"the story" continues, we will be back here for you tomorrow night at seven. tomorrow is friday. i have a great night and i will see you then. ♪ >> tucker: good >> tucker: could evening and welcome to tucker carlson tonight. did you catch the vb to pay to last night? you've got to think the biden people are beginning to regret pickingma kamala harris on the ticket. may be on paper she made sense. but on stage? not appealing to put it mildly. unless you enjoy being lectured and schooled by a substitute teachers whoho try to mask their insecurity with aggression, you probably don't want four more years of that, even 90 minutes was hard to take. the difference is we learned one important new thing from
9:01 pm
watching. we'll learn how democrats plan to use identity politics going forward. identity politics was maybe the most effective way to get democrats to the polls in an election year. for whaty they do it we learned last night is identity politics have a peak they'll make bigger purpose. it's the justification democrats will use to tear down our centuries old system of government and replace it with one party rule with themselves in charge. the evidence came at last nights debate when mike pence asked harris what the moderator didn't ask but should. does she and biden plan to pack the supreme court of the united states? does the biden administration at ten to convertur our third branh of government into a partisan super legislature with part-time tenure? it's a simple question, a vitala question. we don't want that here. yet for weeks joe biden and kamala harris have refused to say what were they would do when elected.
9:02 pm
last night pence pushed again. >> if you and joe biden if somehow you would make the election going to pack the supreme court to get your way? >> joe and i are very clear. the americanar people are voting right now and it should be there decision about who will serve on this most important body for a lifetime. >> people are voting right now. people want to know if you and joe biden are going to pack the supreme court if you don't get your way in this nomination. >> let's talk about packing the court then. >> please. >> i'm about to. do you know that of the 50 people who president trump appointed to the court of appeals for lifetime appointments, not one is black? this is what they've been doing. you want tot talk about packing the court, let's have that discussion. >> tucker: wait a minute, what
9:03 pm
does court packing have with a number of black judges on the federal circuit court of appeals? those seem like completely unrelated concepts. it was kamala harris trying to dodge the question? unfortunately she was not dodging it. s she was answering the question and she was answering it honestly cannot believe it or not. a if she and joe biden win next month that she will indeed pack the supreme court and she'll justify due thing that in the name of diversity per they'll tell you that the trump administration's race is not selecting judges based on the color of their skin. they'lll say that nine is a very racist number, it's a number a that a dead white guy made a long time ago. that's what they are going to tell you. for now they aren't going to tell you anything though. joe biden repeated that position today. >> look, it's a great question and i don't blame you for asking
9:04 pm
it. but you know, the moment i answer that question, the headline of every one of your papers will be about that. >> did you hear that? has any presidential candidate in history ever use that line? all lines have been used before but this one? "i can't answer your questioni because if i do everyone will talk about my answer." we have no idea what it means. but we do know that none of this is going to stop with the supreme court. this summer, barack obama used a funeral service to tell us the filibuster is a relic of jim crow, it's a racist procedure. any senate procedure that limits the power of the democratic party is by definitionon racist. that's the new standard. identity politics is the most powerful political weapon they have. don't take it at fac face value. there's a purpose for it. identity politics is also a handy shield.th saw that repeatedly last night.
9:05 pm
at one point, pence pointed out that the democrats have attacked it amy kony barrett for the crime of being catholic prayer that seems out-of-bounds. she responded are responding herself as a person of faith. >> first of all, joe biden and i are both people of faith. it's insulting to suggest that we would knock anyone for their faith. >> tucker: come on. a person of faith now? how? what exactly does kamala harris worship apart from power? we'd like to know. if you know, tell us. she seems like the most secular candidate ever to run for national office but that's not an attack on her by the way for plenty of decent secular people. but it's true. not that truth doesn't matter iu this case. t for the purposes of last night's debate, kamala harris identified as a person of faith and that all that matters. the progressive left understands race, gender, and religious faith as means to an end, they are identities but they do not have independent meanings.ng
9:06 pm
they are tools used to win arguments and achieve power. kamala harris cycled through various identities last night. "i am speaking," she barked again and again when mike pence tried to respond to her. in other words, "i'm a woman,at that's why you're interrupting me." >> the vice president, when i asked, why didn't y'all tell anybody? because the president wanted to people to remain calm. >> this isn't -- >> mr. vice president, i'm speaking. >> i have the floor. >> joe biden has made it very clear he will not raise taxes on anybody who makes less than $400,000 a year. >> he repealed the trump tax cuts -- >> mr. vice president, i'm speaking. i'm so glad we went through a little history lesson. let's do that a littlele more. in 1854 -- >> i'd like you to answer the question. >> mr. vice president, i'm speaking. >> tucker: democrats thought it was appealing.
