individual who is still at larg at this hour attempted assassination of two, police officers in their squad cars in cold blood. again, viewer warty. the video we are about to show you is extremely graphic. it's sad and also something we need to now unite and represent. the surveillance footage shows that perpetrator opening fire on cops and running away like a coward. both officers were shot and both remain in critical condition. one of the l.a. deputies a 31-year-old mother shot in the jaw but look at this. a she is seen rendering aid to her 24-year-old partner shot in the head. this comes after months and months of anti-police protests that the democrats denied in los angeles and months of anti-police rhetoric from liberal democrats across the country.

with their anti-police budget to slash the lapd funding by $150 million. kamala harris praised that cut. more on that coming up. along with the sickening footage of anti-police protestors blocking the emergency room entrance and exit to the hospital where these two officers are in critical condition. they were chanting, we hope they f-ing die. we have the tape. joining us now with the latest from the hospital where the deputies are being treated is bill. what is the latest with these i officers? >> sean, good evening. i have good news. both officers those deputies are in stable condition tonight and expected to make it which is absolutely incredible when you

take into account they were both shot in the face less than 48 hours ago. both stable and expected to make it. let's talk about how we got here in the first place. the surveillance video we sent to you. this was saturday evening at the compton station. two deputies inside their vehicle looking out for the safety of the public when this coward comes out of nowhere and walks up to the window and pulls out a gun and ambushes these two deputies. he runs away from the scene. this next photo. it's graphic but it's a powerful photo that the families of the deputies and the sheriff himself sgave me permission to show to the public. the female deputies is a mom ofo a six-year-old child. she was shot through the jaw but still got out of the vehicle to help her partner with a tourniquet.

the male deputy, 24 years old, was shot in the forehead but the bullet did not penetrate his cranial cavity. this photo is incredible. the bravery the female deputy shows. she applies a tourniquet to her mouth. this is hard to listen to. it's a radio call. that brave female deputy put out. she was shot through her jaw. but she is able to get this radio call out. take a listen. >> [radio chatter]. >> [mumbling]:

candidate that said police become the enemy.en of course we should redirect funds away from the police. then we heard, in the dnc violence was mentioned twice in passing. it's been happening for over 100 days. i will go over the list of how many officers have been murdered. your reaction in terms of a leadership position and of top politicians bashing police on a daily basis. i want your reaction.. >> all right. oni don't support any elected leader, anyone who is an influencer in society has an obligation to support law and order. i heard things at the local level that is astonishing. they are fanning the flames. pouring gas on the fire. they are not bringing people together. they are further dividing people. it's reprehensible.
