tv   Watters World  FOX News  September 19, 2020 5:00pm-6:00pm PDT

5:00 pm
by the death of ruth bader ginsburg. thanks for watching. "watters' world" is next. jesse: welcome to "watters' world." i'm jesse watters. the president is speaking right now. let's stay on it. >> they don't like trump too much. now biden is recklessly campaigning against the vaccine. it's really reckless. and all it is is for political reasons. biden's whole deal is catastrophic shutdowns. we are getting better, we are coming along, and he's talking about coming along. we don't need shutdowns. a little area if it starts to spike, we understand, we will
5:01 pm
take care of our senior citizens. he said i will do whatever the medical people want. i believe in science. president trump: we are not doing shutdowns. we are rounding the turnout shutdowns. that's another one that will be controversial. he's saying it's happening. it's going along without the vaccine. biden's own chief of staff said when they managed the h1n1 that he calls the n1h1. "h" comes before "n." but he always gets it wrong. it's great to be with the great people of iowa. they say, sir, you are in idaho. i haven't made that mistake so far. if you do, just leave the stage. you can speak as well as i
5:02 pm
mentioned, winston be churchill. he was a stutterer and he became one of the greatest speakers ever. just leave the stage, you can't recover. he made it oftentimes. remember new hampshire? and it was vermont. i think there was one, he was in ohio and he said he was in florida, right? but he couldn't find any palm trees. we just got a poll from ohio. through the roof. great state of ohio. good governor. great state of the ohio. but when they managed the h1n1 swine flu, from his top person that restaurant, quote, we did every possible thing wrong. 60 million americans got h1n1. in that period of time it was a
5:03 pm
total disaster. he basically said we didn't know what the hell we were doing. this is the guy that's going to tell us what to do with something that's much more lethal. this is much more lethal than the swine flu. the h1n1 had the same fatality rate as the china virus. over 2 million people would have already perished. they didn't know what they were doing. that guy could not have been very popular in democrat politics. we are building ventilators. we are the ventilator capital of the world. we are sending them to other countries. and we have made a lot of governors look good. but we took care of them. we took care of governors, we took care of the states. november 3, north carolina will decide whether we'll return to
5:04 pm
record prosperity or whether we allow joe biden to impose a $4 trillion tax hike. ban american energy. confiscate your guns. shut down our economy. destroy the suburbs. you know they were saying women in the suburbs are not sure if they like me. they are starting to like me a lot lately because it's law and order. they want law and order. the you bu -- the suburbanites. four years ago they said woman will not vote for him. what took place? it did very well with women. women were great. we were way above everything.
5:05 pm
african-americans, we did great. hispanic we did great. have you seen african-american and his d and hispanic-american numbers? if it holds true, we'll set a record. a lot of jobs. a lot of jobs. a lot of great jobs. he wants to give free healthcare to illegal aliens. what that will do is destroy our country. number one we can't afford it. number two, everyone will come pouring into our country. when you say we are going to give you free education, free healthcare, we'll take care of you, everything is going to be perfect, we are going to give you, every single family -- we checked it out and he lied about this -- every single family is
5:06 pm
going to be given a brand-new silver cloud rolls-royce. i said that and cnn went, he lied about the fact that they are not getting a rolls royce. remember what i said. russia, if you are listening, find out where they are emails, whatever. everybody laughs. i laughed. they actually play it all the time. when he spoke to russia. they cut it up before the end. these people are sick. i want to erase your d he wants to erase your borders. it was a joke. everybody was laughing, but they refused to go that extra quarter second. he wants to indoctrinate your children with poisonous american lies in education. to combat the toxic left wing propaganda in our schools i'm
5:07 pm
launching a pro american lesson plan for students called 1776 commission. it's already done. [cheers and applause] [crowd chants usa!] president trump: the kids come home, they tell you things. it's a disgrace what they are teaching. we are ending it. we are taking school funds away from these crazy schools teaching horrible things, bad things, actually. we'll keep our children the truth about america that we are the most exceptional nation on the face of the earth, and we are getting better every single day.
