donald trump, friendly audience but we haven't seen a lot of campaigning from joe biden. this is the closest we got what he did tonight. donald trump seems to be doing more what was so four years ago that worked out so well for him them. >> laura: laura logan, what was interesting in the biden event tonight was there wasn't the moderator debating the canada like you had at abc where george stephanopoulos is interjecting, oh, no you said this two years ago and wait a second whaton about this? you didn't have any of that but fairly straightforward questions and minimal follow-up. did you notice that? >> well, laura, that has been consistent, right, how it has been for some time now with every single interview. not just this interview. what i'm really struck by because i've been a journalist for more than 35 years. i've never seen a press corps treat a president the way this president has been treated. you know, people get up in arms

and war and ragee when i say tht kind of thing. i'm some kind of judy is so scary it and how can i betray the media b by saying that and f course, the responses donald trump did that to himself. but i justms wasn't raised that way, right? i was raised this is the office of the president. this isn't justld about donald trump.. the from the beginning look at donald trump and all the terrible things he does and says, you know and just focus on him. don't notice what we are doing in the meantime to the country. and that is pretty revealing when you look at what is happening in many of these cities like minneapolis where the police have been defunded and in austin where rezoning single-family home areas because they say those systemically racist -- there is a lot of quiet erosion of the principles upon which america was founded that is been going on while everybody is so focused on whether donald trump is to tandoor not or if he saidot

low-income families and minority communities? >> should pre-existing conditions obamacare brought into fruition be removed? >> no. >> please stop and let me finish my question, sir. >> laura: wow! mollie night and day and biden gets the softballs and his campaign slipped cnn one of the questioners and a list of supporters to ask. trump is debating the liberal questioners and one of the questioners tonight on cnn was actually on twitter with multiple photos of himself with campaign posters of joe biden, supporting joe biden. so obviously supporters are asking favorable questions of biden. >> it is beyond propaganda what you are seeing with how the media are treating the two different campaigns. it used to be say the media acted as a public relations for

the democrat party but i think it is much easier to understand as essentially running the biden campaign with the trouble that biden is having with typical campaigning. less of a problem for donald trump i think in that he seems to thrive with the hostile media audience but something republicans i do think need to think about whether to allow themselves to be treated like second class citizens by so mans people in the media. it is interesting despite the media claiming about donald trump and you look at the headlines and the questions they pick for these debates or whatnot and they betray him as this evil monster, a racist and whatnot and at the same time, donald trump is doing better than he did in 2016 with various minority voters. it doesn't matter so much with the media are saying because i think they were so extreme, people are having trouble believing anything they have to say. >> laura: and i know you've done so much of this on fox nation and new special on fox nation and we have seen the

rise of antifa and extremist on the left but nancy pelosi comes out today to condemn the violence three and a half months in. what is that all about, poles, or something else? >> it is obvious what that is about, right? so many americans looking at the situation on the streets and they are concerned what it means for them. walking through and saying out of your house onto the streets, people are being attacked for the color of their skin. we are returning to a time in this country which is by the way in the rearview mirror. the scene is going backwards where the color of your skin will not define you. it concerns people. quite honestly, laura, it is hypocritical and quite nauseating. i have to agree with mollie. it is beyond reprehensible at this point. if you imagine you are a democrat supporter now, you actually think the violence in the cities that trump supports,

finding any evidence and every thing of significance like guilty pleas from fbi attorneys to falsifying evidence and none of that matters or is significant. the alternative universe they created for people who if they are not looking for any outside view and they keep putting people forward like adam schifff who lied and lied and lied, john brennan, peter strzok, on the things they are complicit and possibly broken the law. it is really quite astonishing. but in spite of all of that,gh mollie is right. people are not falling for it. you know, things to a group of young reporters out there risking their lives on the front line of antifa's war against america who we know the truth about so many of the things that are happening on the streets. because honestly, the media andn end many of those places are not doing their job. some of them are but it is remarkable on a national scale

they are still lying about this and downplaying it. the fbi director has to come out to say what he said today, even he seemed reluctant. so there is a real issue here at the heart of this about why the left and so many in law enforcement downplay this threat. because it is fundamentally dishonest and at odds with the fact. >> laura: i think they know end hopes donald trump and they don't want to do anything helping donald trump eras with a sacrifice law and order, they will do it. let's get back to president trump and musk wisconsin on the campaign trail. periods before they clean your tphones so they don't have any information. that is a big problem with them i would imagine. it is a disgrace that they can do it, h but when you go back my hillary, acid wash, right? did you ever -- and she also used it with a hammer, but we forget that right? let's see what happens with all of that stuff.

i think bill barr is doing an excellent job my have to tell you. it is the bars and the restaurants and the clusters are going up sharply. five clusters and 20 cases total from restaurants and a thousand cases from nursing homes and health care transmission, over a thousand from construction sites and somehow the city extremely dependent on tourism, bars, restaurants decided to lockdown the bars, close them completely cut restaurants back to 50%, and then they said we have no money for the government andit need to raise property taxes 34%. this has about as bad as it gets into your point this is not the only place this is happening. this is one of the only places you have really good local activist pushing back. there is a great group of nashville who push back and able to obtain these emails. i heard h they have other stuff coming. we need efforts like that everywhere in the country because i think they are only basically two cogovernments once lying and the ones i own to don't understand the data.
