choked up, think about me. looking to move over the course of the next couple whatevers and let me tell you everybody from new york city is entering connecticut or other places. take a look at these numbers. this is mind-boggling. westchester county where you live, 112% increase and fairview county which is close to me in connecticut 73%. this is the corresponding graphic, new york city home sales down 56%. how much longer do you expect this exodus to go on? >> i think the wall on the exodus is the supply of homes and the biggest reason why house prices are spiking the way they are is where i am in connecticut, where you are from, the reality is there's not enough homes on the market.

a lot of buyers are leaving the city in droves and don't have a lot of supply prices go up. the ultimate wall is the lack of supply, people getting by homes and leaving in the city, taking place. that is going to play after the rest of the year. jillian: look at articles online, currently this week a lot of studies say one of the most moved out of state is new jersey even on top of new york. we know new jersey has high taxes but poor people are opting for the middle america approach. a lot of friends say it is the first time in my life where i can work from anywhere i want to for the foreseeable future. >> there is a couple things happening. there was a trend where folks who lived in the northeast were moving out of this high tax and vitamin to florida or texas, that was happening before. then people figure out where to live, there actually, you hit

their states. >> yeah, no, they didn't change that at the university of georgia school of law. it's been over 100 days since the protests started in portland. it's been over 100 days as leslie mentioned since defund the police has been put into the public discussion. republican a.g.s immediately came out and condemned the violence opposed the defund the police. these 100 days there has been nothing but silence until monday when joe biden came out of the basement and finally made a comment about it. but, did he do it because of policy? no. did he do it because of principle? no, he did it because of polling. again, that's not something that they taught in law school. it's our duty as attorneys general to uphold the rule of law. the paramount duty of government is the protection of person and property. it says it right there in the georgia constitution and i believe it says it in a lot offer constitutions as well. todd: along those lines a.g.

rutledge i have heard a lot of pundits say liberal leaders including these liberals attorneys general are hoping to see what's happening in our cities, hoping for the violence, hoping for the destruction and in some instances okay with the death that we are seeing. are you willing to go that far and say that that's what they want just to get trump out of office? >> well, i absolutely hope not. i would encourage my colleagues from across the country to stand up against this sort of violence and protest and protect americans and to stand up for law enforcement. we must all come together and have civil discourse. now is not a time for civil up rest but rather civil discourse. again, parents want their kids to grow up in safe neighborhoods. we should all come together. i encourage the new york a.g. and illinois a.g. but really let's talk about wisconsin and what's happening there. let's talk about north carolina where the president is today and say folks now is the time for us to come together, protect those constitutional rights to peacefully protest but now is not the time for liberal