9:07 pm
already you can find t-shirts and mugs online with the words "i'm speaking." obviously it was planned. kamala harris' many allies in the media were impressed. they knew exactly what kamala waharris is really saying. "i'm a woman." they were unanimous in their conclusion. mike pence who's been married to the same woman of 35 years interrupted kamala harris because he's a sexist who hates women. >> she was not overtly assertive in this entire debate. >> be >> pence was a man's mansplainer. >> he interrupted the other woman in the room who at one point lost control of him. >> you have a reporter and woman candidate, both of them you are interrupting, both of them you're attacking, not o a good sign. >> i think a lot of people notice a lot of mansplaining.
9:08 pm
>> some may feel there is a lack of respect. >> let me start with pence pete he was patronizing which drove all the women crazy. >> mike pence who was mostly polite but did interrupt and did do the guy thing of demanding and getting more time to speak than the woman. >> tucker: oh... so as a scientific matter, the category "women" doesn't really exist, neither does the category "men," because gender fluidity is real, you can choose your gender. but women are also simultaneously so different from men that you have to treat them in a completely different way or you are a bad person. are you following this? if you do this, you are mansplaining. that's what they told us last night. get some self-respect. by the way, think it through. why did no one accuse donald trump or joe biden of
9:09 pm
"mansplaining" when they were interrupting each others debate. whatever. when a man interrupts a woman, there must be sexist and there is no other explanation. to treat women equally, we have to treat them typically from men not to disturb their delegates and civilities. it's an it's insane and if the consequences weren't so serious it would be amusing. they don't follow their own rules which makes sense because the rules are incoherent. the same people who denounced pence as a sexist went on at length about kamala harris' charming girlish smile. >> kamala harris, with a smile at them a push back on mike pence's repeatedik talking over time and interrupting her. >> did you notice the smile that was on her face all the time? that's hard when you are getting interrupted constantly. >> every shot kamala harris, when she's looking at him, would smile. she had a smile on her face far more than pence ever had a smile
9:10 pm
on his face. >> kamala on the other hand, she was strong. had a hint of joy. you said there is joyfulness in her spirit. >> tucker: obviously these are partisans. obviously these are people projecting their own sad empty hollow personal lives on to the rest of the country. no matter what they are doing, though, it's just too stupid for a great nation. at one point during the debate, mike pence to his credit tried to elevate it a little bit to talk about something that actually matters. but the habit of that's how people of faith income by the way, senator harris. calling this kind of thinking, inter-sectionalism, critical race theory,d whatever. it's terrible. it's a cul-de-sac. it will wreck the country. mike pence tried to make that point. he said last night that the police aren't systemically
9:11 pm
racist, whatever that is, this is a fundamentally good country bid that's a conversation worth having. that would be edifying. that does mean something. but the media ignored it. they spent most of the night talking about a housefly that landed on mike pence's forehead. >> one point they were talking about systemic racism, i think it's very interesting timing that a fly would land on mike pence's head at that particular time when he said there really wasn't systemic racism. i r saw the fly basically sayin, say what? it was very interesting. >> tucker: very interesting? what you had here is so often h yet another unhappy rich lady complaining about oppression. no wonder the american population is so desperately unhappy. look at who is leading them. the most privileged in our society never stopped whining about their own lives. it's unbearable. in fact, if we are being honest about it, and this was one bright spot from last night's debate, some annoying behavior
9:12 pm
aside, it was a pretty respectful affair, all things considering. consideringgs we are three weeks out in the most intense political year of our lifetimes. there were a handful of minor eruptions as you would expect, but for the most part both of them, pence and harris, kept of their time limit pair they spoke same amount ofe time last night. that's worth noting. may be celebrating. and yet for the media class, the main take away was that mike pence is a sexist, by the way there was a fly on his forehead. we definitely deserve better than that. the presidential election is ain little over three weeks from right now. we stilll have no idea who is going to win but no matter who does when back in november, there is one thing for certain. this country desperately needs a better class of leaders in charge. these people are ridiculous. victor davis hanson is a senior fellow at the hoover institution. happy to have them on tonight to assess what we all saw. professor, thanks for coming on. what did you make of that deba
9:13 pm
debate? >> it was pretty clear what their strategy is, and you hit on a lot of good points that they are going to talk about race and they are going to talk about trump as a masked killer so they are not going to ask questions about tracking, new green deal, packing the court, who they would appoint. they are elite leftists who have made a bargain with desperate socialists and i am not allowed to speak that. even aoc is in that deal, she had anemic tweets, actually fracking is kind of bad. they know where they are allowed to go and where they are not. barack obama, a guy who grew up in prep school, grew up in upper middle-class, grandmother was a bank official, told us that he was part of the underclass and had been a victim of racism and he was actually immoderate. going too balance the budget, wasn't going to let -- we weren't going to be indexed at china anymore, said he was opposed to gay marriage.
