lot of people who don't like the messaging from the president, words he uses, how bold he is if you want to say that but that being said is what is going on in our country right now his fault? >> again this goes on america as a whole, every leader prior to him, leaders on the local level, leaders on the federal level in congress, those who been in congress democrats and republicans the last 20 or 30 years that have done nothing about this problem so it's not on one person. it's ridiculous to say what is going on in america right now goes on one person. is he making a better? know. do i think democrats are making a better, no. i think right now to be honest with you this is a mess all the way around and this is why we are seeing the frustration we are building up from democrats and republicans with this frustration on lack of leadership. >> let's get to the horse race part of this. look at the latest poll from emerson out of massachusetts and you can see presidential preference much tighter than it was just a few months ago,

perfect frankly just a few weeks ago. does biden still hold the upper hand as those previous polls had earlier indicated? >> i never want to believe in the polls. i was sitting in this same seat in 2016 and found out no one knows anything. what i think the major concern is donald trump has been on the ground organizing. joe biden has to figure out a way to organize that side of the basement, whether he has to put on 6 different masks. he has to figure out some type of way to engage with the people because that is an advantage to donald trump. do i think he should be having rallies without masks? now but at the end of the day he is engaging with folks, meeting folks in the swing states. of joe biden wants to have a chance he has to do something because it is hurting him for sure. >> there are a lot of issues that are really important to people, coronavirus, violence, the economy, what will be the biggest one when people are making that vote?

attack. they will take much of their funding away. as far as the sheriff in los angeles iran on kicking ice out day one. when he became sheriff his first action, his first law enforcement action was kick ice out of his jail. he stopped being a law enforcement officer, stopped being a sheriff and became a politician. i would suggest take the badge off his chest and put it in his desk drawer because he became a politician. law enforcement officer does not release public safety back into the public, his number one responsibility to protect the community and you said he's doing it to protect victims and witnesses to report crimes, when you release public safety threat, especially when it is here illegally he is going to reoffend a very community lives. that decision puts the immigrant community at greater risk of crime. nobody wants to release a bad guide to exact revenge and also

these people felt their lives were threatened, their property in jeopardy, people were trespassing on their private property and the facts will bear that out but at the end of the day the people who will win are the millions of americans who want to defend their property and see this mob protesting is a real and legitimate threat. we have a second amendment right and we should be careful how we exercise it but this is the take away story. todd: interesting to see if there is a chilling effect of those individuals who want to protect their homes and families. joe biden may be out of the basement but is not accepting questions from the media. >> god bless you and may god protect our troops. todd: is biden going to keep of this strategy? to avoid gaps?
