the democrat party is
9:10 pm
far more likely to stand with a criminal than they are with law-abiding citizens and the american dream. >> laura: the mayor of d.c. could have stopped a lot of th this. >> of course they would. >> laura: in the eyes of a lot of people here tonight, this was an attempt to really stifle and put a damper on this event tonight. could you hear it up where you were? >> not really. you could hear a little bit with the air horns and stuff, but that's the difference between the left and the right of. they want to actually silence our freedom of speech. >> laura: they do not want him to go to america. especially swing states, blue state governors, where there is a mix of people, they don't want him to campaign, so what will your father do? will he be stopped from reaching out and being with this country in the next couple of months? >> he's going to do it anyway, that's his happy place. joe biden's happy place is in his basement with a
9:11 pm
teleprompter. it donald trump wants to speak directly to them, the first president in modern history that spoke to them in a campaign and then followed up and delivered r them. >> laura: we go to wisconsin, the site of another police involved shooting, that the puzzle he triggered a lot of violence, would he go there? >> he'll be there amongst other places. the vice president will be in michigan tomorrow, our family will be all over the country, traveling, for the next 60 days, making sure that america ends get a chance to see our message, doing whatever they can to prevent us from speaking directly to the people and being directly with the people, becaue democrats are the party of anarchy right now. we want our kids to be able to go to work, church, and school, but they don't want that. >> laura: but they can do this. >> this is totally acceptable. >> laura: don, hillary clinton said biden should not accept defeat. if he loses, do not accept defeat. after they accused your father of someone who wouldn't accept
9:12 pm
defeat himself, your answer to hillary clinton tonight? >> hillary clinton hasn't accepted defeat from 2016. he's been doing this nonsense, and then -- it's mind-boggling, what she can continue to perpetrate on the american people. she has been running around pretending as though she won the last few years, then talks about the popular vote, if we are running for the popular vote, if that was how to play the game, we would have campaigned differently, but that's not it was, she hasn't accepted that. like many politicians on the left don't accept their elections, because i believe stacey abrams, the governor of georgia come in her mind only, also hasn't conceded that election, laura. >> laura: how will your dad bring calm to the country if he is reelected? how does this begin to subside? >> i think calm starts with peace of mind. we've got to bring back jobs, do the things for manufacturing that he started doing already but that only he can do. joe biden is talking about bringing jobs to america after 50 years of stripping them abroad, why the change now, joe?
9:13 pm
why are we to believe -- is anyone stupid enough, frankly -- to believe this guy can do this now? this guy can't remember where he is 50% of the time, laura, it's almost -- it's sad if it wasn't so scary. this is the future for our children. i want the guy that actually came in with no d.c. experience, who wasn't part of the swamp, that saw something that was failed and decided to come in and fix it. that is what donald trump did for america, and that is why we forgo more years of donald trump. >> laura: donald trump, thank you so much. thanks for being here tonight. now i want to bring back ari fleischer. ari, former police captain david doran gave an absolutely searing and heart-wrenching speech tonight. >> how did we get to this point? are so many young people are callous and indifferent towards human life. dave is never never coming back to me. he was murdered by people who
9:14 pm
didn't know and just didn't ca care. he would've done anything to help them. violence and destruction are not legitimate forms of protest. they do not safeguard black lives. they only destroy them. president trump understands th this. has offered federal help to restore order in our communities. we must heal before we can affect change. but we cannot heal amid devastation and chaos. president trump knows we need more david's in our communities, not fewer. >> laura: ari, you juxtapose comments like that from and dorn, obviously a heartbroken woman come up with what we are seeing outside of the white house, and your heart has to break for america, and those men and women out there in uniform who have to tolerate abuse night after night from these types of criminals in the
9:15 pm
streets. >> my heart broke watching ann dorn tonight. she was so emotional, so personal, so vivid. about what happened. all because her husband tried to do the right thing and go out and protect, and when you look at what is happening in d.c. now, you have to pray none of that will happen in washington. what are they trying to accomplish in washington? i don't know yet. let's see what all of these videos need to, but did any of that happened in wilmington? did people descend upon joe biden and his speech in wilmington, for whatever purpose, to shout him down? and i saw also another video of people who left the white house to go to a hotel around the corner. mobs have descended around those people, and they are screaming and chanting and yelling in their faces. why? this level of mayhem is not good for our country and is going to hurt the democrats in november. >> laura: if