9:14 pm
he had the most liberal voting record like kamala harris in the senate. we knew what they are doing but they want to talk, will discuss. and the technical manner in which they carry out that strategy, i think they are going to stay in seclusion because they feel these polls are accurate and they are going to do and run out the clock and not give any controversial statement and play because they are not authentic people, play it's good old kamala who grew up in oakland when her parents were phds, lived a pretty privileged lifestyle. and good old joe from stratton a working-class guy who became a multimillionaire after working at five levels of government, they aren't going to say anything controversial. the quote from joe biden proved that. second, they are going to outsource this to the media and the pelosi democrats, so every 4-5 days we are going to get that donald trump consulted the war dead, they all encapsulated kamala harris' talking points,
9:15 pm
didn't bring up the assassins with putin, or trump called the coronavirus a hoax that even though liberal facts checkers have rejected, or said something in charlottesville, before the coronavirus struck trump we were in the melania's trusted friend with the phone call. now it's the turn of nancy pelosi today saying the 25th amendment, he's crazy. that is the media's role. you can see finally -- i will be frank, tucker, the moderators have a modus operandi, they always have a gotcha question for trump. didn't you say something about not accepting the election, didn't you say something at charlottesville? didn't you -- and then to the other side, we aren't going to ask you any thing about you ain't black or insulting an african-american journalist and calling him a junkie and cocaine
9:16 pm
user, or y, kamala, did you call joe biden a racist? that's what theyt are hoping on. it begs the question what is trump to do about this, when it is 360-degree opponents, the celebrities, academic world, intellectuals, the wealthy and the elite of silicon valley and wall street?et i think he's got to emphasize that this election is on class. it's not on race. there are 100 million people, ulmuscular people every day takg a risk that they are going to be infected whether they serve you at the store or bring your door -- food to curbside, or they bring your oven when it blows up from home depot, trucking on that, producing food, farming. yes, they don't always have the correct mask and maybe theynd don't social distance, but they are keeping the country going for whom, zoom and the skype class, they are in their basement telemarketing, they are making a lot of money, and
9:17 pm
hectoring everybody that they aren politically incorrect, they are racists, there mask is an inch too small, they are 1 foot closer. trump has to say i'm one with these people. that frees us from these middle east quagmires and it gives your kids good wages, doesn't send your kid to afghanistan or iraq.q. i want to get out of the green deal because i want you to have a job. i do not want a bunch of elites in the bay area to tell you how to live your eyes lives. i don't have any apologies for getting sick. that's what the president isnt supposed to do. you're supposed to take risks, bring individuals into the white house. crisscross the country even have a rally. you know what? when i get sick i'm going to take risks by doing expert mental drugs to get back on the job. i'mob, not going to stay in my basement and isolate myself and pass judgments to not take the same risk. i think that's going to appeal, a lot of people are getting
9:18 pm
tired of the sort of things you outlined. >> tucker: i certainly am. the people benefited the most from the country seem to despise at the most which is unsustainable. nicese to see you tonight. thank you. >> thank you. >> tucker: so much craziness going on you may have missed nancy pelosi going completely off the rails today. our kevin corke is following it and has a story for us. >> good evening paid we've seen this play before, the one where the sittings beaker in the house question the mental and physical capacity of the president. think bac back to 2017 were democrats introducedd a bill called the oversight commission on presidential capacity act. back then, they claim the aim was to "determine whether the o president is mentally or physically unable to discharge the powers and duties of the office." tomorrow they will draw from that bill again to take another run at questioning the president's fitness from office. here is a somewhat cryptic how speaker pelosi today. >> tomorrow, by the way,
9:19 pm
tomorrow, come here tomorrow. we are going to be talking about the 25th amendment. going to talk about it tomorrow except for the day that if you want to know more about that, we will see you tomorrow. >> if all this seems familiar, recall this went on well into 2017 with mendy on the left trotting out the canard citing the 20 but the men meant that the president somehow couldn't do the job. tomorrow it would seem a new tactic from an old playbook. tucker? >> tucker: take him out a month before the election. kevin corke, good to see you tonight. michelle obama warnedgh us this week that white super mrs. where rampaging and destroying this country. might not be able to see them but deftly out they are disguised as a biella blm activists.these stealthy whr tests whitesupremacists struck again. we will show the video next.