5:08 pm
and no party in american that will not teach our children not to love america. the sleepy campaign joined forces with those trying to tear down america and our way of life. we have a great way of life, and getting better all the time. biden's running mate urged supporters to help bail rioters out of jail, including one for attempted murder. one who attempted to murder a police officer and a man accused of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl. 13 members of biden's staff donated to the same fund. that's where they are coming from. he's trying to go a little more right. but six months, he says there will nobody fracking which is not something i think the people of pennsylvania are thrilled
5:09 pm
with. texas, they like oil, they like guns, and they like god. so he comes out with a platform, no oil, we don't want oil. this is during the democrat deal. there will be no oil, no god, no guns. then the fake news said, donald trump is tied in texas. last time i was tied in texas until the day of the vote. then they announced, the polls in texas are closed, donald trump won the state of texas. think of it. he's against oil, he's again guns. the second amendment will be destroyed. if it's not me, do you think it's been easy? they wanted to get rid of the second amendment. they will get rid of their guns,
5:10 pm
right? religion. look what the they are doing to religion. the states, everything is closed but you are allowed to protest. that's why i say we are a protest. look at those people back there. turned the cameras around, please. they never do it. turn the cameras around, please. wow, thank you. that's a lot of people. we are proud of you. you ever notice, they never do it? right from the beginning they don't want to give us credit for these big crowds. when you see crowds like this or in wisconsin like i had a few nights ago, or last night that was so incredible in minnesota. we are going to win it, 1972. that's a long time ago. i think reagan won he state
5:11 pm
except minnesota. what we have done for them, we opened up their livelihood again. how about maine? i opened up 5,000 square miles of ocean. obama closed it. they said why? he had no idea. no fishing, no nothing. called it a monument, right off their shore. maine. if i don't win maine, maine contract digitally isn't republican. but i won maine too, actually, last time. i opened the waters up for fishermen and for lobster. maine. now they go, lobster fishing -- but 5,000 -- i said why did they close it? nobody was able to tell me. i opened it up by executive order. then i got the tariffs. they couldn't do business in
5:12 pm
europe or china because they were charging tariffs in maine. canada would take our fish and lobster. we would sell it to canada for nothing and they would sell it to china and europe because they didn't have to pay tariffs. you take one square mile, multiply it times 5,000. that's a big area even in an ocean. and it was the best area. i got rid of the tariffs. i told them, if you tariff our maine lobster people and fishermen and women, we are going to tariff your cars, which is a much bigger deal. it was amazing how quickly those tariffs were taken off. i did that in maine. it took me two weeks, once i found out about it. it's hard to believe it ever happened. someone said i am down in maine.
5:13 pm
how can i be down in maine after what i did. if i do that for maine and maine doesn't vote for trump, i don't think i will go back. their senator never did it. joe biden and the democrats want to cut police departments nationwide. in north carolina, 50 house members and candidates signed a pledge to slash police funding endangering your families. i was recently honored to be endorsed by 54 sheriffs throughout his state. and we are joined by many of them tonight. where are they? thank you, sheriffs. thank you. thank you.
5:14 pm
got to take care of our law enforcement. nobody can do the job like them. we have to let them do their job. we have to stop this nonsense. i was endorsed by think of this, new york's finest. deblasio, he doesn't have a clue what's happening. i think sleepy joe is worse, if you want to know the truth. this other guy is just an ideology that's just terrible. deblasio, new york's finest, the first time they endorsed a presidential candidate. that takes courage. think of it. chicago. the police in chicago, they can do their job. we don't even have to bring in the national guard. when we do it it takes 30 minutes and it's over. remember that beautiful scene they lined up, there was no
5:15 pm
social distancing in between these great tough guys. there was no social distancing, thom tillis. they had $250,000 outfits. they had more crap on their helmets, night goggles. they were wise guys. shouting at us. screaming at us. it all ended in minneapolis you saw it. what half-hour? they hit the cnn reporter in the knee. he went down. he said this is a friendly protest. it's wonderful to see. behind him it was all fire for blocks. it looked like berlin during the war. what are they doing? how does that help to be like senate how does that help? we are joined tonight by some great friends of mine and
5:16 pm
warriors who have been a fantastic help to me. one man especially the past year, he's been so great, couldn't be better. i'm look at numbers and you are doing very well. senator thom tillis. thank you,. tomthom.smart guy. he has a couple bills he's putting in. one if a sanctuary city causes problems, you can sue the sanctuary city. that's moving along, right? that's a great one. a man i just did a phone call for the other night. he's in a rough district. i see you are up in the polls.
