11:04 pm
joe biden a single question for the breaking story of the day, which was hunter biden's email revealing how he and the rest of the family cashed in on joe biden's position. now, the objective would agree that the voters should know why foreigners would pay the bidens' millions to see vice president joe biden. instead abc just airbrushed the story away as if it didn't existed like the old soviet union appeared cnn did an entire segment early today on what it considered the real scandal though from the b town hall. >> of all the questions to come from last night's town hall with president trump, one of the big ones was who was the woman nodding behind trump. they over a green woman immediately garnered fame despite the audience of undecided voters, it she has a trump supporter who ran for congress as a pro-trump candidate in 2018.
11:05 pm
>> laura: now, leave it to cnn to not even get the facts straight. nbc never said the town hall audience was made up of mostly undecided voters. it was a mix of voters with biden and trump voters. big deal. meanwhile, at least two of the questioners at biden town hall were democrat operatives, including a former speech writer in the obama administration. but that is not all. you may recall that earlier this year vice president biden face those allegations of sexual harassment from tara reade. again, the media doesn't care. they don't care. if you want more information on that topic, you only need to watch "60 minutes" in australia. >> smile like a wolf in sheep's clothing. you push me up against the wall, kind of push to move towards me, and then he used his knee to separate my legs.

[bleep]. >> laura: the media's liberal bias has been a pernicious problem. we know for decades. but for a long time there was at least a veneer of objectivity and some reports, but no more. that all vanished after obama entered the white house because forr eight years, it was as though the washington press corps became "people" magazine. >> it is one of his brief, shining moments with his jacket off and feed up for undisclosed location. this is the leader of the free world to ask me.ck inside the restaurant, the president with 65% approvald rating it feels like operating on a fast high. >> laura: martha stewart would be a hostile interview are compared to brian williams.
11:07 pm
and while the press is flying over obama's swanky concerts at the white t house, americans are seeing their jobs outsourced and by the time obama left office, race relationships were worse than when he got in here, but the media, again, looked the other way and that was gallop by the way. obama was on their side. and that is all that mattered. >> you have said -- the status of those dreamers? t >> in terms of your -- mr. president? >> i wonder how now you and the first lady will talk to your daughters about the meaning of this election, and how you interpret this -- >> laura: so that was on the last press conference in the white house for the president.
11:08 pm
how do you feel? and of course this all applies to biden and harris as well. the press will never ask the many hard questions. never hold them accountable, even if they take office. it will be like it was with obama, and that means you will have a white house that is completely unchecked with the press except fake polls, fake news, personal attacks on biden's critics and that will abound and all will be a practice for biden. hunter could sell the jefferson memorial from the oval office and they would never reported. no news there. the whole situation is bad for america. we are drowning in a sea of lies right now and if the media takes control of the white house, it will become almost impossible. as i said, the implicit promise of biden's campaign, think about what he said if it returns to calm, things will be calmer. but is it going to be calm were normal in any way to have a

11:15 pm
it was pretty easy to verify that there were many things in the dossier that were absolutely untrue. but even if you went with that story in the beginning, what is your excuse to continue to run with it now? you will still say -- a joe bid, at the debates, actually the same thing over again and mentioned vladimir putin in russia. how can you allow him to get away with that as a journalist? and not asking him about the whole issue with his son in ukraine is a very significant, i mean, it is not a small thing. because when you look at the extent of biden's history with ukraine, there is some very, very serious questions in addition to this that are yet to be answered. and so it is a further example of how as the press is biased and been exposed, they are not trying or pretending anymore. they are not just doubling down, they are ramping up on the bias. yet, to be viewed as credible and objective.
11:16 pm
>> laura: this idea that you will pick among these people for debate moderators, david, and tweeted out earlier today they should be conservative and a liberal. someone who can do an interview. and if we would just have liberals, liberal and conservative, and that is it in the two candidates and that is it, all fair in love and war here webe will go at it. i will be one and we will get someone on one of the other networks to do the liberal side. this is ridiculous. republicans shouldn't even agree to w these absurd moderators, given what we saw from savannah guthrie. >> no, it is ridiculous. now, look, i will say that i think, you know, trump is pugnacious to some extent brings that out of moderators or some people who interview him like a marshmallow. but i like your idea of let's get rid of the moderators.

influences. what is extraordinary about it, laura, does not like the evidence isn't there. you have to go back to the transcripts like klapper, brennan, was saying under oath. at the very same time they were. saying the opposite on television. and that is one example. what is really disturbing about this about this to me, as a journalist, i can understand we all have our bias and ideological of the media and in lockstep and that is one thing, but when you actually know and it is staring you in the face. when you receive pulitzer prizes, and stories that have beene incorrect, hundreds if not thousands, and then go onnd to y one of websites today whether cnn or any other paper and see if there are 12 stories on a page, there will be 12 negative stories about donald trump. and that his day in and day out, day in and day out. so if they claim there is objectivity at all, that is not