9:24 pm
9:25 pm
are out on the streets wrecking businesses almost every night but some of them are stealthy, they even have blm tattoos and want to abolish the police. it's all a cover. special obama assures us this is a radical right. as if we needed more evidence. last night in suburban wisconsin, the same white supremacists struck again like we saw in portland, kenosha,s. neapolis. they were disguised as joe biden voters, attacked the police. things got so banned that authorities won the national guard to set up a protective perimeter around city hall. just just show you how terrifyingly true michelle obama's warning was, we have her statement side by side with footage from last night in milwaukee. watch this. >> they are pinning it all on what's been an overwhelmingly peaceful movement for racial solidarity. only a tiny fraction of
9:26 pm
demonstrations have had any violence at all. so what the president is doing once again patently false. it's morally wrong and, yes, it is racist. >> tucker: patently false, morally wrong, and yes, racist. you wouldn't want to be that. we don't want to disappoint michelle obama but we want to give you some details on the writing we showed video. it happens practically every day in america but we want to show you this specific outbreak of a pair prosecutors announced that we are not going to charge police officers in the shooting death of a 17 year old african man called alvin cole. prosecutors said that he had fired a shot with a stolen handgun. when he did that, the police officer t who, by the way, is ao black, returned fire. based on all the evidence, the
9:27 pm
judicial process worked itsdi wy through and no charges were brought.t. that's the way it supposed to work but nobody cares about the facts because a a long time ago, rich partisans like michelle obama told them that facts don't matter and only now starting to see the consequenc consequences. at last nights debate, mike pence did something very few republicans are willing to do, to reject out of hand that america is fundamentally a racist nation come systemically racist,r whatever that is, and e defended the police who democrats say are targetingus people by skin color. >> this presumption you hear consistently from joe biden and kamala harris, that america is systemically racist, that as joe biden said, he believes that law enforcement has an implicit bias against minorities, is a great insult to the men and
9:28 pm
women who serve inen law enforcement. >> tucker: that's true. meanwhile, because everything is irony, kamala harris and many other democrats advocating for actual systemic racism in its largest state, california will vote on something called proposition 16, a ballot initiative that would repeal the ban on racial's discrimination n college admissions, something all americans should believe in. he joins us. thank you so much for coming on. so this conversation about systemic racism is being pushed by people who want to repeal a ban on racism? what do you make of that? >> well, i make that the hypocrisy and the use of race, or the use of identity primarily racial identity, it' as the basf
9:29 pm
public policy, has reached a scary level. those who are practicing this are frightening the hell out of a lot of people who wake up every day thinking the police are out to get them, that people they think they have lunch with who are white are in fact their enemies and are pretending to like them. we are at war and my great state of california with those that are identified as progressives and i try with all my might to make sure that partisan politics does not enter into our campaign. but i would be derelict if i didn't tell you that those on the progressive left are ripping asunder any semblance of order we had in our state. their agenda is really pretty clear.ea if you look at the ballot voter guide, the premise is made that
9:30 pm
white men are -- have too much wealth and power, they control too manyon companies and are getting public contracts, that asians have too many seats at thee university of california. their view is that of representation and equity. our view is a matter of equali equality. they say that equality is a failed experiment!" the founders didn't believe it would be an experiment. lincoln didn't believe it would be an experiment. dr. king didn't believe it would be an experiment. i along with millions of other black people didn't think equality was an experiment. we are fighting right now over the question of we are going to treat people as individuals or whether we are going to unleash racism that didn't exist -- we don't have systemic racism in the state of california. yet they are pretending that it
9:31 pm
is and they are using a lot of weasel words like "diversity" and "affirmative action" which should be winding down. we should be unwinding affirmative action, not turbocharging it as senator harris is going to do. >> tucker: it's also dystopian. you are fighting a lonely fight. godspeed. thank you for coming on tonight. >> thank you. >> tucker: last night, one of the weirdest things that have happened in a while, but telling come of the communist party of china censored a very specific section of a tv broadcast of the vp debate. we will show you what it was after the break.