5:17 pm
congressman rich hudson. great guy. he's a warrior. two people i really like because we fought like hell for them like a year ago. they had guts and they had what it takes. they didn't choke. a lot of people choke. they gag, they can't breathe. greg murphy and dan bishop. they didn't choke. they are fantastic. they are friends. we are friends. those two guys are incredible. thank you very much. great job. a man that should be your governor. he's doing well.
5:18 pm
lieutenant governor dan forest, everybody. great job. handsome guy. looks like cary grant. this guy has the state totally closed down. when are they going to open? dan, i guarantee, dan, this would have been opened up a long time ago and you would have done better. north carolina republican party chair, michael whatley. great job. michael. how we doing? how's it going? are we up? if i lose north carolina, i'm getting out of here. look at that. this is not just so you know, the crowd of a man that's coming
5:19 pm
in second. i say it all the time. i said it when i left michigan, 2016, the might of the election, hillary was there behind me in a prime location and she had 300 people. 32,000 people we had. 32,000 people. so it's now election day. i start thinking. i left win said, it looks like we are going to lose michigan. and we didn't. we won michigan. the first time in decades. many, many car plants are now opening up. a great gentleman who is retiring. prime minister abe of japan. i said shinzo, do me a favor. we need more car companies built here, not in japan.
5:20 pm
he said we cannot do that. this is a free enterprise system. i said please do it. he said i can't do it. i said shinzo you have to do it. the next day there was a story, five car companies opening up in michigan. he's a friend of mine. he's great. it's lucky he's a friend of mine. they did a lot. they helped a lot. what they have done here, by the way, in michigan, ohio. and by the way we all love south carolina, right? i think we love it. now, south carolina, we are winning here. south carolina, i late to say this to you. we are winning by 400 points, you know? i spoke to a great person in south carolina. i said sir, you don't virginia
5:21 pm
have to come. wire and we are up good. i would love it if you tie south carolina. a lot of activity in south carolina. you had the best yiefer ever had and they had the best year they have ever had. we are deeply honored to be joined by a military spouse, amy williams joined by her spouse townsend williams. at my state of the union address. everybody remembers. look at that. hi, amy. what a great place. we had a great state of the union. you are looking well. thank you very much. say hello to the whole family. thanks to the incredible
5:22 pm
sacrifices -- and they are our warriors, we are pursuing peace in afghanistan. it's very close. we'll soon be down to 4,000 soldiers. we are taking them out. they are serving as policemen. they have done a great job. i am not looking to kill 3 million people to win what? should have never been in the middle east. we are bringing them back just so you know. we are bringing them back from iraq. we are down to 2,000 soldiers in iraq. in syria we are all back, we are all finished except for one thing. i decided to keep the oil. we took the oil. we kept it. we'll always support america's incredible military families. thank you, darling. in everything we do we are putting america first. unlike other administrations.
5:23 pm
not just obama and biden. this has gone on for many years. we put america first, and that's what we are doing. other countries for the first time in decades, they respect us again. you know all about data, 28 countries, we had six countries that weren't current. i went in and said you are delinquent. you have got to pay. we were paying for it. we are protecting europe and they are screwing us on trade. no good. can't do it. i said it's unfair. the secretary-general solden stoltenburg.
5:24 pm
every time it goes down, they didn't pay. i said we are supposed to protect you. you are going to be attacked by russia, we are supposed to protect you. but you are delinquent and don't pay your bills. than that includes germany. 2% is way too low. so we got -- listen to this, it never gets reported by these fakers -- we got $130 million moral -- not total, more, going in three years to $400 billion. we are going from $130 billion to $400 billion. and they said to me, very nice guy the head of one of the countries said i can't believe it never got released. but now we can talk about it.
