>> at no time before has there been a clearer voice between two parties, two philosophies, two agendas for the future. joe biden spent 47 years selling out america. look at what he's done. everything he's done is wrong. even his secretary of defense and secretary of state said he always voted the wrong way. >> joe biden leaving the comforts of his couch to push his progressive agenda and attack president trump over climate change. >> you give a climate arsonist 4 more years in the white house, why would anyone be surprised if we have more of america ablaze? why would anyone be surprised when more of america is under water? >> and progressives, socialist bernie sanders is warning democrats that the election won't be a slam dunk for biden and offering up this advice.

>> i think biden is in an excellent position to win this election. but, i think we have to do more in the campaign just go after trump. trump is a disaster. i think most people know it. but we also have to give people a reason to vote for joe biden. >> bernie sanders was deep in the vermont woods there. >> [laughing]. >> juan williams, honestly. it looks like biden took the weekend off. they didn't campaign anywhere. today he goes to his home state and reads a speech. president trump was in nevada all weekend and now in california today and going to arizona later. without pointing to the polls, because they can be tricky, how is this strategy going to work for joe going forward? >> well, it's worked for him so far. the question is: what does joe biden do in the last 50 days of this race?

so far, it looks like things are breaking for him if you look at the money game. he had a record amount of money raised in august. now it looks like president trump is facing a money crunch. the advertising right now strongly favors joe biden in those swing states and mike bloomberg the former mayor of new york just put $100-million into one swing state, florida. that's a big boost to the biden campaign. you may know, biden is struggling right now with the latino vote. here comes bloomberg with a big boost in that regard. you have to keep in mind that right now, a lot of news cycle hasn't been favorable to president trump. >> oh, that's surprising. >> the wildfires out west.

>> have they ever been favorable? >> i am just saying right now given that and given the bob woodward book on the coronavirus, there are lots of things that just are not breaking the president's way. >> on the money thing, bloomberg spent a lot of money on running for president and that didn't work out. trump still has the money advantage. joe biden struggling with hispanics in florida. you can seen a lot of media ring the alarm over the weekend about that. trump does better than he did in 2016 with hispanics, that could be a big difference. >> well, i don't know what will happen. i would not be surprised if he does better with hispanics this time around. 1, hispanics are not just like going to vote just as a block. there are a lot of different times of hispanics. plus you have a difference in youth.

hispanics that love bernie sanders and then you have some older hispanics who love the economics that president trump came in with. and might be concerned with law and order issues. there are a lot of different things happening. there i think the hispanic vote might be a reason you saw president trump go to nevada. that's a state he would love to pick up. it's only 6 electoral college votes but the trump campaign is saying try. bloomberg fhe going to put $100-million into florida, you would think he might want to focus on seniors. president trump is not doing as well with seniors in florida as he did at this point in 2016. i don't think that paid advertising is going to be enough. president trump showed you could win in 2016 and not have as much money as before. i don't think that's that. the difference in these campaigns. i am trying to understand and

maybe they are right. maybe biden's team says we can sit here on this lead and don't have to go out there and don't have to win the news cycles. even though president trump has negative articles, he is out and about. there in california meeting with the governor. the governor of the opposing party today thanking and praising him right before an election. when did that happen before? hurricane sandy when barack obama came to new jersey and got a hug from christy and republicans were so mad. this is what you do as the president of the united states helping a state in desperate need of help and that's what you have in california. >> joe biden talked about climate change today. giving a speech out in the middle of nowhere with no one watching. the president is shifting into a higher gear.

he has an ad all about the economy. moving from law and order to the economy. the number 1 issue for voters in the fall. he will spend over $10 million to make the case. how do you see that playing out? >> he already in poll after poll, he wins on the economy. that's his strong suit. he needs convert voters from worrying about the coronavirus to worrying about the economic recovery. i want to know what bernie sanders is up to. there was a story in the "washington post" about him being critical of the biden campaign. he seems like he is this close to doing a big belly flop right into the biden campaign that is not helpful. the green agenda. joe biden soft pedalled it today. will bernie sanders say we are getting ready of fossil fuels in

15 years and electricity will go up? or will he remind the elderly voters who favor joe biden by 9% over trump that sanders was in favor ever getting rid of medicare and outlawing private health insurance. biden doesn't need mr. green jeans from vermont reminding people that biden could be the most progressive president since fdr. that's the fear that bernie sanders is the ventriloquist and joe biden is the dummy. >> greg, what about the emergence of bernie sanders? >> that's not the story. we have not talked about the fact that joe rogue an offered to moderate a 4 hour debate and trump accepted. joe biden was excited but

thought it was rogaine and not rogan. biden doesn't know who joe rogan is. it would be very, very valuable for our country to have a 4 hour debate then those two guys. somebody has to tell joe not to blame problems that existed when he was in power and he had done nothing to solve them. calling trump a climate arsonist is so desperate. that's like me blaming dana for my grades in college or blaming jesse for that one arrest in 1992. i didn't know jesse back then. he is blaming trump for forest management. that's the problem in california. it's not climate change. it's not reducing the dry fuel. i don't want to get into that one. i will make my daily plea.