9:36 pm
9:37 pm
able to see it. kamala harris' comments on china were not censored. what is that telling you? gordon chang is the author of the book "the coming collapse of china." thank you for coming on. why would china censor that and what should we infer from it? >> a couple of things, tucker. we know that china has devoted enormous emphasis on controlling the narrative on the coronavirus. when it put together its task force january 26th, they were nine people on the task force.nl only one was a public health official. all of them were party hacks and propaganda officialsan bear that says very much where beijing was going. vice president pence did yesterday is puncture a big hole in china's narrative so of course they aren't going to allow the chinese people to hear that. >> but they didn't censor anything that kamala harris said so it raises the question how
9:38 pm
did china's leaders view the election, what is their interest in this race? >> their interest in this race is survival because what president trump has done is broken five decades of failed china policy and beijing is upset about that. susan page, moderator, asked both the vice president and the senator, is china a competitor, adversary, or enemy? the correct answer is enemy and by pulling the plug on the vice president's comments last night, we know who our enemy is rooting for. >> it's pretty clear. we spent years deriding the idea that russia had a material effect on the last election. i do not want to make wild accusations here. but what you are saying it sounds like china has a vested interest in the outcome of this race. >> yes, it's been devoting enormous effort into it. especially from the beginning
9:39 pm
of february, there has been from the foreign ministry and the global times a concerted disinformation campaign, often times laboratory. but perhaps more insidious we have seen the bot and troll operations which have been directed w to unseating president trump, spreading false rumors through special media scenes and we know how big china's efforts have c been. they for anything including what china has been doing. looks like it's undermining the democracy but you are the only person y heard mention that which is kind of odd. good to see you. last night you heard a lot of the normal blow-dry cable newspeople describing mike pence as an "man's planer." what is a man explain her exactly? we asked tammy bruce, she's a
9:40 pm
host of "get tammy bruce." maybe i shouldn't make fun of it. i'm not sure what it is but it qsounds embarrassing. can you unpack this for us? >> maybes i should womanspalin t to you. i don't think the left understands what it is. they have boxed themselves into a horrible corner where they allowed >> maybe i should womanspalin it women to be categorized as specialre because of our gender and they want to be able to perpetuate that and yet they also argue for equality and yet how can yound e special and separate but equal? what they want is to use this idea. it's a conundrum! and it becomes a problem because then you have to be ableth to deliver an issue here is that people have been elevated on the left who believe and have been elevatede on occasion simply
9:41 pm
because of their gender as an example and they are never challenged. when you are challenged, when you aren't challenged you can't become strong. you don't know the answer to things and the wayst to keep frm being exposed, you aren't allowed to critique them, question them, or even insult them sometimes, even if they should be insulted and confronted because that is mean, that is sexism. you are being a man. that is why in my humble opinion kamala harris did not do well last night. she only debated democrats previously and not well. when confronted by tulsi gabbard during the primary, she did not know how to come back. thisis is a woman who expects to be protected, it appears. and the left is doing everyone a disservice, every woman at this service because it's the 21st century and they insist we
9:42 pm
all be treated like infants, and that's not going to assist any latter. any we should be treated equally, and that means if you are powerful, you should be confronted, you can answer questions, you better be prepared and you better understand how to convey your opinions y on policy. senator harris was unable to do any of that. >> i noticed. thank you for explaining that. that is a paradox of the center of n their argument and you outlined it acutely as i've ever heard it. thank you. tammy bruce. we told you earlier if you are watching last night, you saw an insect to send on to the fore head of the sitting vice president during the debate. you probably assumed it was just a housefly. no. according to some of our experts on cable news, something much more sinister was a foot, something spiritual, perhaps.