5:25 pm
they said, sir -- and this was a big private meeting of all of the nations. does that mean -- i said you have got to pay your bills. some did like poland and some others. but most didn't. we had 6 to 8 were current. and we were paying more than we should have been paying. there was no guarantee they would help us if we had a problem. we got so much stuff now -- we were depleted. what they said to me, does this mean -- and i had to give them this answer -- i can't believe it didn't get leaked by some sleaze bags. but a lot of it isn't leaked, it's just phoney stories. donald trump woke up today in a very bad mood.
5:26 pm
but there are no sources. i have been in a good mood because we have done so much for our country. but at the nato meetings, one of the presidents of one of the good countries, all good. they said, sir, does this mean if we don't pay, does this mean you are going to leave and you are not going to protect us? i said yes, that's what it means, i'm sorry. it was an amazing effect. because other presidents said we'll always protect you. even if you don't pay, even if our taxpayers pay for everything. even if you take advantage of us on trade. you don't let our cars in. even though you tariff our products. even though you do everything and you take advantage of us with the military. we'll always protect you. they didn't pay. why in the hell would they pay?
5:27 pm
i thought these guys are stupid. they said does this mean you won't protect us anymore if we don't pay? i said i'm sorry to say it does. it was amazing how the money came in. we took in $130 billion a year just because i asked. just because i asked. they don't report that story. then we got delight weights that i fired. they write books about me that i'm a bad guy. he treats our allies so badly. no, our allies treat us badly, everyone takes advantage of our country. and we don't put up with it. we get along better now because they respect us again. before they thought we were
5:28 pm
stupid. they respect us again. true. look at israel. look what we did. i saw kerry the other day. he gave iran $150 billion plus $1.8 billion in cash. sometimes in negotiation when you have given everything and they want more, you get and walk. remember the bicycle accident? 73 years old. i promised you i will never ever ride a bicycle in a race or any other time, frankly. and he broke his leg and his arm and he was all screwed up. it was a good thing because it delayed the signing of that horrible deal which i terminated. i saw them the other day.
5:29 pm
mark my words, you will never ever sign deals with arab countries with israel. it can't be done. when we just signed the two great ones. we have seven more that want to come in. one of us. one of us. then they say bad things about your president. they don't like my foreign policy. i like my foreign policy. you like it. we were taken advantage of by the whole world. so stupid. we spent the last four years reversing the damage that biden and his crew inflicted on us over a 47-year period. joe biden is weak and he supported every globalist sellout of north carolina. the workers. what he's done. way say is him and people in his little group that you achieved
5:30 pm
so much over a period of time. how bad was nafta, china's entry into the world trade organization. ppp would have destroyed our car industry. and he joined and wanted to join the paris climate accord. that would have cost you trillions of dollars. that was actually designed to put us out of business. surrendered your jobs to china and other countries. this state lost 43% of all manufacturing jobs after the nafta and china disasters. you know that. you lost 43%. but i think the real number is 61%. biden says this is an election between scranton -- he left scranton. he likes to say, i was born in pennsylvania. his father left. it's not his fault.
5:31 pm
he went to delaware. he doesn't leave delaware, that i can tell you. every time i see this guy, wilmington, delaware. i'm in los angeles, trying to work on the fires. they need to do some for rest management. d forest management. the floors of the forests are dry like match sticks. this is an election not between scranton and wherever it is. it's between scranton and china. i am with america, bind is with china. if biden wins, china wins. if i win, america wins. and the american workers win in he single state. to save our auto industry, i
5:32 pm
withdrew from the trans-pacific partnership. i ended the nafta nightmare. all those empty buildings all over the place. but a lot of them filled up because of us. i proudly signed the u.s.-mexico-canada agreement. we invested $2.5 trillion in the u.s. military. defense spending in north carolina soared by $1 million a year. congratulations, good job. we launched the fist new branch of the u.s. armed forces. this by itself would be a big achievement. right to try, the military, the vets. we have done so much. but 75 years, the last one was
5:33 pm
the air force, the army, the navy, the air force, the marines, the coast guard. pacguard. space force. i hadn't even promised that. one of them said he probably did more than he promised. i am probably the first politician in history. these are the most incredible people. stand up. turn around for the cameras so they can see how incredible you are. man oh man. what a life. but we took care of the va with veterans choice. you saw that. what obama passed was nothing. it wasn't working. the mission act. and accountability where we can fire people in the va that aren't taking good care of our vets.