with 50 days there will be 50 bombshells. juan, bob woodward's bombshell lasted approximately 30 minutes. they will have to recycle them and come up with new ones. social media will manipulate these stories. none of them will be true. they will be based in private conversations that can be taken out of context. you have private conversation taken out of context. what was the third part? and interpreted at their worst. that's every definition of a bombshell. they will do this every day. it's going to be manipulated lie twitter and google. be prepared. they will try to get us at our throats and we have to resist. >> what about when it's on tape!

leaders made this possible. maybe demonization is demonic. we don't like to hear that. but that happened to cops. so never mind. the nfl that was some game. did you kneel? dagan, on the l.a. count sheriff's twitters about the protestors shouting they wanted to the cops to die and blocked the entrance of the hospital. i thought it was a hoax. i still cannot believe it. i am denial. but it came from the sheriff's office. there was press there. >> it leaves a lump in my throat hearing you say that. i just kept thinking over and over, how did we get here as a nation?

remember, it's president trump who was supposed to give rise to this horrific distoppia in the united states. instead it's the left-wing anti-cop movement. it didn't start recently. i want to mention these two officers who were executed here in new york city by someone who took their own life. this was back in 2014. an officer was stabbed in the neck. >> and the officers in dallas? >> exactly. it's the lack of push back by the left. i will use a phrase i have heard people on the left say, silence is accepting the unacceptable. last year it was water thrown at cops. this year it's cements in water bottles. what is next? >> dana, do you think that there

is a link between this kind of violent rhetoric and the actual violence? >> well, i hope we find out some specifics here. they offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the perpetrator. this might be gang warfare or an individual that acted alone. do you realize, greg, i noticed that there is not a week that has gone by in the last several weeks, 3 months you have not done a monologue on this and you are not repeating the same story over and over. there are new stories that have to be tackled every week. i don't understand the depravity of somebody that would jeer the

victims at a hospital. law enforcement can help, but that's something much deeper. >> yes. >> it goes to the heart. >> juan, your thoughts? >> well, to me this is a despicable act that should be condemned by all and it has been. you hear president trump and former vice president biden both quickly said you can't have this kind of behavior had a civil society. it's unacceptable and wrong. that is clear. and president trump's campaign tries to exploit these events to undermine the whole notion of a racial justice movement. of a movement towards police reform. now you can't say that. the reality is that the

president's effort at this law and order rhetoric is not paying off. the polls are clear. we have a poll out today from monmouth that said 52% of americans think biden would be better at law and order than president trump. 61% said trump made the protests more violent and worse. you don't hear president trump saying the guy in kenosha who killed people he was a bad day or never said anything about the boy who skilled the court guard in a federal building in oakland. in los angeles it's hard to stop giving the horror of shooting these two policemen. but in context, two weeks ago a young man,kinsey, 29 was

stopped by cops. dropped clothes and a gun was in the clothes and he was shot to death. there have been a lot of anger in l.a. over that shooting. it doesn't justify what just took place. that's the whole story. >> that's whole story. so this shooting at 5:53, it only took you new minutes to connect it to trump. trump is responsible for elev e elevating the fury of the protests. got it. jesse? >> juan said it's donald trump undermining the cause for racial justice. not the guy that shot the cops in cold blood. it's the president for talking about the guy that shot the cops in cold blood. he is the bad guy. got it, juan. here's the thing. the president can't fan the flames of this violence when it's the democratic party that over the summer said police

department are systemic racism and hunting down unarmed black people. it was the same climate where the guy sympathized with the new black panther party in dallas and sniped off police officers in dallas. we have seen footage all summer of democrats throwing woks and bottles at police. lighting their precincts on fire and joe biden says violence of all kinds needs to be condemned. what do you mean ever all kinds? i got the feeling all summer that certain times of violence was okay with you. >> right. coming up next. president trump battles nevada's governor or holding an indoor rally. that's next. knowing who we are is hard.

people at risk. what do you think? >> well, wearing a mask and washing your hands and keeping a social distance, we know more than we did in february when we were told we didn't need to wear a mask. we know wearing a mask helps prevent the spread. we want to get back to normal. the best way is to wear the mask when it is needed. i understand the governor's frustration. however, if you looked at pictures from the las vegas strip, there are all of these people out there very close together and not wearing masks either. i think the problem is not just at large gathers for a trump campaign rally, but elsewhere. the other thing is i think in some ways this controversy just helps president trump in nevada. this year there is no big democratic race or name coming to the state. no big senate or governor's

race. when president trump goes he gets the vegas and reno news market. the rest of the area is rural. it's big time trump country and probably love having him there. for me, myself, if i went i would wear a mask. >> jesse, the governor said the rally was a threat to set the state back in terms of its progress in dealing with the coronavirus. i think there is a chart from the "new york times" you wanted to cite. take a look. >> no, it's not a very good chart. i don't like the way they did the chart. look at the thing. you know how many people died yesterday from coronavirus in nevada? 3. they are averaging about 5 to 6 or 7 deaths a day in nevada. that's more than we should be having but not a lot of deaths. they flattened the curve. this thing turned the corner in