9:43 pm
9:48 pm
>> tucker: if you had your glasses on last night you might've seen a small insect land on mike pence has had according thise character on msnbc, it was a sign of demonic possession. >> i don't think it's ever a good sign when a fly lands on your head for 2 minutes. that is a sign all through history of sin, he who commands the fly always has seen historically the mark of the devil. >> i have to ask for the record are you joking because a fly could land on anyone? >> yes. but it didn't. it landed on mike pence and it says something. >> tucker: sayson something. hold the wine with dinner. does it hint toward something spiritual. for that, we go to adam corolla, our resident expert on the occult and the host of "the adam corolla show." you saw the fly to send on
9:49 pm
mike pence's ha mike pence head? what did you think? >> i'm glad the fly didn't land on joe biden's head because he would've collapsed under the weight of the housefly. i'm also glad it didn't land on kamala harris because if it would landed on kamala, cnn would've labeled it a hate cri hate crime. i'm happy that both those things didn't happen. if head had landed on nancy pelosi, i think it would've just crawled in one eac and walked out the other. >> tucker: [chuckling] so good! i'm glad i asked you. i it didn't occur to you as a noted expert on demonic possession, it didn't occur to you as an exorcist type of moment as it did to msnbc? >> i know what happened. the fly was disorientated
9:50 pm
because it had just fled california. it couldn't take it anymore. the fly -- sure, there is all the fecal matter all over the streets. that was great. but it couldn't take gavin newsom anymore so the fly left for utah. >> tucker: [laughter] i even the insects, the dung beetles, the carrion eaters, they are leaving too? the whole food chain? >> homeless, taxes, wildfires, gass, prices. yes. the insect community. >> tucker: i don't know if your camera is frozen... [laughter] that's so good. and so worth it. are you back? >> i am, sorry. >> tucker: [laughs] in california, even the internet doesn't work. but this is -- you don't see this, to clarify to our viewers
9:51 pm
once and for all, as a sign that satan has mike pence under his personal command? >> no, but i bet if we pulled up kamala's hair, we would find the triple six. i think dr. drew is calling me on the other line, actually. >> tucker: do you think he has concerns about that? >> yes, literally calling me as we speak. >> tucker: weight! did you watch the whole debate, not the fly interlude, i suppose? what did you think of it? >> i thought pence did a great job. i think trump should sit down because i think when he standse up he's too beefed up and revved up. he thinks he's on a street corner sending over a lit a trash can with -- you know, the bowery boys. i think sitting down work. i think pence just shot a whole lot of information they are direction and that'snf what happened.
9:52 pm
>> tucker: how do you think she did come when your senator? >> god, she's my senator. that's probably why the fly le left! she does what she does. she does a lot of gesticulating, laughing, condescending smiling and head nodding, but there is not a whole lot of meat on that bone. i felt like pence won this one. trump lost the first one. i don't know if anybody won the first one and it'd be nice if there was a second round. >> tucker: mike pence was accused last night in the after action analysis on the other channels of something calleds mansplaining. you can be honest, have you ever mansplained? >> every time a man opens his mouth, he is potentially mansplaining in this new world order we are living in. if you are heterosexual, white, male, and open yourpl mouth, you
9:53 pm
may possibly be involved in a mansplaining type of hate crime. i assume i've man manflush >> tucker: you should change the name of your show. adam corolla, thank you. >> thanks, tucker. >> tucker: you often hear republicans in washington say they care about how silicon valley is suppressing free speech. chance to dohave a something about it but they are not. it's not a happy story but we feel duty bound to tell you the story after the break.
9:58 pm
>> tucker: the political landscape is volatile right now, god knows what's going to happen so you think republicans in washington would be awake and alert trying to accomplish all i can. republicans still control the senate you would imagine they would be busy confirming the president's nominees while they are still able to. but they're not. in some cases, they are blocking conservatives from getting appointments, even now.
9:59 pm
here's one for example. a month ago the president nominated a man to serve on the sec. if you're worried about the unchallenged power of big tech, and you should be, you ought to support his appointment. but senate republicans do not support it, they are sitting on his nomination. they're hoping instead they'll bein able to confirm a joe biden appointee next year. the president has complained about this, including on twitter, but they've ignored him. remember that the next time you hear republicans in washington pretend that they care about free speech. pretend they are going to do something about the shocking abuse of the tech monopolies. right now they have a chance to help fix that problem, but they're refusing to do anything. it tells you a lot. we are out of time tonight, we will be back tomorrow night, 8:00 p.m., the show that is the sworn enemy of lying, pomposity, smugness, and groupthink. amy coney barrett's hearing starts next week, of course we will be following those in great detail.
