tax revenue is a drop in the bucket and we are getting less the 9% of the state budget and marijuana tax revenue so this is not been a boom for any state that has tried this but we have to look at the facts and say this isn't going to be a big boost for state coffers. jillian: a tweet from governor on tuesday, in addition to providing a boost to our economy legalizing marijuana would restore justice to those whose lives have been ruined by marijuana criminalization. does he have a point where that is concerned? >> reporter: legalization is about making money for small number of very rich people. people who are pushing this are phillip morris, they own a large portion of the industry and supercharged weed made it more addictive and targeting our youth by making marijuana products in ice cream etc.. it is not about social justice at all.

joins us with her thoughts before outside witnesses testify in today's hearing. thank you for being here. we appreciate it. >> good morning. thanks for having me. jillian: good morning. of course. why don't you tell us the single most important lesson you think judge barrett ever taught you. >> well, it would be difficult to overstate the influence she has had on my life or the many lessons that she has taught me both about the law and life just by watching her example of a life well-lived. one thing that always stood out to me is the fact that she never let's the pace of her life or the pressures in her life impose on her relationships or the job at hand. people and past are never a distraction to something else. she is present in every moment. i would also say the lessons i have learned from her haven't stopped since i stopped working for her. you know, this week i think she took us all to school on what it looks like to have courage and conviction.