5:34 pm
you are fired. get out. out. we killed the founder and leader of isis, al-baghdadi. we took out the world's number one terrorist and the mass murderer of american troops, quassem soleimani. he's dead. i withdrew from the last administration's disastrous iran nuclear deal. i kept my promise, recognized the true capital of israel and opened the american embassy in jerusalem. and we got it built. and i would sign a sheet of paper -- you heard the story, $1.1 billion. i said what's this for. he said sir, we are going to build an embassy in israel.
5:35 pm
i say how much is it? $1.1 billion. we have friends of mine, builders. i don't know what's going on. so i said, so, does it have to cost so much? yes, sir, we are buying land. i called david freedman, he's our ambassador and he loves israel. he's ambassador, he's there. i said david they want to spend $1.1 billion on a one-story embassy. will you take a look, maybe we own some land. he calls back and says be sir, we have a great piece of land. a much better location, a much bigger piece. we have a setback building that we can renovate and make it great. i said that's fantastic. how much will it cost to
5:36 pm
renovate the building? i think we can do it for $190,000. i said david -- the first time i have ever done this. i said david, you have got to spend more than that. so a friend of miami, ron baron. he has an office building. he has jerusalem stone facing the elevators. every time i go in he said you have got to see jerusalem stone. he's so proud of it. he doesn't talk about anything but his jerusalem stone. i said do me a favor, do they havers * stone? they have so much they don't know what to do with it. i said use all jerusalem stone when you do your renovation. wrap it in jerusalem stone. i think we ended up spending $500,000. it wouldn't be built in 20 years
5:37 pm
from now. they like it so much they gave up the plan. they think it's better. the biden agenda -- i could tell you stories like that all night long. the aircraft carriers that cost 10 times more than they should cost. then they use the electric catapults. they don't want to use steam because it's too simple because it works, because it's better. so they go to electric catapults that they are working on for years. elevators operated by magnets instead hydraulics. it sounds good. it doesn't work. one glass of water those magnets are gone. i could have told them before. i asked the architect. have you ever built a ship before? unbelievable. you heard the story about air force one. i said to boeing, it has to have
5:38 pm
a 3 in front of it. they were going to buy air force one 5.7 billion. but it's a hell of a plane. i said how much is the new plane. $5.7 billion, sir. i said that's a lot of money. air force one is two planes. they have been flying around with two planes for 30 years. so i assume somebody knows. our air force one is 31 years old. a lot of the arab sheiks come in and they have a brand-new one. so i said, 31 years old. 747. bigger wing span. it's beautiful. i said to the head of boeing, this is before they had their difficulty which is terrible
5:39 pm
what happened to him. i said dennis, i'm not going to spend $5.7 billion on a plane. i won't do it. last night i said it has to have a 3 on it. he said we can't do it. he called me the next day and said we'll take $200 million off. somebody said what are you losing? he said we'll take $200 million off. i said to the general in charge. i said general -- we have a cancellation clause. i said execute the cancellation clause. i'm not spending $5 billion for air force one. he said i'm proud of this clause. $250 million to cancel? i said general don't cancel it. just tell them we don't like the
5:40 pm
plane. i couldn't even say i am going to buy it from europe. the only competitor is europe. that doesn't work out too well. i said i don't want to send them $250 million for nothing. tell them the price is too high, we aren't going to bite. but don't put it in the rite writing. a week later the head of boeing said we can get it down. but you are asking for too much. i said you don't understand. it has to have a 3 on it. another month goes by be i forgot it, i get a call from boeing, would $3.9 billion be okay? i said yes. somebody said, well, it must be a different plane. i said yes we have a much nicer paint job.
