>> leader mcconnell has defiled the senate like no one in this generation. >> none of them assert that this majority would be breaking any senate rule by holding this vote. it is just that our democratic friends where they met like the outcome. >> but senator mcconnell is putting the senate through now the self-destructive. and that back-and-forth is just the beginning. that's trying to stop republicans, and that includes nancy pelosi doubling down on the president. >> you can do more impeachments and things like that, do you have enough power? >> what we can impeach him every day of the week for everything he does, and the american people want to know what we are doing that affects them directly.

>> jesse: president trump brings it on. speak to go ahead, i want them to do that. it's >> jesse: so republicans are holding their breath the last 48 hours and then gardner, alexander and today, dana, met romney. i think everything is falling into place that looks like. >> dana: you have to love mitch mcconnell who has the vote, and you have schumer and democrats outside with the poster board, and trying to say

and that's how it affects the presidential race, and that's its primary liability which is his failure to deal with coronavirus. today we learned that 200,000 plus have died from coronavirus in this country. i think right now, he doesn't have any answers and i think the added vote on the court given that there is an obama case coming up a week after the election, i think pre-existing condition and the like, virtually nobody is affected by coronavirus. he said because young people are not going to get sick, healthy people -- he knows he's wrong, i think he knows he's wrong completed, told bob ordered he was wrong but this is why i

think this former pencil data, this young woman who came out and said, you know what, i can't do it, i quit. and then kirk trump said i'm glad to have coronavirus because it means i don't have to shake hands company people should pay attention. >> greg: you paraphrased him completely and correctly. as for the 200,000 that was a prediction made by experts after they flatten the curve. it was up to between one and 2 million. and by the way, i feel like a vacancy wasn't stacking the court. >> stacking is when we don't let democrats -- the president nominated garland, the senate just didn't. >> does a difference. >> 's before lets let degen get in here, he's talking about this distraction on the court from

and puffing so much and caterwauling about the hypocrisy, like pulling their shirt collars? because they got themselves into this. this is pure misdirected outrage and self-loathing. it started when harry rave got rid of the filibuster and then donald j. trump beat hillary clinton, he's going to have three supreme court justices appointed in his first term potentially and then you have the senate which is in a better position because of the four democratic centers which voted nay on justice kavanaugh. they love their seats, so mitch mcconnell is in a better place. i would be hating myself, too. >> greg: self-loathing democrats, more on that coming up. sleepy joe ignoring the supreme court fight to focus on covid. that ended up costing him.

is a fractious democratic party and you have a center left the group and then progressives, no matter who he puts out there it won't be satisfactory. plus conservatives have a long history of working on judicial nominations so they had a list that president trump was very willing to put forward. the thing about for joe biden is, if he wants to make the case about covid-19 and make the situation a referendum on covid-19, he should do it. but that means he has to make the case. we try to do that, they called the lid at like 9:00 in the morning which means you will not see the that for the rest of the day. so you still have to get out there and do it, you can't just expect millions of people to come to their own conclusion. >> dana: that's why you are staying on coronavirus because

he doesn't really well, just to justify the fact that he's been locked up in his house and not doing much for months and months and that's his only excuse. >> juan: well i don't know, but i do know about today and i think the reason he put the lid on early was because he had two fund-raisers. he wants to maintain what is now an advantage in terms of cash on hand. >> dana: hillary clinton had more money than trump. >> juan: it's not that he was an active but, to get back to the topic that you started on, i think not having a list in my experience is normal. i think with abnormal is trump committing to a list and a list provided by a conservative legal group, the federal with society, it's incredible. i don't know if people realize that if trump gets another person on the court, six of the nine people on the supreme court will have been recommended and are members of one group, the

biden is stunned into silence. biden didn't say anything about the riots all summer, and biden who is always kind of a law and order democrat is now saying nothing about that and he said in june he would release the list of names for the supreme court. so there would be a list of black women and now he is saying he's not going to say that. and a year ago he's on tape saying i don't think we should pack the court but now he asked that question and he says i don't want to say anything if it gives trump ammunition. the reason he's not saying anything, if he says we will pack the court that admits that he's the trojan horse for the radical left. that depresses his face and they don't turn out. it exposes the rift that stare in that rift is being exposed right now. there's only one candidate that has a strong consolidated face right now and that is donald trump. >> greg: i love how the dems

many polite words, like packing the court is now called reform. but what is packing the court? it's more referees on the field and it's a flaw that anyone could exploit. so whoever is in power could impact more judges under the court and it's a flaw that probably should be changed. but the way they are framing it, they are framing it as reformed by actually packing the court. and to the covid thing, what drives me crazy as the democrats came up with this line of reasoning that we shouldn't be politicizing virus even though they called the travel ban racist because they hate donald trump and they tried to hold up the funding because it's donald trump. now who is politicizing covid? joe biden, it's his entire campaign. i think trump has to fight back on this because we see everyone in the media, that was the low end, like 140-200 if you did

everything right. if you didn't do anything it was 2 million. so donald trump could actually argue, if you are going to say i killed 200,000 people i could say i saved 1.8 million lives because it's essentially the same argument, it's unprovable because you don't have a parallel universe where joe biden or a democrat was president so nothing they say could be proved. in fact i guarantee you in a week that they will say that donald trump had justice ginsburg killed. that's how crazy -- they are running out of crazy stuff to say and i will help them with that completely absurd suggestion. >> dagen: up next, joe biden has a major blind spot, one thing that democrats fear could cause him the election. ♪

he doesn't know how his campfield about fracking. so joe that go viral or decide these big moments. >> juan: were talking earlier about covid so is it reasonable that trump will have to produce something about coronavirus, or does he have to say, here's my plan? >> he has already but to the point that joe biden's expectations were so low for the performance, that if he shows up in the bathrobe isn't open he wins. but, i think -- now to your point about covid, i think at this debate doesn't go off the rails in the first 10 minutes i will be shocked because of what

biden says about trump. his entire plank is about trump. trump is a murderer, to the covid thing. do you think trump will let that slide? this is the first time he's ever had to defend his record in a debate so he's got this guy who's basically got nothing but, and it's up to trump to match every one of those things with a fist -- metaphorically speaking, right back at joe. if not, i think joe has a chance. but he will have to fact-check joe. >> juan: while you are are our financial expert, what will trump do? >> dagen: well you go back to his record before the pandemic shut down, he had incredible gains in incomes and the poverty rate at the lowest level in 60

years, and working men and women were making more money than even their boss was. he will focus on the private sector getting a vaccine out, where you are going to have probably the whole entire population of the united states vaccinated by the end of next year. but all trump has to do is some rope-a-dope. it's the last 30 minutes, where his mind starts wandering in the briefing books have gone right out of both of his years and that hot cup of cocoa. read the transcripts of what joe biden, some of the answers toward the end of the debate. they are doozies. remember the record player? >> greg: how long was the debate, that we know? >> the court is going to come up. i imagine they might say to donald trump, do you want to overturn roe v. wade, what does he say?

that case comes before the supreme court but i'm confident that the court will rule based on the rule of law. and, sometimes these viral moments, i do remember al gore came up and it invades 43 space and looks at him and it's like that was the moment of the debate, like who the heck do you think you are. i don't know if they will be able to do that in this moment, we will see. but i think democrats by putting this out there now, we called them bedwetting democrats, they are so nervous. they always do this and i was listening to david axelrod's podcast where he was talking about, they are always nervous