5:41 pm
and it actually got an extra generator put on. so it's actually more. they said we could use an extra generator. i said sir we could use an extra generator. so i had it included in the price. these people know what i'm talking about. it's called included in the price. there are hundreds of deals like that. but you are one person. that's why i got mark meadows involved. because he's from north carolina and he's cheap as hell. i need some cheap people. there are hundreds of stories. i could tell you so much it's crazy. the bind agenda would chams our economy and destroy your country. he's going to train your medicare by giving away your healthcare to illegal immigrants. and you will have socialized immediate season.
5:42 pm
and obama lied 28 times when he said you can keep your doctor, you can keep your plan. he said it 28 times that we have. now you are really losing your doctor. you will have socialized medicine. private insurance for 18 some milliod for180 million americane their healthcare. there are 180 million people who will lose their health plan under this biden character. they will be running him ragged. sign this. okay, what is it. doesn't matter, just sign sit. >> i would like to rest, i'm getting tired, i would like to let kamala take over as
5:43 pm
president. that's no way to get into the office. we'll have a woman president some day. but it can't be kamala. it was a brilliant forecast. he could never pick her. she called him a racist. she talked about me tooing him. he was going to be me too'd. even pocahontas left him alone. i heard she felt sorry for him. i don't want people to feel sorry for our president. i want people to feel sorry for themselves because we have someone who knows what they are doing. you can't have this guy as your president. maybe i'll sign an executive order. you cannot have him as your president.
5:44 pm
you know this, everybody knows it. and you know what? people are going to vote for him because they feel sorry for him. and maybe he will show up for an hour and a half in a debate. but you see the condition he's in. you can't have him as your president. and you can't have her as your vice president potentially going to be president. that's why they are pushing so hard. they know he will be out soon and she'll take over. and she is the furthest left person of anybody. she is rated -- not by me -- she is rated further left than edge bernie sanders. he is second, she is first. over the next four years we'll make america into the manufacturing super power of the world. we'll end our reliance on china and other countries once and for all. we'll make our medical supplies
5:45 pm
right here in the united states. right here in the great state of north carolina. by the way, get out and vote, please. okay? we'll hire more police. thank you, sheriffs. i love the sheriffs. we got the endorsement from all the sheriffs in florida. everybody up in ohio and texas. we have the -- nobody has ever seen anything like it, the endorsements from law enforcement. we'll increase penalties for assaults only law enforcement. we'll ban deadly sanctuary cities. we'll defeat everybody that we have to, including the virus. but we'll defend the dignity of work and the sanctity of life. we'll uphold free speech and the
5:46 pm
right to keep and bear arms. we'll strike down terrorists who threaten our citizens. we'll keep america out of niece ridiculous foreign wars. we'll maintain america's unrivaled military might, and we'll insure peace through strength. it's about time. we'll end surprise medical bills, require price transparency, and further reduce health insurance premiums and the cost of prescription drugs by we are doing an unbelievable job on, other than the fact the drug companies are spending a fortune because they don't like me much. you will see the price of prescription drugs dropping 60-70 percent in a short period of time. wheel we'll strongly protect medicare and social security and we'll always protect patients
5:47 pm
with preexisting conditions. america will end the first woman on the moon and the united states will be the first nation to land an astronaut on mars. we'll see what we have done with nasa. we'll be the first one on mars, i hope. we'll stop the radical indoctrination of our students and restore patriot education to our schools. we'll teach our children to love our country, honor our history, and always respect our great american flag. and we'll live by the timeless words of our national motto, and we'll never change it, by the way. we'll never change the. they took the word god out of the pledge of allegiance twice. i said, did they make a mistake? they didn't. for them. they made a mistake for us.
5:48 pm
but we'll keep in god we trust. for years you had a president who apologized for america. now you have a president who is standing up for america, and standing up for the great people of north carolina. this is the most important election we have ever had. remember it. we'll be a socialist country, we'll be a communist country. these people are much further left than socialism. these people are sick. get your friends, get your family, get your neighbors, get your co-workers, and get out and vote. and watch to make sure they are not cheating, which they will be. early voting has already begun. don't wait, get out and vote. if we win this state we'll win the whole thing.
5:49 pm

president trump plans to nominate someone next week, he says a woman, soon, to fill the vacancy and urged republicans to take action without delay. mitch mcconnell says it will be called for a vote on the floor. they can only afford to lose three votes. vice president pence would come in and cast the deciding vote. susan cal rinse and lisa murkowski from nos. if m cobble doesn't think he can get 50 votes before the election he will table it and wait to see how the election shapes out. if the election is razor thin and the democrats sue, which they probably will, the case would go to the supreme court

with an empty seat on it. john roberts can't be trusted. so it's only 4-4. republicans need a full court to insure radicals don't steal the election. this was mcconnell's bread and butter. he was a master with impeachment. mitch, don't overthink this. push hard for a vote before the election and pull the trigger. if you don't have the votes, you don't have the votes. but don't drag it out as a strategy. that's even riskier. the only way that works is if trump wins and republicans keep the senate. if that happens fantastic. but all other scenarios won't work. republicans losing the senate or republicans winning puts mcconnell on shaky ground.

good luck depending on republican rinos to do the vote. why gift to democrats? they never gift to you. this isn't a friendly game of golf. the left keeps lecturing you about fairness, precedent, waiting for an election. this after they spied on the rum campaign, divide the country with sinister investigation and impeached the president during an election year. the democrats have no credibility. remember what they did to kavanaugh? and they have been rioting all summer. we are dealing with blood this city political killers on the left. buck up and do your jobs, republicans. if you don't, voters will never forget. this whole, oh, you can't confirm a justice in an election

year. that's fake news. the practice that goes back to 1888. you don't confirm a justice in anne election year when the white house and senate are controlled by different parties. but the republicans control the white house and the senate so game on. and americans agree. it's a majority of republicans, democrats and independents. since 1900, 70% of the justices were confirmed in under 64 days. the time between now and the election. and the president may nominate

justice amy comey barrett. a brilliant woman of faith with a beautiful family. not too bad. she clerked for scalia, practiced with a prestigious law firm. constitutional law professor at notre dame, and has a strong portfolio of academic writing that lead people to believe she'll strictly interpret the constitution as written and not legislate from the bench. democrats say she is too influence bid her catholic faith. she has spoken about this before and eloquently dismissed the phoney allegations. although it will be difficult to accuse her, but who knows what they will do.

loesch. what do you think will go down in a very short number of days. >> you made a great point about the opposing parties controlling the white house and the senate. i like the idea of amy comey barrett. you have joe biden trying to ingratiate himself with suburban moms and catholics. so bring that battle on. that's a great optic for democrats. jesse: what do you think about that battle as it rages. do you think it takes the covid-19 situation out of biden-camp. >> it does already. a lot of the news. we were having a list of the number of deaths and the discussions leading all of the news when it comes to schools, et cetera. the covid-19 virus was leading for the democrats. they wanted it to.

they thought that's what makes president trump weak. that rally we just saw sounds like 2016. he's inspired and energized. he understands this is the kinds of a fight americans win on. americans don't like what's going on in the country. they don't like riots and they don't like being threatened. none of the things they are threatening are what ruth bader ginsburg wanted. rub cams must act quickly and get it done. jesse: i know it will galvanize the democrats. but we have an election here. >> i think it will. history and precedent is on president trump's side. 1/3 of american presidents have nominated justices during an election year. george washington set that precedents. six presidents nominated justices after they lost

reelection but before their successor was sworn in. don't buy into this merit garland strategy. strategy. jesse: "justice with judge jeanine" is starting right now. judge jeanine: mourners across the country remember a giant of the supreme court. hello within welcome to "justice," i'm judge jeanine pirro. tonight'tonight's open opening t is still ahead. but first, it's been 24 hours since the nation learned about the passing of justice ruth bader ginsburg. but the partisan battle on capitol hill is in full swing. th
